Euro 2020/21 Fantasy Football
Welcome to the FF247 hub for the Euro’s. As per our Champions League article this shall be the main place for the duration of the comp and will act more as a destination to gather and discuss it all, rather than being anything of particular fantasy use.

The Rules
This game is exactly as per the CL one with in-game matchday-by-matchday substitutions and Capo changes available between each day.
We expect most of our league members will be au-fait with these rules but if you are unsure then simply ask in the comments below and somebody will always be on hand to explain further.

For once UEFA have actually made a pretty good job of this and so we won’t be bothering to post any of the above as articles as it is pretty much all there for you. They have the entire raft of squads posted on both their website and on their official App along with a run-down on every single team.
The FF247 League
We are not running a ‘public’ league for this one, we are keeping it in-house for the summer fun and as such we have our usual ‘Regulars League’. We did post the league code in the comments section previously but this has now disappeared. The good news is that the majority of our usual CL crew saw it and have already joined,

All we ask if you enter the league is that you please keep the code to yourself and don’t divulge it to family or friends who do not frequent the site. This is for the FF247 Community who will be commenting and interacting on here and we would like to keep it that way. Ivan (The Terrible) will be keeping a watch and if you do then expect to be dealt with harshly!
Any thoughts on this? Would you keep Golovin?
Is this a limitless draft? Looks as good as any. I’d keep Golovin as midfield in this game is light for options and he’s as good as any other option considering his fixture
Yes, limitless. The only other one I was thinking about was Bruno, but I think he played a deeper yesterday…
Yeah his appeal isn’t great for portugal as he’s not the main man for set pieces and has jota/bernado/cr7 all playing higher up.
I’ve punted on hazard over golovin in the end for what it’s worth.
Gear, not sure if Italy will end with a CS this time.
Get Zinczenko. Plays OOP and if Ukraine manage to keep quiet Pandev he could get more on the top of a CS points.

Dumfries had 3 clear chances against Ukraine and he is playing a weaker opposition this week, so there is a potential haul there.

I’d say Bale as you’ve got solid cappo options as back ups any way and I’d imagine Bale is on all set pieces?
I’ve gone with Immobile as captain at the expense of losing Kane in my line up.

You are right, 3 big guns to come after today. Bale will be a big deferential captain for today as the majority will go with an Italian capo.
Gone for Griezmann as he is the principal penalties taker and think the way Hungary played yesterday, there will be a couple of them. Just not sure about Pogba, maybe better to bring Sterling instead
That’s where I ended up. No standout French mids so sterling over kane and immobile.
Griezmann was the top of the diamond midfield, I just think mbappe will be the man to have unless you have the gut feeling and you’ll boost up with griezmann if it pulls off

I think Scotland will be a somewhat difficult game and he didn’t seem that involved v Crotia. Not sure about him and Lukaku though, there’s some FOMO there for sure

I had bonucci gw1 and ive swapped for spinazzolla as he was so far forward on left flank. Could boost you up with ukrain+russia really blitz their games.

Yes, I might put Spinazzolla in instead. It’s just that he might rotate though.
You are too reliant on Russia but the Finns looked pretty good defensively in the first game.
Hmm I actually think the Finns looked really poor actually- Denmark was terrible going forward and yet FI was lucky not to concede actually. Despite DK being in shambles in the second half (understandably so) the Finns only managed one chance which luckily went through Schmeichel and which was given primarily due to a major defensive cock up by Mæhle
