Harry & Lloyd’s Predictions Competition

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6 GW5 was a difficult one for predictions and so it proved with PM winning it with just 9 pts with what is probably the lowest score ever for a victor. (It probably isn’t, but we couldn’t be bothered to check!) Jamie MC, Giggy and our own Rosco deserve honorable mentions with 8 pts. Sweetbluetoffee’s 7 pts were enough to achieve the summit and is now our new leader. And so; Many Congratulations to PM. Please email us here; contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize. THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… Scoring couldn’t be simpler: Correct Score = 3 points Correct result = 1 point Correct First Goalscorer of the game-week = (Points are awarded on an ‘either/or...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5. All things were normal going into the international break with Liverpool and City grabbing big wins and the rest of the league dropping points! Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs all grabbed a single point with the NLD being a 2-2 draw, Man Utd drawing 1-1 with Southampton and Chelsea continuing the Frank Lampard story with yet another week without a win by drawing 2-2 with newly promoted side Sheffield Utd. These were the biggest results over the weekend with the rest not being too much of a surprise. The lack of surprise saw a high score in Harry and Lloyd’s shop with Silvers and LittleRedLacazette both in first place on 17 points. Silvers being there thanks to predicting th...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW4

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW4 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW4. Last weekend saw some shocks and upsets with two of the big boys losing as Man United went down 2-1 to Palace and Spurs lost 1-0 to Newcastle. These results were definitely not on the cards with pretty much everyone predicting the games going the other way. It was a first Premier League win for Chelsea manager and legend Frank Lampard after his team came out on top in the 3-2 win over Norwich. There was regular service from Liverpool and Man City as both ran out 3-1 victors over Arsenal and Bournemouth. These results saw a fairly low scoring week with no one getting the first goalscorer correct and only 3 people getting into double-digit points. In first place this week was Frenchie ...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW3

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW3 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW3. Last week saw the FPL world return to normal and remind us all just how much of a cruel mistress she really is! There was lots of goals scored with only two teams keeping a clean sheet. Those teams being Everton and Sheffield United, with both winning by a scoreline of 1-0. Liverpool managed to sneak past Southampton after Adrian showed just why he is a really just a reserve goalkeeper by gifting Danny Ings a goal. Arsenal were the only other big team to pick up all three points by getting a 2-1 win over Burnley to kick off GW2. The other top teams Chelsea, Man United, City and Spurs all ended their games with a single point. Lacazette was the first goalscorer this week and was corre...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW2

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW2 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW2. If there is one thing predictable about the Premier League it’s that it’s that it’s not that predictable, unless of course, your name is DenPerryDidIt in which case it is. Make sense? No me either. What was predictable, was that Liverpool would concede when so many of us were starting the season rocking double pool at the back, that Man City would smash a load of goals past the Hammers and that Harry Kane would score in August – although that one was looking iffy for a while there. What was unpredictable was that Man Utd would destroy Frank Lampard’s Chelsea so convincingly, even the most Die-hard Red Devil could not have hoped for such as scoreline. Els...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW1

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW1 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW1. It’s been a long summer, but like FPL we’re back for what will be our third season of our Premier League Predictions competition. Last season more than 100 of you took part and we’d like to thank each and every one of you for your efforts. This year, much like last, the goal will be to see if you have what it takes to beat DenPerryDidIt. Whilst we still have no idea where the name comes from, there’s no denying that DenPerry knows a thing or two when it comes to predicting results in the Premier League. To win the competition once is tough, but to do it twice on the bounce shows the type of skill set that would have bookies up and down the country quaking in their boots. If you’ve played before you ...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s 2018/19 Season Wrap Up and European Final Predictions

Harry and Lloyd’s 2018/19 Season Wrap Up and European Final Predictions Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s 2018/19 Season Wrap Up and European Final Predictions. Well this past weekend finally saw the culmination to what has been a truly amazing title race as Liverpool’s 2-0 win was not enough to overtake City as they thumped four past Brighton in a 4-1 win which then saw Chris Houghton sacked for reasons beyond the sane person. I’m sure we will all join in congrats to City’s three fans 😉 While all eyes were on the two best teams in the North of England, the neighbours had a mixed bag with Everton getting a decent draw against Spurs and United losing 2-0 to Cardiff… 2-0… to a relegated team… have the wheels fallen off yet? There was a very tasty lo...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW38

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW38 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW38. The final game-week of the FPL season is finally here, bringing to a close another season of predictions here at Harry and Lloyd’s. What started as a way to pass the time in a long winter game-week last season, has turned into a fully functioning ongoing affair with over 100 participants and we salute each and every one of you! We head into ‘Championship Sunday’ with the majority of the Premier league’s key battles already decided, but who would bet against one final twist in what’s been quite a week for football with season-defining moments from Manchester City, Liverpool and now Tottenham in the last 3 days! Over here, the chances of last-minute drama seem unlikely....[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW37

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW37 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW37. Cutting straight to the chase last week’s winner was SherLock who took the prize of the coveted FF247 T-shirt with 13 points. Sweetbluetoffee, Red Robbo and Eresh were the nearly boys and runners up with 12 points. Nobody was clever enough to predict Keita would open the scoring so no 1st goal scorer points were awarded this week. And so; Many Congratulations to SherLock. Please email us here; contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize. THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… Scoring couldn’t be simpler: Correct Score = 3 points Correct result = 1 point Correct First Goalscorer of the game-week = 5pts (Points are awarded on an ‘either/or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a C...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW36

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW36 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW36. A lot of games should theoretically mean a  high scoring game-week but just 13pts was enough to win so I can only presume that we had a lot of unexpected results this week. Pick of those unexpected results was Palace’s 2-3 victory at the Emirates and then just days later the Gunners slumped to their second defeat of the GW away to Wolves. Ouch. Like Arsenal, Manchester United also suffered back-to-back defeats, the 0-2 at home to City was expected, the 4-0 away to Everton maybe not so much. Onto the winners. I mentioned that it took just 13pts to take victory this GW but someone still had to do it. That person was Red Robbo, pipping League leader DenPerryDidIt, The Padster, Sky blue stan, Al...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW35

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW35 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW35. We are coming into the end of the season now and all the games mean something! Cardiff got some valuable points in their bid for survival and have more chances as one of the many teams in this week’s massive DGW. If you are chasing ML glory, OR rank or vying for a place at the top of our illustrious competition then this week is extremely important. We need all sorts of points from our players and also our predictions. Last weeks predictions was much like the race for the Premier League as we had lots of twists and turns. It was a three-way tie for first as Cookie, Zed Lepellin and DMC (he cheated!) all got 12 points. Cookie managed to nick the win by coming from behind with his correct pred...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW34

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW34 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW34. Cutting straight to the chase Zed Leppelin is our winner this week with (a lowly!) 9 pts. Mahelmy, Offalymartin and Silvers came close with 7 each in what was seemingly a difficult to predict week. Nobody nailed the 1st goalscorer (not even Zed himself who is a Saints fan). Things are heating up at the top with Mahelmy overlapping Smash for 2nd spot while all in the top 5 are looking to push it to the end. On a side note Raz is now on 19 pts and has left the last column of the table already, more shame on those below him as he’s only played twice! And so; Many Congratulations to our winner Zed Leppelin. Please email us on contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize. THIS WEEK’...[Read More]
