Fantasy Football Fixtures Gameweek 3 “You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step”. A lovely sentiment, but Martin Luther King Jr. clearly hasn’t visited FF247 where we look at the FPL staircase six steps at a time. Welcome to the GW3 Fixtures article, in which we endeavour to segregate the teams that will be relishing a points feast over the next 6 games, from those that will be wanting to avoid their Twitter feed for a while. If GW2 had one motto for FPL managers, it was ‘We told you so’. Delivering for the 2nd consecutive week, Ramsey and Costa scored, Sigurdsson assisted and Dier replicated his handsome CS/goal haul. 29 points in 2 games is mightily impressive, but for a defender? Come on now. Behave. But it wasn’t all good news. Ch...[Read More]

Team Talk Game-week 38 The Crying Game – FPL Fantasy Football Premier League Well, this is it folks – GW38 – the last game-week of the season. And what a season it’s been, what a week it’s been!! We’ve had the most topsy turvy of a DGW37, which was rescued for some by Yaya and Dzeko and ruined for others by Mata, Aguero and Rooney. We’ve seen Cardiff and Fulham relegated with Norwich joining them unless they demolish Arsenal 17-0. We’ve had Villa, West Brom and Hull do just enough to survive, while Sunderland have made the mother of all comebacks. West Ham beat Tottenham….again! Norwich parked their bus at the Stamford Bridge bus garage. RvP returned. But nothing as dramatic as events at Selhurst Park on Monday evening as Palace came back from 3-0 down to draw with Liverpool, further...[Read More]

Live Match Chat Man Utd v Hull- FPL Fantasy Premier League Welcome to Live Match Chat on a fine Tuesday evening for Man Utd v Hull. This may well be a dead rubber for the teams involved but this could still be a crucial night for a lot of fantasy managers. Many have gone ‘all in’ on Utd with Rooney, Mata and possibly some sort of Utd defensive coverage. The team news will be as highly anticipated as the game itself we imagine. Will Rooney feature, will Mata be in Evil Kagawa’s hole?! Will Kagawa be in his own hole. Can Rio play twice in one week. Will Jones feature at all…. No doubt TJ will be around to enlighten us all with the line-ups… Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which...[Read More]

The Boot Room – Rate My Team GW 38 – FPL Fantasy Football Premier League Game-week 37 is still in progress, if ‘progress’ is a word that can be applied to it! At this point it’s less than a ‘damp squib’. Big names have either failed to produce, got themselves injured or in some cases failed to even appear. There are four games left to rectify the situation but either way we should still start looking ahead to GW38. Who is on your radar for the final week? Who do you feel has the best chance to shine this week? Man City and Liverpool look like they may be the only two teams who will go into GW38 with something to play for. Is it time to treble up on both of these then or do you fancy having a punt elsewhere? Please feel free as ever, to post your thoughts...[Read More]

Fantasy football 2014 – 2015 Latest news FPL Fantasy Premier League Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho had confirmed on Friday that Juan Mata will have a medical at Manchester United ahead of a move to the Premier League champions, and the Red Devils have now confirmed that they have finalised a deal which will go ahead pending a medical and agreement on personal terms. United also confirmed that the deal is for a “club record fee”, thought to be £37 million.
