Harry and Lloyd's Fantasy Predictions GW15
Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW14 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW14 26/55 correctly guessed Haaland as last week’s first goal scorer and it was those additional 5pts that ultimately decided if you made the winners podium. bundeena bunnies, No1likesus, Ko NAY, Mahelmy and M-Salah all scored 6pts in their regular predictions and with the 5pts from correctly predicting FGS their 11pt total sees them share third place on this week’s podium. Yours truly (Rosco) went one better with 12pts and I take second spot falling just 1pt short of RafflesHotspur who takes this weeks number one placing with 13pts Special mentions to Swirly and Den Perry Did It, who along with myself have now correctly guessed 7/13 FGS! Many congratulations to RafflesHotsp...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW13 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW13 It’s back! At last. Before diving in, though, let’s reflect on the GW12 H&L results. There were plenty of goals — a mere 3/20 teams keeping clean sheets — and Exact Scores were hard to come by… certainly for most. The weekend’s FGS was Brennan Johnson (in the 3rd minute) and just one person, Nyk, predicted that name! Great shout. Unfortunately for Nyk, their 11 total points (incl. 5 extra points) were matched by our own Gallant Pioneer, who was much closer to the timing of Brennan’s opener and thus pipped Nyk in the GW12 competition. Remarkably, however, TGP and Nyk were both completely overshadowed by the tremendous effort from RafflesHotspur: the...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12. Well…. that was the Gameweek from hell. It shall go down in history but the less said about it the better. For that reason, we will just skip all the foreplay and go straight in. Lots of people got the FGS correct and thats pretty much all that people for correct as we only had 4 managers break double digits. In 3rd place, we had a tie on 10 points between PM and Mahelmy. In 2nd place, on their own was M-Salah with 11 points but coming out on top with 13 points, for what I believe is their first win, is Daisy2002! Many congratulations to Daisy2002. Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW11 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW11. We had a treble-treble in the H&L offices this week as we had 9 managers finish with double digit scores. Three of them finished third, three of them finished second and three of them finished first. I feel like Bob Dorough “Three is a magic number, yes it is, it’s a magic number” No one got the magic FGS as it was an own goal turned into their own net by Joel Ward if someone had predicted that I (Matt) would have petitioned for them to just be given as many points as they wanted! We saw some pretty obvious results such as wins for Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool. City got the 3 points against their city rivals, Man United in a 0-3 thumping. The biggest shock of...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW10 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW10 There were some bumper scores this game week with no less than 48/58 managers hitting double-digits, along with 42 of you correctly predicting Mo Salah as this week’s first goal scorer. The fixtures that most seemed to nail were Liverpool’s 2-0 win in the Merseyside Derby, City’s 2-1 win over Brighton and Manchester United 1-2 win away to the Blades. Many correctly predicted wins for Newcastle and Villa but nobody predicted the 4 goals the two home sides would score into the bargain. Special shoutouts to WhoIsRonaldo and Jamie Mc who both hit 18pts and still managed to fall short of the top 3 scorers! In third its little old me (Rosco), I managed 19pts, enough to w...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW9 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW9. Yet another international break, yet another Ireland loss. The last few days have been terrible for the teams I support. My GAA club lost the county final by a single point, Ireland lost 2-0 to Greece (we expected that) but Irish hearts were broken in one of the best rugby games I’ve seen after the All Blacks proved why they are the best in history. I don’t even want to know how the Gibraltar match will finish, but if Evan Ferguson and co. can’t win, all their PL employers should dock £10,000 from their wages. Grrrr… We ended GW8 with Chelsea finally getting a win, Liverpool drawing with Brighton and the student becoming the master as Arsenal finally beat Man ...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW8 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW8 It was a run-of-the-mill game week for the most part with 8/10 games producing no more than 2 goals for any one team. 3 2-0 results and 3 2-1’s produced a decent points turnout for many, and whilst we had a lot of you correctly guess this week’s first goal scorer (Ollie Watkins) unsurprisingly nobody was on the money with a 6-1 score prediction! It’s been a while since we had such a clear-cut week of winners. In third with 16pts we have mahelmy, M-Salah took second with a mighty 19pts but topping even that we have PM with a spectacular 20pts. All 3 managers correctly went with Ollie Watkins for FGS, of which no less than 26 of you achieved this week! Many congratulat...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW7 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW7. Last weekend didn’t really see any shocks and most teams followed the status quo. Wins for Liverpool, Man United and Man City aren’t out of the ordinary. Luton grabbing a 1-1 draw vs Wolves was good for them. An exciting draw in the NLD saw 4 goals spread between Arsenal and Spurs. Chelsea continued their poor form by losing once again to Villa. With fixtures going as most people would have guessed we saw 19 managers get double digit hauls. A two-way tie for 3rd and a two-way tie for 1st place this week saw things being very close. In fact this week’s winner was only 1 minute out from the FGS time. In 3rd place were Booty01 and RafflesHotspur on 14 points. Tied for ...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6 Last week Matt highlighted the number of goals scored (41) in a high-scoring game week. By contrast, GW5 was the lowest-scoring week of the season thus far with just 24 goals scored. Strangely it only produced 5 clean sheets but it was a good week for those of you who like to be a little more reserved with your predictions. And so it is that we find a jam-packed podium with no less than 17 of you making it into the top three. Budge up we’re going to need to create a little more room! In third place with 11pts we have chins, Garra_13, Gear, RafflesHotspur, turbo, Shrivathsa. A similar story in second place with 12pts we have inittowinit, Nyk, The Padster, Sarri-ball, SherLock. Fu...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5. We were treated to a lot of goals in GW4; 41 in total across the 10 games. There were at least 3 goals scored in every game barring the 0-1 win for Forest over Chelsea. This accounts for yet another week of bumper scores with 21 managers hitting 10+pts. 25 of you also correctly guessed the FGS (Bowen against Luton). It wasn’t needed to separate the top spot this week, but always good to get those extra 5pts on the board! In 3rd place, we had a three-way tie with Qwkliduzzit, Tekno-Kun and Booty01 all ending on 13pts. Padster had second place all to himself with a very respectable 14 but it was not enough to beat our very own Loud Atlas from taking this week’s prize with a...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW4 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW4. A weekend of comebacks and late goals saw some great matches and tight results. This happened both in real life and in H&L! Once more over 14 managers got double digit scores. In fact, we have a three-way tie for first place! Erry Ben Canaan, Rein and BhandrexBhajiegoer all getting a brilliant 16 points! All ended up with a correct FGS so that didn’t split them. We went down to time difference, Erry did not choose a minute, Rein was 11 minutes off but Bhandrex was just 2 minutes off! Many congratulations to BhandrexBhajiegoer. Please email us here: contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize. Overall League Table THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn...[Read More]
