Euro 2020/21 Fantasy Football
Welcome to the FF247 hub for the Euro’s. As per our Champions League article this shall be the main place for the duration of the comp and will act more as a destination to gather and discuss it all, rather than being anything of particular fantasy use.
What you need to know
How to play?
You have a couple of options here;
Click here to join via a desktop or webpage.
Alternatively you can simply update your UEFA Games App (the one you may have used for the CL) and it will show up as a dual purpose one with the Euros game on there.
The Rules
This game is exactly as per the CL one with in-game matchday-by-matchday substitutions and Capo changes available between each day.
We expect most of our league members will be au-fait with these rules but if you are unsure then simply ask in the comments below and somebody will always be on hand to explain further.
Or simply click here for the full explanation.
Hints, tips, squads, line-ups etc…
For once UEFA have actually made a pretty good job of this and so we won’t be bothering to post any of the above as articles as it is pretty much all there for you. They have the entire raft of squads posted on both their website and on their official App along with a run-down on every single team.
The FF247 League
We are not running a ‘public’ league for this one, we are keeping it in-house for the summer fun and as such we have our usual ‘Regulars League’. We did post the league code in the comments section previously but this has now disappeared. The good news is that the majority of our usual CL crew saw it and have already joined,
For anyone who didn’t then simply drop us an email on;
contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk
All we ask if you enter the league is that you please keep the code to yourself and don’t divulge it to family or friends who do not frequent the site. This is for the FF247 Community who will be commenting and interacting on here and we would like to keep it that way. Ivan (The Terrible) will be keeping a watch and if you do then expect to be dealt with harshly!
Wish they would take Kane off. Bring on Sancho.
This game sums up how poorly the top countries have been…
YES…YES…YES!!! Said bring on Grealish.
My oh my!!! This is bliss.
Congrats everyone.
Havertz and Timo are useless…..Germans used to be clinical finishers, but there is so much degrade. This German team will take hell lot of time to regain the glory of German football.
The have the talent… both teams looked tired and depleted… think that’s the main reason why smaller football countries do so well. The fitness aspect.
Low has been terrible for a while now though.. Not a manager whom can still motivate or bring new ideas.
England has the road mapoed out to the finals… All but one game played at wembly
After yesterday’s exciting footy, we are back to Eng – Ger boring match. Having such a good team, I do not know why Eng is so less attacking….every match they shoot below 10. Today they had 4 shots with 3 on target.
They started with just 3 attackers.
It’s a tough one GM. Southgate has openly said about trying to control games more. The 3 at the back were excellent, the 2 FB’s were too and the 2 in the middle of the park were outstanding. That does stifle us a tad as it leaves just the 3 attackers but it’s difficult to argue against it so far with a QF spot and zero goals conceded.
I agree. Southgate and England have been brilliant in killing games both in the good (controlling the match through tactics) and bad (read ‘boring’ to watch) sense. Don’t think it’s fatigue/depletion as suggested above. Just good tactical nous so far at least. Would be interesting to see how they react/change if they were to go behind…
Grealish adds that element. He more or less won that game in two very small moments.
True
Fatigue plays a role with all players that had a long season. Especially players that played in the premier league, most demanding competition.
Anyway England has a good chance with the schedule and the home advantage. Final will be interesting… Italy, Spain or Belgium… France had the strongest team on paper but they messed up… too arrogant yesterday…versus a very for Switzerland.
Hmm. Anyway, the group of death has been completely eliminated…pretty sure 3 tough matches don’t help there for any of them.
Road to final is clear. Doesn’t matter how you win, people will forget…
Helps when you have a young team though Raz, certainly in the more demanding positions, the likes of Rice and Phillips certainly didn’t look tired. Kane does, but he’s relatively old compared to them, and is probably still struggling to recover / regain fitness from his ongoing ankle issues.
I reckon we could deal with Spain. And we’d be quite happy to stare Italy out for 70 or 80 minutes. Ideally we just need somebody else to knock Belgium out for us now!
