Euro 2020/21 Fantasy Football

Welcome to the FF247 hub for the Euro’s. As per our Champions League article this shall be the main place for the duration of the comp and will act more as a destination to gather and discuss it all, rather than being anything of particular fantasy use.

How to play?
You have a couple of options here;

Alternatively you can simply update your UEFA Games App (the one you may have used for the CL) and it will show up as a dual purpose one with the Euros game on there.

The Rules
This game is exactly as per the CL one with in-game matchday-by-matchday substitutions and Capo changes available between each day.

We expect most of our league members will be au-fait with these rules but if you are unsure then simply ask in the comments below and somebody will always be on hand to explain further.

Hints, tips, squads, line-ups etc…
For once UEFA have actually made a pretty good job of this and so we won’t be bothering to post any of the above as articles as it is pretty much all there for you. They have the entire raft of squads posted on both their website and on their official App along with a run-down on every single team.

The FF247 League
We are not running a ‘public’ league for this one, we are keeping it in-house for the summer fun and as such we have our usual ‘Regulars League’. We did post the league code in the comments section previously but this has now disappeared. The good news is that the majority of our usual CL crew saw it and have already joined,

All we ask if you enter the league is that you please keep the code to yourself and don’t divulge it to family or friends who do not frequent the site. This is for the FF247 Community who will be commenting and interacting on here and we would like to keep it that way. Ivan (The Terrible) will be keeping a watch and if you do then expect to be dealt with harshly!

  3. What a goal by Sasa Kalajdic.. he got so many good points in Fantasy Bundesliga, but today took away double CS……5 points lost, anyway its okay.

    • GM, Italy were lucky with the disallowed goal and Austria made a tremendous effort.
      Whatever the overrated things are said, Italy won’t manage under the pressure from Portugal next.

      • Or belgium. It was an incredible performance by austria

      • These are all one-off games. There is no favourite, you never know how Italy will perform against POR/BEL.They can just steamroll them or even can crumble under pressure.

        • I just hate overrated teams and love the underdogs in major tournaments.
          If we all agree and cheer the favourites it will be too cordial and boring laugh

          Expect the Dutch sweating under the pressure from Schick and Darida. Soucek in the mix as well.

        • If we’re supporting the underdogs this means I have to support Germany versus England. unknw

        • Razi, there are no underdogs in this game.
          This is THE battle. Only the best on the day can win.

        • In fact, this is the most unpredictable game of all.
          England with the lest chances created so far.
          Germany, don’t know what team to play with.
          It could go either way. My prediction is extra time followed by penalty shootout, and then…………….

        • England have been piss poor and Germany have been on and off .. I’d definitely favor the Germans to go through though. But for the Dutch if we go through… I’d rather face England in the semi’s. Hehe.

        • Not entirely sure about that Razi.
          As I mentioned to you before, England have adopted some crafty new style and could well get Germany into the trap.
          We gonna have to wait and see.

      • Ciro blew the post a bump and Bachmann saved a screamer. To say Italy was just a lucky is a stretch I feel. They will struggle against Belgium/Portugal based on today’s performance though – good thing I only have three of them 😉 wacko

      • The Arnautovic goal was offside Ivan.

        I wouldn’t judge future Italy on tonight’s initial 90 minutes. They got the job done and should only improve for it.

        • Italy has been very strong.. this could have been a day off…

          Literally every country has has bad games.

          I was surprised since even though the Dutch haven’t looked good in one game… they didn’t have any problem with Austria… the entire game Austria felt helpless. I maybe underrated Austria or overrated Italy. We’ll see. Wales was also in the group of Italy and they got destroyed 4-0.
