Fantasy FPL Captain Picks GW23 Hello, how are ya getting on?! Welcome to the captainâs article, where Iâll be trying to guide you to the kind of points hauls that give you nice big juicy green arrows, rather than looking at your team with the kind of disgust you would if you saw yourself on that work do where you had too many drinks and may have said some regrettable things before making a nasty mess. This week is one of those where you would have to have some gumption, put on your big boy â or girl, of course â pants and move that armband away from Salah. Home to Ipswich? Of course you’d captain him. But, wait, carry on reading! Come back, settle down. Well anyway, Iâm rambling enough already and, letâs face it, you havenât come onto the read the introduction of man who is sat in an...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW23 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW23. Not much to really write home about this week. All games were pretty much as expected, Liverpool grabbed a 2-0 win at the death, Man City hammered Ipswich 6-0, Brighton beat United 3-1. All to be expected! One thing nobody got was the FGS, Justin Kluivert who scored in the 6th minute against Newcastle in their 1-4 win over the Geordies. We had 3 double-digit scores with 2 managers on 10 points and 1 manager who topped the lot. DMC and Nathc168 couldn’t be separated but on top of the lot were Shrivathsa on 11 pts. Many congratulations to Shrivathsa! Please email us here: contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize. Overall League Table THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring cou...[Read More]

FF247 Site Team News GW22 Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW22 For anyone who missed our tweet last week, we decided to save our transfer and Captain Salah: FF247 Site Team GW21 Website is switching server and it has taken longer than expected! Should be back up today but just in case, we have rolled our transfer and gone with Salah as Captain pic.twitter.com/QsLERRALT9 — FF247 (@FantasyFooty247) January 14, 2025 Our Gameweek 21 Result Captaining Salah didnât go too well, weâd have been wiser to go with Palmer, or even more so with Isak. Those two along with Gordon, and to an extent Rogers and Munoz dragged us into some sort of respectability. Albeit with a second red arrow in a row, after three straight greens. Over the two weeks we fell about 300k to just below 2.5m. We just canât seem ...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW22 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW22 For the record I did produce an article last week, with 4 weeks of results and an updated league table. Sadly, it was lost in the site crash, so Iâm back doing it all over again! Just to clarify, last week is null and void as far as H&L is concerned. Apologies for those who put in predictions for the remaining fixtures, but there was many who didnât realise the site was back up, so itâs only fair we forget it ever happened! With 4 weeksâ worth of results to recap thereâs no time for any more waffle, so letâs get straight into it, and see who the big winners were over the festive period! GW17 â Things were nice a simple in GW17, all three of our winners correctly guessed the FGS but it was ulti...[Read More]

FF247 Site Team News GW17 to GW20 Sometimes you can’t just get back on your horse Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW17 (through 20) With the festivities just around the corner, we’ll be taking a break from writing full articles. However, we will be updating this article in the comments with our GW18 and 20 team selections. One of those will feature our Wildcard, so make sure you tune in to witness our continued fall from grace!! Iâve been playing a lot of Red Dead Redemption 2 on my old PS4 of late. Iâm not much of a gamer, but there is something soothing about whiling the hours away, galloping the planes on my trusty steed. Until I ran off a cliff. Well, it wasnât quite a cliff, more like a small hillock, but it might as well have been as far as Kevin (my horse), was concerned. Kev...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW20 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW20 We are coming to the end of the festive season now and so the chaos will ease. 4 game weeks in the space of a few days has seen no results here in H&L towers but we have a breather after GW20 finishes so we shall have all the results for you in next weeks article! THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldnât be much simpler: ⢠Correct Score â> 3 points; ⢠Correct Result â> 1 point; and ⢠Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek â> 5 points. To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself!
