Bundesliga Fantasy Football 2023/24
With the Bundesliga also nearing a start we figured we give it a home again that way you Bundesliga managers have a home to discuss bad transfers and terrible captaincy choices.
We won’t be posting a weekly article, but we will keep this article up and though it will disappear from the front of the site, just use the “Hot Topics” link on the right to find your way back to this chat.
We will do our best to post relevant tweets and links to pages that are helpful in fantasy on the chat below so you all have the best possible help.
Bundesliga Fantasy rules changes season- 2024/25
Unlike previous seasons, now you can select only 3 players from each team. That shouldn’t be a great shock as we are well used in the FPL.
New points system goes huge:
80 points for a goal from a forward, 100 for a midfielder and 120 for a defender. Wait, a massive 200 points if somehow your goalkeeper scores. Assists are rewarded from 40 to 150 points, depending on position. Penalty saves get 120, bonuses of 20 for a brace and 60 for a hatrick are added too.
For a first time, dribble earns you 5 points, challenge won, either on the air or the ground, gets 5 points as well. Every successful cross brings 7 points and 1 for every successful pass.
On the flipside:
Deduction of 20 points for a yellow card, get a second one and it’s another – 60. Miss a spot kick is -60, scoring an own goal -80, every foul prompts 5 and a massive -100 for a strait red card.

Yep, I went all out Leipzig but wasn’t to be. Bochum have 19 goals conceded in the first 6 games and now a CS away.
And guirassy gets another hattrick! Not long before Bayern will steal him as usual

Kane with another hatty to make it 12 goals in 9 games
Kimmich got an early red card but then darmstadt got 2 red cards soon after and it was 0-0 at halftime! How then 8-0 happened in 45 mins is quite extraordinary
Bayern are knocked out by 3rd division team Saarbruecken in 2nd round of dfp pokal
Kane was rested but what a shock

After being stunned by a 3rd league team, kane scores a hattrick away to dortmund and thrash them 0-4. Funny
Reg, I went all Leipzig thinking that playing the bottom Mainz will be a walk in the park

Unless of course, decides to move to Germany and take up a dual nationality which is unlikely.

Was a joke. You can’t change once you played 1 minute for a national squad. You are however allowed to play for youth national teams and decide to play for another country. Pretty much all the Dutch Moroccans play for the Netherlands u21. Once the real work starts they join the country they weren’t born in.
Well the f**kwits at talksport seem to think Evan Ferguson should be able to play for England!

I wholeheartedly agree with words three through five of your post.
That’s not the worst idea you’ve ever had Kop! We do need a natural successor to Kane eventually. Essentially, I agree with words 9,10 and 17 there. I’ll make some calls.
I’ve never been very good at counting!
Given my recent FPL scores, I can use my fingers to count!!
No matter how bad United play. They are still 6th and not that far behind 4 and 5.
