I was going to carry out some research as NIN & Init did for their excellent Fixtures article but I’m far too lazy for that, so instead I’ll just waffle on for a few more sentences! FPL has shown some signs of late that it is set to become a little interesting again as the template begins to crumble, although another is bound to form soon. A Look at the Transfer Market Game-week 21 What does FF247 do when they have too many days between game-weeks? Well, they trot me out, usually it is with a Grab, Avoid or Bore off, but seeing as there was one last week, we decided to take a different road. Has Mito gone serious? Hell no! Grab, Avoid or Bore off! Welcome to another installment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2015-16 season. As always we will tackle some of the most unimportant questions in FPL and in life in general. The 3 Amigos are back for another round of very difficult questioning and the occasional FPL question. You were in good hands as Cookie proved last week when he tipped Leicester’s Danny Simpson. Many laughed at our Cookie but he was to have the last laugh as Simpson pitched in with 10pts last week. I suspect many of us shared such a reaction last Saturday afternoon when we checked the results and saw that Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez had scored a hat-trick. We then realised that the Algerian is currently FPL’s most popular player and features in over 60% of teams. This meant that his points were unlikely to have a significant impact on our rankings, unless you were smart enough to have captained him. Kops Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 15 With Christmas now just a little more than three weeks away we expect many of you are preparing to get in the festive spirit but a word of warning to you all, now is not the time to take your eye off the ball when it comes to your fantasy team. Although given some of our rankings some of us have clearly not had our eye on the ball since August! For much of the season I suspect many of us have been happy enough to play with a squad of 14 or even 13 players but as we move towards the busy festive period I would advise everyone to ensure that they have a squad of players who are likely to feature on a regular basis as we will inevitably have to deal with players picking up injuries while certain managers are likely to rotate certain players. Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 12 Back in the early days of fantasy football the internet was in it’s infancy and actually the most popular games were newspaper led and you had to fill in a form, cut it out, send it off, hope it arrived and then wait for Monday’s edition to see how your team fared.
