Euro 2020/21 Fantasy Football
Welcome to the FF247 hub for the Euro’s. As per our Champions League article this shall be the main place for the duration of the comp and will act more as a destination to gather and discuss it all, rather than being anything of particular fantasy use.

The Rules
This game is exactly as per the CL one with in-game matchday-by-matchday substitutions and Capo changes available between each day.
We expect most of our league members will be au-fait with these rules but if you are unsure then simply ask in the comments below and somebody will always be on hand to explain further.

For once UEFA have actually made a pretty good job of this and so we won’t be bothering to post any of the above as articles as it is pretty much all there for you. They have the entire raft of squads posted on both their website and on their official App along with a run-down on every single team.
The FF247 League
We are not running a ‘public’ league for this one, we are keeping it in-house for the summer fun and as such we have our usual ‘Regulars League’. We did post the league code in the comments section previously but this has now disappeared. The good news is that the majority of our usual CL crew saw it and have already joined,

All we ask if you enter the league is that you please keep the code to yourself and don’t divulge it to family or friends who do not frequent the site. This is for the FF247 Community who will be commenting and interacting on here and we would like to keep it that way. Ivan (The Terrible) will be keeping a watch and if you do then expect to be dealt with harshly!
I picked Mario Fernandes(C) as a punt. Of all players, he got injured in 25 min and had to be subbed out. Next week I am going to take 24 point hits or WC.
I thought about the same and also have him in. Bad luck.
Bad luck GM. I also punted on Fernandes on my LL (but not as capo). At least it happened early enough in the Matchday/GW that we can bring in a super-sub for him!
Same here but we have 3 more chances to captain. Tmrw i ll play safe and c lukaku
Turkey v Wales
Wales are uninspiring. At least so far. Come on Bale!
Bale would have had 2 assists already if Ramsey had finished off those not-too-difficult chances.

9 points ain’t bad. I have F Torres on the bench who plays on the last day. It all depends how Insigne, Yarmolenko and Sterling performs.
As for a captain, surely there are many better players in all teams who will do better.

Init has Bale as a captain.
Waiting to see what happens there
Not sure yet Ivan. Usually 18 is the threshold in CL, certainly what I call it as anyway. Reason there is you are usually looking at 2 goals to top it. Ronaldo and Lukaku got those last round and only brought home a 20. I suppose it’s gambling more against the negative loss, in which case you stick.
Then again if you have Lukaku, Kane and Mbappe to roll through still, especially with their respective opposition….
I’m on captain Bale too
Think I will stick, for much the same reasons that Init mentioned.
Also, I had to ride the captain train right through to Ronaldo last MD/GW, which was a bit nerve-wracking. I quite like the idea of banking my Bale capo points this MD/GW 😀
Yep, it is a borderline where it can get only slightly better.
So far, the players have been cautiously disciplined and if that goes on maybe it’s unlikely to see more than a brace.
Perhaps sticking is not a bad idea after all.
