Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW7.
GW6 was another weekend where the Premier League seemed determined to make life as difficult as possible for anyone foolish enough to try predicting it. Chelsea smashed Bournemouth 5–1, Man City went to Anfield and beat Liverpool 3–0, while Coventry casually put four past Newcastle in a 4–1 win. Palace also beat Forest 3–1, while Aston Villa v Brentford and Hull v Everton both finished 2–2. Apparently straightforward score lines were once again strictly optional.
Albox takes the honours in GW6 with an excellent 15 points, finishing four clear of AJW on 11. mahelmy, redmecca, Rosco and Terminators all share third place with 9 points.
Albox’s winning score was helped by two exact predictions — Arsenal 2–1 Leeds and Ipswich 2–1 Fulham — along with several correct results. Most importantly, Albox was also the only player in the entire competition to correctly back Calafiori as the First Goalscorer, adding the five-point bonus and turning a good week into a comfortable victory.
AJW deserves an honourable mention for an impressive 11 points, including exact predictions of Arsenal 2–1 Leeds and Aston Villa 2–2 Brentford, while Terminators also found two exact scores with Sunderland 0–2 Brighton and Man Utd 1–1 Spurs.
Calafiori scored the first goal of the Gameweek in the 62nd minute. Albox’s 20th-minute prediction may have been some distance away, but with nobody else selecting him, there was thankfully no need to dust off the tie-break calculator!

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler:
• Correct Score —> 3 points;
• Correct Result —> 1 point; and
• Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points.
To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself!
Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or just 1 point for a Correct Result, and these are never added together for a 4-point score.
Tie-Breaker: in the event of 2+ entrants being tied as winners for the Gameweek, the overall winner of the weekly prize will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction for the time at which the first goal of the Gameweek will be scored. Nearest the pin wins!

Once all the matches have been played, we’ll calculate the scores, and the winner(s) will be announced in the following Gameweek’s competition article: each winner will walk away with an FF247-branded prize..
