Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 31 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatGW31 is live! And we are back to a full game-week again after last weeks paltry showing of just 5 games. We have a full compliment this week again thankfully with 10 games spanning 2 days. Sunday concludes our game-week with no less than four games, the highlights from a fantasy point of view being the Manchester derby at 4pm and Spurs hoping to push home their title charge against Bournemouth at the same time. Let’s get to it all then and chat our way through GW31…

    Evening all!!

Ended up on 85 and I have closed the gap on my rival to 13 points (it was 76 5 weeks ago) need to re think my strategy and whether to WC in GW33!

87 points. Very happy with that.

Had Bellerin on the bench but you can’t get everything right all the time.

94 this week lads, only beaten by the week Kun got 5 vs Newcastle. If only I had of started Bellerin in place of Kun this week, it’d have been the best of the season but what can you do. Cheers to all as Siggy or Williams more than likely wouldn’t have been in my team if it wasn’t for the chats and debates on here.

What happened to Hart today? Serious injury or just a nose bleed?

Now I just want to apologise for the long post but need some advice for these plans for this team and screenshot isn’t working so have to type out my team. Gap between me and ML leader went from 6 to over 20 today due to a poor cap choice by me. Need all of your help to close that gap again. Should I make the proposed moves and TC in GW34 or just WC/BB in 33/34 then TC in 37?

    Butland (Hennessey)
Van Dijk Kompany Alderwiereld Daniels Huth
    Payet Yaya Mahrez Alli Siggy
    Vardy Aguero Kane

How do these moves sound over the next few weeks?

    Gw 32 = Kompany –> Gabriel (1FT) and Butland –> DDG (-4 hit)
    Gw 33 = Siggy –> Couthino (1FT) and Vardy –> Welbeck (-4 hit)
Gw 34= VVD –> Rojo (1FT) and 1.4 mil itb to take a hit for some else??

    Thoughts?

Hard one, I see you have just 3 DGW players right now? We saw today how important both Alli and Kane are/were. I sold Vardy for Lukaku eying the DGW but we all saw how that has worked out so far. I don’t trust Everton, at all. Anyway. Transfers sound good. You need to find the right balance. I think I will wait till the end of GW 32 before I decide. I see you and me can both field a decent team the next gameweek.

      • MattX says:

I have 5 DGWers currently Raz, Hennessey,Kompany(who will be going),Payet,Yaya and Kun. Yeah that’s why I’m thinking of not playing my WC till GW37 that way I don’t have to worry about not having Kane and Alli. I don’t want to leave it too late though.

        • Raziel says:

Well, I might even bench boost even without using a WC in GW33 in GW34. Anyway, Kompany obviously doesn’t count. I have him but I don’t count him. Missed Hennessey right there. So 4 and 1 ft? Without hits that could take you to 7. Who you plan to TC? It’s a hard one. Like I said, haven’t even deciced for myself yet what to do. I feel like that voter that waits till the last moment. 😉

        • MattX says:

Cheers Raz. I’d probably Welbeck, Arsenals fixtures are fairly easy so if he’s the main striker he should get a few.

      inittowinit says:

Thats a narrow gap Matt, what’s he got left and how does it look like he’s shaping up? This weeks transfer should give you a clue as to his intentions if he’s got a WC left. (This week = last week)

      • MattX says:

Yeah and the guy in 2nd is only a point ahead of me with no chips left or a WC so I don’t count him. The leader has the same chips as me and a fairly similar team except for a few different players in the same team. Wimmer instead of Alderwiereld, Eriksen instead if Alli for example he does have Moreno and Firmino on the bench though. And he hasn’t played his WC yet. So we’re in the same boat but he’s got a 20 point cushion.

        • inittowinit says:

And what was his transfer this week, sorry to get forensic about this but it matters!

        • MattX says:

If it helps it’s no trouble haha. His transfer was Silva to Firmino.

        • NIN says:

Heh heh, CSI inittowinit 😉 Putting fantasy squads under the microscope for many a moon smile

        • inittowinit says:

Which would suggest he’s playing week by week still and therefore probably intending to play his WC in 33. I’d factor that nugget of info into your own planning accordingly.

        • MattX says:

I’d say so too. I think building up as many DGWers as possible and then WCing in GW37 and BBing could work atleast that way I can know how much(hopefully not much) I am behind going into the final stretch.
