Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 36 FPL News: Welcome to the double before the DOUBLE! Don’t let the appetizer feel fool you though, this small DGW will be just as vital when it is all said and done in fpl. For those of you who like to drown in misery for more time than you really should, do we have a treat for you. This game-week starts on a Friday and ends the following Wednesday, so plenty of time to second guess yourself while the actual GW drags on and on. The Hammers and Spurs kick it all off with an 8pm fixture. West Ham has won once in their last 10, Tottenham has lost once in their last 10. Hmmmm, I wonder how this is going to go?

On Saturday we get it rolling with a lunch time affair between City and Palace. City needs to win by at least 2 goals to take over third place and Palace with a win 99.9% secures the top flight for next season. 3pm brings us four fixtures. Cherry power tangles with on vacation Stoke, The Clarets play a round of golf with The Baggies, Hull plays the new biggest game ever vs nobody, nobody at all, although some people call them Sunderland. The Foxes and Watford round out the three o’clock games, both teams all but secure their spot in the top league with 1 point, I know what South Americans would do. The last of the Saturday squabbles end with in-need Swansea hosting Everton.

Sunday brings us only two fixtures, but both should be a lot of fun. Liverpool is so close yet so far away to securing a top 4 spot, all they have to do is beat their B team, Southampton. How hard can this be? Really? Just threaten to stop buying their players, job done. In the late game, we see Arsenal and United battle to the death…on twitter and not the players, their fans. Who was better, who was what in the early 2000s. FA cup matters more than the Europa, Europa hands out a Champions League spot, you paid x amount for Pogdab, you still have Wenger, blah blah blah. Meanwhile on the field, United will field whoever is brave enough and Arsenal will play a bunch of overpaid (yeah, even at Arsenal that happens) crybabies who would rather be somewhere else.

Monday brings with it one fixture. Chelsea will inch closer to the title and all but finish relegating Middlesbrough when these two face-off at Stamford Bridge. Hopefully Diego scores one or two before he heads off to China to get even older and live in luxury as he so deserves. Turning on Brazil, asking players from an opposing team to let his team (Rayo Vallecano vs Granada) score and stamping on people rewarded with millions.

Wednesday sees the end of this mini double. As Saints welcome in Arsenal for each of those teams second affair of the GW. Frankly who knows what we will see here. Southampton is just playing out the string and by the time The Gunners arrive at St. Mary’s stadium for all intents and purposes they could be also.

Was on 1st position all season but got bit off track after around 30th gw, taking hits and not getting points all that. Benched Stephens or could have covered more this week! Played wc this week and will have BB for next week, he will play TC. ITS GOING DOWN THE WIRE!!

anyone else still considering using bench boost for gw38 instead of 37. I have 3 sgw players so not sure what to do. They are all playing at home gw37 so that may swing it..

What’s the interest tonight then guys?

I pulled back 25 points in my ML meaning I’m only 5 behind now thanks to Forster and Stephens double up.

Tonight it’s Pedro (me) versus Cahill (him) and I have Forster, Stephens, Monreal and Captain Sanchez to come and he has no more after tonight.

I have BB for next week and he has no chips.

50 points so far with Alonso, Ward-Prowse, Yoshida, Gabbiadini and Sanchez left to play one more game and also has 3xC on Sanchez so this could be a pretty good weekend.

Curently 3rd in our mini-league but with a little bit of luck I think I could win it. I’m the only one with any chips left….

And this is my team for next weekend. Pretty pleased with it. Will get rid of Britos and bring in someone else. (If there are no injuries and stoff) Got 1FT and 4,1 ITB. I’m thinking Cahill or is there a better option?

Hey guys. I have a few concerns with my team I need advice on. 0.2 in the bank. I don’t like that I share Sane, Alli, and Sanchez with my ML leader. I wouldn’t want to transfer Sanchez of course, but I’ve been thinking of moving Sane and Alli to two others in a gamble to catch up to him. De Bruyne? Or do I move Davies with Alli, and who to? I’ve also had the thought of holding my BB for GW 38 seeing has I only have 12 DGW players and I can field all of them but Lloris. Which is the best option? Thanks!!

I’m thinking Sanchez out and KDB in and make KDB captain. He has great fixtures comming up and seems to be in the zone at the moment, something that Sanchez is not and there is only 2 gw’s left….

I’m not blowing FT’s and taking hits at this stage taking out the likes of Sane/Alli/Sanchez ahead of a DGW, by the looks of it that ML leader of yours has still got his WC chip so I reckon he’ll be using that this GW so who knows what his team might look like.

I’d play the BB this GW and bank that FT which would allow for more flexibility in changing players ahead of GW 38 but I’ll admit it flat out that chasing 80 odd points will be a tough nut to crack.

Been back and forth on Sanchez as well. Just don’t know if it’s too risky with those fixtures… I guess my first priority should be De Bruyne if I make a transfer. Whether it comes at the expense of Sanchez or 2 others idk yet. Andy, it’s definitely a long shot but won’t back down yet! Won my ML last year in a similar position to this haha what gives me some hope is that the leader hasn’t paid much attention to recent weeks. Appreciate the input guys!

Evening folks, any thoughts on Gabriels gametime from here on in ? Got a feeling we ain’t gonna see him anymore this season. Thinking Gabriel + Gabbi to Prodl + Welbeck. Would have to do the Gabriel move tonight as will just have enough dosh, if he drops it scuppers it all.
