World Cup Quarter Finals Live Match Chat
Welcome to World Cup Quarter Finals Live Match Chat. And then there were eight. Well, England plus another seven 😉 Some surprises along the way mixed with some familiar names progressing sees us arrive at the quarter-final stage with everything to play for. Like any tournament the continued presence of the home nation is generally seen as a positive, except by Spain of course who have already departed for the more familiar surroundings of Costa Blanca. We have also waved goodbye to Messi and Ronaldo and a new superstar has been born in Mbappe.
Sadly we said farewell to the gallant Japanese but with England facing Sweden, expectations continue to reach epic proportions. It’s coming home. Isn’t it?! Ah c’mon, let us dream!
We have the next two days off until we reconvene on Friday, so plenty of time to think over plans and transfers. Is it time to play a Chip or have they been utilised/wasted already?!
From a fantasy point of view we have 3 free transfers for this round and we can now own a maximum of five players from any one team.

Alli didn’t look fit from the off last night. Kane obviously looked knackered in ET. They’re saying Vardy is a doubt too and that he’d done his groin which is why he didn’t take a pen.
IvanTheTerrible
Let’s hope Kane is OK. Without him the entire team spirit will go down.
DMC
There’s always Welbeck. It’s more or less the same thing.
secretzorro
Marcus & Danny will do OK imo.
Silvers
Ok guys who do I fill the holes with ???
Silvers

Cookie

secretzorro

What do you lot think of these potential transfers and team? Leaves 0itb …any better options for 23.4 or any extra transfers worth a hit? Boyata and Chershev likely to start? Could leave me needing up to 9 transfers next round depending who goes through though!
Cookie
RedKev, it looks like Boyata and the Russian chap have lost their starting spots.
Also early reports suggest Cavani is struggling to make the game and the bench may be the best he can hope for.
I would prefer Neymar and a cheaper mid than Pogba i think.
RedKev
Cheers Cookie hadn’t realised Cavani not fit!
Any cheaper mids you’d recommend…Golovin?
Could do Neymar and Golovin if I take a hit and do Boyata to Pavard??
Cookie
Those moves make more sense to me RedKev

Hi Innit, I’m getting this more and more: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 2147483648 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home/fantasyfootball2/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 2513: I get it when using VPN or not which suggests it’s not my end. I’m not saying it’s your end, it’s likely a server issue between us somewhere, just a heads up matey, if other peeps are getting it, then Houston, we have a problem???
inittowinit
Yeah we know about it mate. Been an intermittent issue for a bit. We are about to move host / server and it’ll be fixed at that point. Thanks anyway, always good to know if anyone has an issue.
secretzorro
