Euro 2020/21 Fantasy Football
Welcome to the FF247 hub for the Euro’s. As per our Champions League article this shall be the main place for the duration of the comp and will act more as a destination to gather and discuss it all, rather than being anything of particular fantasy use.
What you need to know
How to play?
You have a couple of options here;
Click here to join via a desktop or webpage.
Alternatively you can simply update your UEFA Games App (the one you may have used for the CL) and it will show up as a dual purpose one with the Euros game on there.
The Rules
This game is exactly as per the CL one with in-game matchday-by-matchday substitutions and Capo changes available between each day.
We expect most of our league members will be au-fait with these rules but if you are unsure then simply ask in the comments below and somebody will always be on hand to explain further.
Or simply click here for the full explanation.
Hints, tips, squads, line-ups etc…
For once UEFA have actually made a pretty good job of this and so we won’t be bothering to post any of the above as articles as it is pretty much all there for you. They have the entire raft of squads posted on both their website and on their official App along with a run-down on every single team.
The FF247 League
We are not running a ‘public’ league for this one, we are keeping it in-house for the summer fun and as such we have our usual ‘Regulars League’. We did post the league code in the comments section previously but this has now disappeared. The good news is that the majority of our usual CL crew saw it and have already joined,
For anyone who didn’t then simply drop us an email on;
contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk
All we ask if you enter the league is that you please keep the code to yourself and don’t divulge it to family or friends who do not frequent the site. This is for the FF247 Community who will be commenting and interacting on here and we would like to keep it that way. Ivan (The Terrible) will be keeping a watch and if you do then expect to be dealt with harshly!
What are the points for the top 5 in your league guys? I didn’t get in but I’d be interested to know where I rank. I’m going horrid so I’m sure it’s not high!
264 – 271 range.
Sorry 262 – 271 range
Not far off from the current overall leader who is on 313.
Great work fellas! I’m sitting on 230 with missing my first round of transfers. Winning my own league which would result in a mate buying me a carton of piss so I’m happy haha.
Would love to hear who you guys think will progress? Most likely first.
Spain, Italy, England & Denmark is my guess, but the way things are going, who the hell knows…
Bees, I am still on course
Mmnn…I know things are nuts but I can’t quite get my head around that one Ivan!
BTW…what is all the sudden love for Morata who was not so great. I feel those fighters Schick and even Seferovic is more likely to score, even if they exit.
No idea about Morata tbh.
I am having a day break of it and will get into it tomorrow.
You are right about Schick, he would me my first choice. Also considering one of Zinchenko or Yarmolenko.
I had Yarmo and swapped him out for Grealish (have Sterling too) so may get Yarmo back. Do love Grealish though. So maybe Sterling out.
same as u but i think belgium will beat italy
Still have WC. Made 4 transfers at a cost of -4. Team is set at:
Lukaku, Kane
Sarabia, Insigne, Berardi
Bonucci, Spinazolla, Meunier, Stones, Mahle
Simon
Bench: Donnarumma, Sterling, Yaremchuk, Hojbjerg
Since it’s for sh1tes & giggles will save WC til the semis.
nice going
Maehle or Kalas? Have a good feeling about the Czechs.
Would not be surprised to see the Italians go out…
Maehle for me. Danes look good at times.
So who got the better deal here?!
EVE. Do not understand their fans complaining. Would they do the same if Klopp signed with EVE?
Do like the Nuno pick too.
In answer to the Klopp question; yes they would. Not saying I agree but perhaps you have to be from one of these big cities with two teams to understand that; same in Glasgow, Manchester, some pockets of London. Paul Hawsbee summed that up today with the explanation that even when Spurs won the League Cup the fans wouldn’t acknowledge George Graham to the extent that they sang ‘Man in the raincoats blue and white army’
The most important question is are you happy Init?
Should have given it to Dunc for me GP but I’m indifferent about it in terms of his Liverpool history. Time will tell.
Weird one as I’m not sure either set of fans will be happy because of the circumstances but both are decent managers
Rafa looks like he’s standing in front of a large fixture-tracker.
Nuno looks like he’s just won a prize for escaping over the Berlin Wall.
I think this must be the deal of the day
He is coming straight in my team from gw1. Hopefully he will be around 9 or 9.5 not more.
Not going with Bruno – the penalty man.
He was in my Bundesliga team all season.
Him, Lewandowski and Haaland were the set and forget players.
bcoz of injury i didnt always have him in bundesliga. if he is fit i ll have him.
Next is Varane, although fans are not very happy after France were booted out so early.
