Euro 2020/21 Fantasy Football

Welcome to the FF247 hub for the Euro’s. As per our Champions League article this shall be the main place for the duration of the comp and will act more as a destination to gather and discuss it all, rather than being anything of particular fantasy use.

What you need to know

How to play?
You have a couple of options here;

Click here to join via a desktop or webpage.

Alternatively you can simply update your UEFA Games App (the one you may have used for the CL) and it will show up as a dual purpose one with the Euros game on there.

The Rules
This game is exactly as per the CL one with in-game matchday-by-matchday substitutions and Capo changes available between each day.

We expect most of our league members will be au-fait with these rules but if you are unsure then simply ask in the comments below and somebody will always be on hand to explain further.

Or simply click here for the full explanation.

Hints, tips, squads, line-ups etc…
For once UEFA have actually made a pretty good job of this and so we won’t be bothering to post any of the above as articles as it is pretty much all there for you. They have the entire raft of squads posted on both their website and on their official App along with a run-down on every single team.

The FF247 League
We are not running a ‘public’ league for this one, we are keeping it in-house for the summer fun and as such we have our usual ‘Regulars League’. We did post the league code in the comments section previously but this has now disappeared. The good news is that the majority of our usual CL crew saw it and have already joined,

For anyone who didn’t then simply drop us an email on;

contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk

All we ask if you enter the league is that you please keep the code to yourself and don’t divulge it to family or friends who do not frequent the site. This is for the FF247 Community who will be commenting and interacting on here and we would like to keep it that way. Ivan (The Terrible) will be keeping a watch and if you do then expect to be dealt with harshly!

Thanks for reading Euro 2020/21 Fantasy Football

with netherlands and belgium almost 100% certain to top the group and italy only need a draw to be top, tricky team selection for gw3.
No way of predicting safely.. Will still use the WC button

Gameweek 3 what’s best to use wildcard or limitless?

    • 333.1

      I your case, limitless.
I will try my best to keep the WC for after the last 16. That said, it all depends on what will be the situation on Saturday night, who is definitely through and who is still with something to play for.

      • inittowinit says:

Ivan, read @Gears reply to #334, there’s a subliminal message in there about this being limitless no.2 cool

      • Aarron13 says:

What are you going to do in game week 3 Ivan?, Most of your squad won’t play with rotation

      • Init and Aarron, as I said, I have no idea whether will play the WC or not yet. On Saturday night we’ll have a clearer picture of what might happen next. Apart from those who will be fighting for 3rd best, we have to take in consideration that the ones who are already through will aim to finish top of their groups in order to avoid tough fixtures in the knockouts.

        • Aarron13 says:

I’m waiting until Saturday night also, good thing is deadline is 17:00 Sunday, teams will be playing for 3rd I guess, I’ve left Wildcard for the knock out stage so I can take more risks

God what a nightmare game. Frank de Boer us extremely stubborn.

What was wrong Raz? I didn’t get to watch this one unfortunately.

      • Raziel says:

They are all over the place. Austria is extremely weak and they sometimes dominates the pitch. Mostly the players don’t get this system and often have a hard time finding each other… 5-3-2 just isn’t us. Weghorst our second striker next to Depay doesn’t have enough pace for this system… nerd Malen… Weghorst is for 4-3-3…

Any top country would run over us in my opinion only because de Boer is hella stubborn…

Also was a very poor game to watch.

        Anyway…it is what it is..
I was glad when the game was over and not because of the suspense…90 minutes I ain’t getting back

        • OddDane says:

Hmm interesting, that’s not how I saw the game Razsmile. Depay missed a couple good chances and generally I found them to be quite attacking and at most times dominant going forward.

Also Austria is not a super weak side as I see it, sure without ‘loud-mouth’ Arnie there’s not much coming forward, but they are quick on the counter/contra attacks and have a decent enough team.

That said, I thought 4-3-3 was the Dutch holy grail of football? You’re right. It does look a bit odd somehow smile

Ouch a drastic dive in the league to 24th from close to top. Come on Harry, help me recover
