Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 36 FPL News: Welcome to the double before the DOUBLE! Don’t let the appetizer feel fool you though, this small DGW will be just as vital when it is all said and done in fpl. For those of you who like to drown in misery for more time than you really should, do we have a treat for you. This game-week starts on a Friday and ends the following Wednesday, so plenty of time to second guess yourself while the actual GW drags on and on. The Hammers and Spurs kick it all off with an 8pm fixture. West Ham has won once in their last 10, Tottenham has lost once in their last 10. Hmmmm, I wonder how this is going to go?

On Saturday we get it rolling with a lunch time affair between City and Palace. City needs to win by at least 2 goals to take over third place and Palace with a win 99.9% secures the top flight for next season. 3pm brings us four fixtures. Cherry power tangles with on vacation Stoke, The Clarets play a round of golf with The Baggies, Hull plays the new biggest game ever vs nobody, nobody at all, although some people call them Sunderland. The Foxes and Watford round out the three o’clock games, both teams all but secure their spot in the top league with 1 point, I know what South Americans would do. The last of the Saturday squabbles end with in-need Swansea hosting Everton.

Sunday brings us only two fixtures, but both should be a lot of fun. Liverpool is so close yet so far away to securing a top 4 spot, all they have to do is beat their B team, Southampton. How hard can this be? Really? Just threaten to stop buying their players, job done. In the late game, we see Arsenal and United battle to the death…on twitter and not the players, their fans. Who was better, who was what in the early 2000s. FA cup matters more than the Europa, Europa hands out a Champions League spot, you paid x amount for Pogdab, you still have Wenger, blah blah blah. Meanwhile on the field, United will field whoever is brave enough and Arsenal will play a bunch of overpaid (yeah, even at Arsenal that happens) crybabies who would rather be somewhere else.

Monday brings with it one fixture. Chelsea will inch closer to the title and all but finish relegating Middlesbrough when these two face-off at Stamford Bridge. Hopefully Diego scores one or two before he heads off to China to get even older and live in luxury as he so deserves. Turning on Brazil, asking players from an opposing team to let his team (Rayo Vallecano vs Granada) score and stamping on people rewarded with millions.

Wednesday sees the end of this mini double. As Saints welcome in Arsenal for each of those teams second affair of the GW. Frankly who knows what we will see here. Southampton is just playing out the string and by the time The Gunners arrive at St. Mary’s stadium for all intents and purposes they could be also.

    Hi all,

    Got the following team for BB

    Pickford / Hennessey*
    Gibson* / Huth / Yoshida / Valencia / Davies
    Alli / King* / Zaha* / Sanchez / Siggy*
    costa/ Gabbi / Kane

    * with SGW.

    Which to do?

    1. Siggy + Gibson -> Pedro + Monreal for -4
    2. Siggy + Gibson + Valencia -> Pedro + Monreal + Kompany for -8

    Any other moves to consider?

    Just read an interview with Jose Mourinho if anyone’s looking for united coverage in all seriousness I recommend Wayne Rooney. Looks like he will be used for the upcoming fixtures. And it really was just bad luck he didn’t score against Arsenal he should have, a player of his calibre knows he and to have done more with his chances.

      He’s on set prices, free kicks and penalties and Mourinho called him a blessing I’m expecting some big point returns and if Sanchez doesn’t deliver Rooney will be my captain for the next gameweek.

    guys got bailly and valencia but worried about playing time should i replace one or both for a hit. thinking valencia to either kompany or monreal. im planning on playing bench boost and have 3 sgw players, holgate fraser and king. I may just keep them as i cant think of suitable replacements. Appreciate ur thoughts.

      BayernFan says:

      I wouldn’t touch anything united personally except for Rooney. Too much of a rotation risk. I have both Kompany and Monreal on my team and I expect them to do well

      • saloba11 says:

        might sale either kane costa or jesus and bring in Rooney.

        • BayernFan says:

          what’s your team overall? I think doing Kane to Rooney will save you lots of money so you will be able to bring in quality players to reinforce weaknesses. Spurs have tough fixture from here on out

          You can bring in Kompany and Monreal. Hazard or KDB. Depends where your weaknesses are in the squad or who you’re lacking all of the above have excellent fixtures.

          Rooney’s main appeal is that he’s on set pieces, free kicks and everything and Jose Mourinho says he will contribute in the premier league and that he’s a blessing. This can be interpreted as Mourinho will save his best players for Europe League and play Rooney in premier league matches.

        • BayernFan says:

          I think you should upgrade your SGW players to DGW players with the funds you save doing Kane to Rooney.

      • Brookyboy says:

        Kane to Rooney ??? :cry-lol: You Rooney’s agent or what ?? I just hope we dont actually get people coming on here who take your advice seriously !! laugh

        • Colriles says:

          Maybe he’s in cahoots with Waxys?! 😉

        • BayernFan says:

          Kane has been crap for a while with easy fixtures.. Now that they get harder what indication is there that his from will improve?

          My advice has been taken seriously by many members and it has served them well.

          Perhaps you as well as a few other critics would like advice for how to qualify for the cup?

        • Colriles says:

          Thats a good rank there BF. All in good fun mate. And more of a shot at Waxy’s if we’re being honest….

        • Milburn says:

          Oh Waxys you do amuse me; not intentionally but still.
          Congratulations on apparently qualifying for the cup that 1 time.

        • Brookyboy says:

          That’s my ranking he has screenshot,which shows I didn’t qualify for the cup !! lol I’ll be sure to seek you out next season Bf for advice on how to make sure I don’t miss out again…. laugh

        • inittowinit says:

          I’ll advise on it by all means. You have to get an above average score in one GW – GW17. That’s it. Well done on getting an above average score on a randomly selected week! Some did, some didn’t. That’s a cracking OR from Brooky right there. What’s yours?!

      Brookyboy says:

      Saloba i would consider dumping any United coverage as,has Mourinho has stated,he doesnt care about the league anymore and will rotate.You could dump Bailly and Valencia for Stephens/Yoshida and another Chelsea defender ?

      • saloba11 says:

        Thanks brooky. I think thats what i would do. what do u think of koscielney and clichy? i already have stephens.

        my 2 keepers are cech and ddg and 5 defenders are valencia bailly alonso holgate and stephens.

    Guys would ye recomend doing the following: Ben Davies and Cahill to Monreal and Kompany for a hit? I already have Caballero in goals.
