Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16 Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16. And we go again… We were promised ‘thick and fast’ in the weeks ahead, and it’s already starting to feel that way, as we have our 3rd GW begin within the space of 8 days, ‘get used to it’ is all we can offer by way of comfort. GW16 is a tad Saturday heavy with no less than 8 games. We kick off with Bournemouth hosting Liverpool in the early one prior to five 3pm games. There are then two evening games beginning with a potential cracker as Chelsea welcome the Pep (rotation) machine at 5.30pm before Leicester take on Spurs in a rare Saturday evening treat at 7.45pm. Sunday only has one game as a result, oddly. This one sees Newcastle play Wolves before Monday finishes us off with Evert...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 15 Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 15. Live Match Chat on a Tuesday? Surprise! Well, we hope not… Live Match Chat on a Friday last time did seem to flummox a few site regulars though. This despite many, many mentions of the early deadline as well as a bloody big countdown timer on site with not only the date on it but an actual countdown timer, who knew. And these are site members who come on and use the facilities. Now this is not to denigrate them at all, we feel for them and hope they do better in future. It’s more to point out that if they are missing such tricks then just imagine how many of your your mini-league rivals, who may pay even less attention, will probably drop similar balls. Lovely! The moral being&...[Read More]

FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW15

FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW15 Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW15. Hmmm, we don’t quite know what to make of that past week. 9 of our 11 posted some sort of return, albeit a modest one. Patricio and Richarlison aside every other player scored 5 or above, which is usually a good sign. The problem was that only one of those actually broke the six point barrier and that was Doherty… with 7. We didn’t even get to see our captain play as Kun took the day off, as did our vice-captain Salah, in an ironically different fashion. All in all then we landed on 55 points which was 6 above the average but still meant a minor red arrow for us as we fell 2k in the overall rankings to 60,606th. Last weeks transfer of Sane in for Lucas Moura was looking promising u...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14 Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14. We are entering a busy FPL week with no less than 3 game-weeks covering the next 10 days. Game-week 14 kicks off tonight with a visit across the Severn for Wolves – Cardiff will be sniffing blood after watching Huddersfield tame Nuno’s pups last week. Saturday then brings us six matches – first up we have five 3pm kick-offs as Palace host Burnley, Brighton go to Huddersfield, Leicester welcome Watford, Bournemouth try and stop Pep’s rampant machine and Arnie and his Hammers limp up to Newcastle. The evening match sees Jose coming up against someone worse off than himself as United travel to Southampton. Sunday sees our final three matches of GW14 before thoughts tur...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 13

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 13 Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 13. We’re back to live FPL and fantasy action, finally. You’ve had two full weeks to mull over your key transfer and captain decisions, which is sometimes a good thing, but sometimes not! Whatever you landed on it’s time to see if it was worth the wait and there’s a fair chance that many of your questions will be answered straight away as we begin with a bumper bunch at 3pm with no less than six games going at once. It almost feels nostalgic. The six said games see Brighton host Leicester with Dunk hoping for 3 in 3, Everton hoping Warnock is in his usual laissez-faire mood, Fulham hoping Ranieri has packed his magic lamp against Hughes’ Saints, Woy hoping that Jo...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12 Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12. We have a fairly succinct game-week before we all wander off aimlessly into yet another unwanted international break. 10 games over 2 days begins on Saturday at lunch-time as Cardiff host Brighton, sounds like a thriller. We jump then to four 3pm games and we shall be honest here, we aren’t expecting the most action packed Saturday afternoon ever! Huddersfield look to tame Arnie and co, and probably will, to a 0-0 or something similar. Newcastle vs Bournemouth continues the fun, yep that ones got a low score written all over it too. Saints v Watford next, bet against another 0-0 anyone?! Leicester do have what will be sure to be an emotional occasion against Burnley at home, but as a...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11 Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11. We are back with a Saturday lunchtime kick-off as Bournemouth attempt to keep up their recent good form and make Jose even more miserable and negative, if that is indeed possible. We then have just four games at 3pm ahead of an extended and unusual evening program. At 3pm we have Cardiff hosting Leicester in what will be an emotion filled occasion, Everton will be looking to get back to winning ways with a home game against traditionally poor travellers Brighton, Newcastle will be seeking, and probably failing to get, their first win against a more than vibrant Watford and West Ham will have the red carpet out for Joe Hart. Saturday evening is a husband’s delight and a wife’s n...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10 Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10. No early deadlines this week – not even a Saturday lunchtime kick-off. We don’t get started until 3pm on Saturday. Ah the good old days are back. Well for a week anyway. We have five 3pm matches to get us under way, some more exciting than others it has to be said. Brighton vs Wolves and Southampton vs Newcastle have the capability to send the most die-hard footy fan to sleep. Liverpool vs Cardiff will have most of us expecting to need a calculator to total our FPL points, while Bournemouth will be licking their lips at the thought of an afternoon’s shooting practice vs Fulham. Watford vs Huddersfield complete the quintet. The evening match sees the Hammers & Arnie limp up to Le...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9 Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9. And so we go again, for about 4 weeks anyway, before the next absolutely essential international break interrupts us all once more. You can probably guess that we rather side with Jurgen Klopp and his view that ‘the Nations Cup is the most senseless competition in the world of football’. Let’s just hope that none, or at least not many, of your precious FPL assets came to any harm in their pursuit of the ‘glory’ of a few Nations Cup points this past week or so. Back we are though and we start with a cracker as Jose goes back to The Bridge on Saturday lunchtime, an occasion which is always notable, but probably more so when he’s so under the cosh, not to men...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 8

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 8 Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 8. It’s an early start this GW with a Friday kick-off and as ever with these things we hope you don’t join us for Live Match Chat with that sinking feeling of ‘why on earth have they posted Live Match Chat on a Friday night…’. And if you do (looking at you Raz!), don’t say we didn’t try to remind you as it was posted on each and every article this week at some point. Whether you made it in tact or not let’s crack on with the games. Brighton have the early pleasure of a very much in-form West Ham coming to town on Friday evening. Saturday then sees us with five 3pm games beginning with a resurgent Burnley hoping to build on momentum at home to a st...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 7

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 7 Gameweek 7 gets going with a lunch time affair. The slowly improving Hammers take on the slowly deteriorating Man United. That fixture is followed by six 3pm matches. Arsenal take on Watford, Everton tangle with Fulham, Huddersfield hands over 3 points to Spurs, City put 5 past Brighton, Toon welcome in Leicester and Wolves look to impress again vs Saints. All them fixtures are just the appetisers though, for the match of the day. The late game sees Chelsea welcome in top of the league Liverpool in what we all hope will be a back and fourth battle. Should be interesting all that attacking talent going up against each other. Salah vs Hazard, also Mane vs Hazard and if that wasn’t enough, Firmino vs Hazard. All the fun didn’t end on Sat...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 6

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 6 With five of the big boys, and also Arsenal, having been on European duty this week we may be about the hear the dreaded ‘R’ word a number of times over the next few days as the team-sheets roll in. Certain key personnel such as Hazard were given the week off, other ones played (relatively poorly) and then proceeded to wander around with a pack of Lemsip in their hand afterwards to further fuel speculation as to their possible involvement. All will be revealed in due course though… Watford pitch up at Fulham to kick us off on Saturday lunch-time to test their strong arm tactics against the strongest of arms in the shape of Mitrovic. Expect fireworks. New FPL favourite Fraser then gets a taste of real Northern ‘hospitality&...[Read More]
