Fantasy Football 247 Site Team News Gameweek 35

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team News Gameweek 35 All White (with an orange hue) on the night Welcome to FF247 Site Team DGW35 DGW34 was a game week filled with high variance. Some teams reaped the rewards (with 219pts the highest recorded) and some teams suffered badly. We landed somewhere in the middle. Despite 95pts being some 19pts over the weekly average (76pts) we still suffered our 4th red arrow on the bounce. Managers playing the Free Hit chip were the ultimate winners, and whilst that success still hinged on which players they chose, for many, players like Mateta, White and Odegarad delivered huge double-digit scores that saw seismic shifts across mini-leagues and overall rankings. Throw in injuries to key single-game week players like Palmer and Haaland and things just seemed to go...[Read More]

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Double Gameweek 34

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Double Gameweek 34 The Haves and The Have Nots Welcome to FF247 Site Team for DOUBLE GAMEWEEK 34 (woop and other such exclamations of joy). Today’s title refers to the match at Stamford Bridge this past Monday evening. No we’re not talking about Madueke and Jackson when it comes to penalties, rather those who have Cole Palmer – Young Player of The Year (Trademark) in their FPL team and those who, sadly for them, don’t. 26 (TWENTY SIX – for those of the videprinter lexicon) FPL points in one match is sensational. Taking his season to an immense 208 FPL points which can only be claimed to be equalled (by Ollie Watkins) and his 20 league goals can only be matched, not beaten, by one player – Erling Haaland. We had the Chelsea ...[Read More]

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team News Gameweek 33

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team News Gameweek 33 The rollercoaster ride continues Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW33 Our yo-yo season continues as another bad week sees us with our second red arrow on the bounce. 50 points was sadly 6 below the average and we slipped from 1337 to 3145. At such a high overall rank these frequent highs and lows seem to come with the territory, but rather than bring us down, the red arrows only serve to make the green arrows more pleasing. With Foden failing to make it off the City bench, we were reliant on Zabarnyi off our bench, sadly his 1-point return was not the only one in our back line with both Virgil and Konsa matching the Cherries centre half. Petrovic, Muniz and Solanke didn’t do much better with 2-a-piece. Thankfully our midfield trio all did relative...[Read More]

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 32

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 32 Mo’ than one way to skin a cat Welcome to FF247 Site Team Gameweek 32 Going for the league and home to Sheffield United in a plum game to halve the goal difference at least? If there was ever an obvious captaincy choice, Mo Salah was IT. Heck! We’d have gone Triple Captain had we still had it. Alas, rubbish and off before 60 mins in the huff. Gotta love it. Luckily for us (we are quite lucky this season), we had the young team to call upon – Phil Foden & Cole Palmer – weighing in with 20 points EACH. Little legends. England for the Euros etc etc…. William Saliba and Illia Zabarnyi with 7 points each and that’s all she wrote. We scored 63 points this gameweek and a healthy 17 points above the average but we ...[Read More]

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team News Gameweek 31

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team News Gameweek 31 No Salah, no Son, no problem Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW31 I wasn’t going to write about which player scored us what points this week. However, somebody else beat me to the article so here it is: It was heaven and hell at the back this week – Konsa did the heavy lifting with a mighty 15 points but Petrovic, VVD and Zabarnyi (whooo?!) all came up with just another 5 between them. Saliba smiled on from the bench with 7 of his own. Captain Palmer was our star man with 30, with Bowen pulling in 10. Foden and Saka had a literal stalemate with just the 3 each. Up top Solanke got us his now customary goal for 7, but Haaland and Watkins stayed quiet with 2 & 1 respectively. We smashed the average of 47 with 76 of our own. This meant a gr...[Read More]

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 30

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 30 Free sHit Welcome to FF247 Site Team Gameweek 30 As we come to the end of an international break – when we found out that England won’t win the Euros with that defence, where Endrick is the only 17-year-old to do anything (ever), where Ukraine, Poland (sorry Wales) and Georgia book their spots for the summer and Scotland would be as well to hand theirs back – we at last have some FPL to get stuck back into. We begin by reviewing the previous week and Gameweek 29, which we kind of had wiped from the memory. Well …. we were above the average. By just three points, and that average was 12 (T W E L V E ). So unsurprisingly it was a red arrow leading into Gameweek 30. We drop 482 places to 2692 overall. It’s our second con...[Read More]
