Negotiating DGW25 and Blank GW26 Part 1 A big(ish) DGW? All aboard! Choo, choo, etc… This one comes with a big caveat though; it is followed by BGW26. B being for Blank, not Bad, although either could be equally applied. Either way, it makes both very difficult to negotiate: Do you go all in on 25 and maximise its potential points? Do you do so knowing that you will simply leave a mess to contend with in 26? Do you find a fine balance instead? Well from the feast of three game weeks over a thirteen-day period, we go to a famine of just two game weeks throughout the whole of January due to the FA Cup 3rd and 4th Rounds and a Winter break scheduled over a two-week period during game week 21!!! There is further disruption to our squads due to players missing for the African Cup of Nations (13th January 24 – 11th February 24) and the Asia Cup (12th January 24 – 10th February 24). The average for GW15 was 35, and it was 18 for GW16. 18!!! It does however stand that when everybody does poorly then it is of course all relative. But that doesn’t make it particularly exciting now, does it! Hopefully all that was just a blip and we start seeing some more action over the coming weeks.
