Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW12

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW12 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW12. I think you will all join me in saying “Thank God for no more Internationals until March!” Boy, do I hate those things! Now we have a solid 13 gameweeks without any breaks! That’s right we are about to enter the silly season! H&L is about to embark on the annual journey of double or triple result articles, keeping you all in suspense at times and just making sure you are all kept on your toes. This is the time where the men are separated from the boys (or women from girls… we do not discriminate here in the H&L towers) GW11 which feels so long ago now saw some shock results! Spurs went full Spursy and lost 1-2 against Ipswich which was the latter’s first win...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW11

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW11 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW11 First off some housekeeping from our resident number crunch James Simmo – ‘Also, I happened to notice that MBD had commented about GW8 points being missed out, and I’ve corrected for that. Feel free to mention it in the main article or first comment underneath’. So there you go! Right, back to results. Sarri-ball and RafflesHotspur hit 13pts, it was good, but not good enough, they’ll have to settle for third place this week. IvanTheTerrible, Leprechaun and pjlill went 1pt better with 14pts and take second place. In first it was a three-way tie on 15pts for Albox, inittowinit, GoalMachine. We went to the FGS tie-breaker. The drama. GoalMachine drops out with their predi...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW10

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW10 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW10 I (Matt) switched off from FPL in GW9 and THANK GOD I DID! The FPL Gods laughed in my face and did everything I didn’t want. Thankfully though here at H&L we aren’t as devastating and stick to the clear cut results. There were some big results too in GW9. West Ham have ruined everyone’s fun by getting Ten Hag sacked after the Hammers won 2-1. Man City may have won but Haaland largely failed his TC backers. Arsenal and Liverpool played out a 2-2 draw. This led to plenty of points, twists and turns for Harry and Lloyd. We had 5 players get double digit scores. 2 managers on 10 points, 2 managers on 11 points and 1 singular winner to claim it all on 12 points. Sitting tied for 2...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW9

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW9 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW9. I’m constantly amazed at just how bad I am at this prediction lark, whilst I’m continually impressed by just how some of you lot do it! Whilst I managed a paltry 5pts, it was a much more competitive field at the top of the table. With 11pts our very own Gear takes third, he was pipped at the post by WhoIsRonaldo, redmecca and hammersfan who all managed 12pts. However out in front was pjlill, 13pts was enough to secure this week’s top spot. Special mention to redmecca who was the only manager to correctly guess this week’s FGS. Many congratulations to pjlill! Please email us here: contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize. Overall League Table THIS WEEK’S COMPE...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW8

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW8 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW8. For many, GW7 was a low-scoring affair with very little excitement. 35 of the 48 managers who got their predictions in, failed to score more than 6pts, the other 13 managers who did manage more, all scored similarly, meaning its a packed podium at every level! In Third we have Booty01, Terminators, Albox, sweetbluetoffee, GoalMachine, Goldilocks, Shrivathsa who all managed 7pts, they sit just behind Gear and Tekno-kun who managed 8pts and claim second. Leading the pack with a game-week winning score of 9pts we have eplnoob. farao69, theswirly and bundeena bunnies. However, eplnoob and farao69 were the only two managers to guess the FGS correctly, and because they were both 9 minutes out from the act...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW7

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW7 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW7 With a brace of 4-2s (Arsenal and Chelsea), an away win by 3 goals for Spurs and the unexpected away win by Fulham, the scores were predictably low. For most people. Indeed, bar this week’s winner, more than half the league finished below 5pts. In third place this week we have Albox with a lofty 8pts, in second, it was shared, with both Tenno-Kun and jon9898 both hitting 9pts, but way out in front our very own IvanTheTerrible somehow managed a not so unlucky 13pts and with it, this week’s top spot. Nice. Many congratulations to Ivan! Please email us here: contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize. Overall League Table THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be muc...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW6

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW6 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW6 Last week we had some technical difficulties so no results for you lot! We are back up and running at full speed this week so you get not one but two results to feast your eyes on. In GW4, there wasn’t a single player who correctly guessed that De Ligt would be the first goal scorer against Southampton. That meant there wasn’t many who earned a double digit score but we still had 9 who got over 10 points. Tied for 3rd place was Shrivatsha and Gear on 11 points. 2nd place was Ivan the Terrible who just snuck ahead on 12 points but out on their own with a two point lead was the one with all the luck, Leprechaun on 14 points. In GW5, we had a good few players get above 10 points with only 4 ...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW5

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW5 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW5 Due to technical difficulties from our numbers man, we’re sadly unable to bring you any results this week. Fingers cross we can resolve that situation and post up a couple of week’s worth next week. (No pressure James Simmo). THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler: • Correct Score —> 3 points; • Correct Result —> 1 point; and • Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points. To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself! Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or just 1 point for a C...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW4

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW4 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW4 Straight into this week’s winner which saw Ko NAY pull off an exact replica of GW2 with 14 + 5 points to secure a historic pair of back-to-back wins! Wow! In Second place with a decent 16 points was my fellow contributor Gear and yours truly (Rosco), and in third with 15 points was sweetbluetoffee. All of this week’s winners correctly guessed the FGS along with 16 others. Well played everyone!! Many congratulations to Ko Nay! Please email us here: contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize. Overall League Table THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler: • Correct Score —> 3 points; • Correct Result —> 1 point; and • Correct First Goalsco...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW3

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW3 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW3. Another week in the books and one that saw plenty goals in GW2. Thankfully we still haven’t witnessed a 0-0 result this season and in fact the only draw of the gameweek was the 1-1 draw of Bournemouth and Newcastle, and even that had a winner controversially ruled out! It was a case of copy and paste for Liverpool and Arsenal as they ran out 2-0 winners once more in their respective games. There were big wins for Man City, Spurs and Chelsea with 4-1, 4-0 and 2-6 wins. Not only were there plenty goals in the league there was plenty points in H&L with 24 managers getting double digit points out of the 54 participants. Of those 54, 12 got the FGS correct this week as Danny Welbeck poked home...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW2

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW2 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW2. We are back and had some nice results in GW1. No massive shocks. Liverpool won easily, Haaland did what he usually does and scored to help City win over Chelsea. Spurs ended the gameweek by being properly roasted by the veteran Jamie Vardy who subtlety reminded them they have won nothing! We had a great turn out of 52 entries in GW1 and a wide spread of results ranging from 1 pt to the winning 15 pts. That is fantastic to see and it’s not too late to join now for the overall table! Nobody correctly guessed that new boy Joshua Zirkzee would be the FGS in GW1 but one sole man deserves a shout out, Swirly, was only one minute away from the correct time but did not get the name right. Now onto the...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW1

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW1 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW1 I’ll be honest, due to work commitments, I’ve not had much time in recent months to even think about the new season. My FPL side remains on ‘auto-pick’ but with just a week till the new season begins, I thought I’d best pull my finger out and do something! So H&L wins as my first 2024/25 season contribution. Init already stuck the fixtures in for me, so I’m all out of excuses so here we are! I always seem to lose count, but this is either our 7th season of the competition or maybe the 8th. Who knows! I won last season’s overall league table despite never actually winning a single weekly prize, so clearly anything can happen! I guess all that is left to s...[Read More]
