Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 36 FPL News: Welcome to the double before the DOUBLE! Don’t let the appetizer feel fool you though, this small DGW will be just as vital when it is all said and done in fpl. For those of you who like to drown in misery for more time than you really should, do we have a treat for you. This game-week starts on a Friday and ends the following Wednesday, so plenty of time to second guess yourself while the actual GW drags on and on. The Hammers and Spurs kick it all off with an 8pm fixture. West Ham has won once in their last 10, Tottenham has lost once in their last 10. Hmmmm, I wonder how this is going to go?

On Saturday we get it rolling with a lunch time affair between City and Palace. City needs to win by at least 2 goals to take over third place and Palace with a win 99.9% secures the top flight for next season. 3pm brings us four fixtures. Cherry power tangles with on vacation Stoke, The Clarets play a round of golf with The Baggies, Hull plays the new biggest game ever vs nobody, nobody at all, although some people call them Sunderland. The Foxes and Watford round out the three o’clock games, both teams all but secure their spot in the top league with 1 point, I know what South Americans would do. The last of the Saturday squabbles end with in-need Swansea hosting Everton.

Sunday brings us only two fixtures, but both should be a lot of fun. Liverpool is so close yet so far away to securing a top 4 spot, all they have to do is beat their B team, Southampton. How hard can this be? Really? Just threaten to stop buying their players, job done. In the late game, we see Arsenal and United battle to the death…on twitter and not the players, their fans. Who was better, who was what in the early 2000s. FA cup matters more than the Europa, Europa hands out a Champions League spot, you paid x amount for Pogdab, you still have Wenger, blah blah blah. Meanwhile on the field, United will field whoever is brave enough and Arsenal will play a bunch of overpaid (yeah, even at Arsenal that happens) crybabies who would rather be somewhere else.

Monday brings with it one fixture. Chelsea will inch closer to the title and all but finish relegating Middlesbrough when these two face-off at Stamford Bridge. Hopefully Diego scores one or two before he heads off to China to get even older and live in luxury as he so deserves. Turning on Brazil, asking players from an opposing team to let his team (Rayo Vallecano vs Granada) score and stamping on people rewarded with millions.

Wednesday sees the end of this mini double. As Saints welcome in Arsenal for each of those teams second affair of the GW. Frankly who knows what we will see here. Southampton is just playing out the string and by the time The Gunners arrive at St. Mary’s stadium for all intents and purposes they could be also.

      Andy says:

At this stage I’d take more than six points so that he at least scores more than Aguero did but it ain’t looking good, I guess it can still all change come Wednesday night.

Hey guys, what do u think about a minus 4 hit to bring in pedro and holding for bailly and king. can anyone see a better options? no rush but good to know now incase of any price rises.

      Andy says:

I’m pretty confident that Mustafi will be back in there before the season ends so I wouldn’t bother with Holding.

      • saloba11 says:

would monreal not take gibbs place and mustafi comes in the centre? always been impressed by holding.

        • Andy says:

It’s possible but Mustafi has only ever played as the right handed CB so you’d figure that he’d be straight swapped with Holding rather than Monreal.

        • saloba11 says:

could kos not play left side? is mustafi not experienced enough to play left side? also with him been out for a while he may not start right away . Would be good to ve able to bring him someone in like that. I think its a cert that bailly and valancia wont be starting both games next week.

        • Andy says:

I don’t think it’s worth bringing in a player who’s just as risky at not starting to replace them though as we’ve no idea who’ll start where for Arsenal when they’re all fit. (Mustafi is apparently back in full training)

Guys do we think Holding will keep his place now for Arsenal and is it worth getting him in for either Benalouane or
    Holgate? Cheers guys.

What a spiffing day! Championship winners, 46 points with 7 to play including captain Sanchez ( surely he’ll score soon) and into the top 6k! Don’t want to seem like a braggart but these type of days are rare in my gaff!

    Pancho says:

Okay, early days but need to move quickly on Zaha if I want him out. He has Hull in 37, but Hull will surely be up for the fight. Does that make Zaha more or less appealing? Thinking counter attack.
Thoughts on a combo for these three?

    Hazard as cappo for GW37?

      Andy says:

If they go into GW 37 needing just the one win for the title then I’ll be looking at other options, if they win against WBA and that’s it then that game against Watford could see anyone start, I might go with a Citeh or Arsenal player who’s lineups look like they could be a lot more predictable with them still in the CL spot hunt.

      • Mitro says:

        Andy

If Sanchez blanks I’m seriously tempted to bring in KDB – he’s defo cappo material along with Jesus

        • Andy says:

He’d better not blank he’s my triple (c) smile Strangely I wouldn’t be against though, if Aguero’s still iffy Jesus would be my favorite.

        • Mitro says:

          Andy

I hope he’s bags a Hattie midweek – he’s my cappo and my rival has gone with ozil

It’s a bit dodgy if the league is won by then
