Fantasy Football Inside The Mind Of An FPL Player Gameweek 19 We had a whole raft of articles planned this week but given the current climate / situation we decided to sit on our hands a bit, rather understandably. As a result we now have a bumper combo one coming your way later in the week as we will somehow attempt to combine a Christmassy Tips article with the Site Team playing a Wildcard, with Predicted Line-Ups tagged on the end of it. Wish us luck, etc. In the meantime we were going to do a Captains article but trying to stretch the few short words ‘Salah plays Leeds’ into 1000+ was beyond even us. Instead we have decided to fill the gap with one of our newer additions, one which seems to have proved to be very popular since we introduced it a few months back. If you have...[Read More]
Site Team & Predicted Line-ups Gameweek 18 Fantasy 5-a-side Our GW17 Result… Amidst the carnage that was GW17 we managed to field 9 players and came out a bit bruised and battered with just 51 points and with another red arrow through our hearts, as we plummeted 40k in rank to 256,951st. But we still had some decent performances within that via goals from Trent, Salah (c), Jota and Death Rowe and a clean sheet from White. Rudiger, Raphinha and Antonio all got two, whilst Ayling rather unhelpfully came off the bench to add a -1. We have £0.9m in the bank and 2 free transfers to use ahead of GW18. Let’s go see what was decided…. Our GW18 Transfer(s) All things considered we aren’t in that bad a shape this week. That’s if you take out the absence of any fit or available goalkeeper ...[Read More]
FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line-ups Gameweek 17 Hmmmmm…. It really is all or nothing for us at the moment. We’ve now had, since the season started, four green arrows in a row, then three red, four green and now four red again. Based on this we are due four green now. We say, in hope more than expectation… As for this latest one it wasn’t a disaster by any means, we garnered 62 points, a few above the average, but (not) enough to see us slip about 30k down to an overall rank of 215,171st. Just as well our ‘premium’ defenders turned up as they got exactly half of our points between them. Ironically, that included a 6 from White off the bench. You’d have to have read last week’s article to appreciate why that’s ironic though. Captain Salah added 16, Raphinha got us 7 and the rest ...[Read More]
