Euro 2020/21 Fantasy Football

Welcome to the FF247 hub for the Euro’s. As per our Champions League article this shall be the main place for the duration of the comp and will act more as a destination to gather and discuss it all, rather than being anything of particular fantasy use.

What you need to know

How to play?
You have a couple of options here;

Click here to join via a desktop or webpage.

Alternatively you can simply update your UEFA Games App (the one you may have used for the CL) and it will show up as a dual purpose one with the Euros game on there.

The Rules
This game is exactly as per the CL one with in-game matchday-by-matchday substitutions and Capo changes available between each day.

We expect most of our league members will be au-fait with these rules but if you are unsure then simply ask in the comments below and somebody will always be on hand to explain further.

Or simply click here for the full explanation.

Hints, tips, squads, line-ups etc…
For once UEFA have actually made a pretty good job of this and so we won’t be bothering to post any of the above as articles as it is pretty much all there for you. They have the entire raft of squads posted on both their website and on their official App along with a run-down on every single team.

The FF247 League
We are not running a ‘public’ league for this one, we are keeping it in-house for the summer fun and as such we have our usual ‘Regulars League’. We did post the league code in the comments section previously but this has now disappeared. The good news is that the majority of our usual CL crew saw it and have already joined,

For anyone who didn’t then simply drop us an email on;

contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk

All we ask if you enter the league is that you please keep the code to yourself and don’t divulge it to family or friends who do not frequent the site. This is for the FF247 Community who will be commenting and interacting on here and we would like to keep it that way. Ivan (The Terrible) will be keeping a watch and if you do then expect to be dealt with harshly!

Thanks for reading Euro 2020/21 Fantasy Football

    Brilliant point for Scotland.

Didn’t deserve to win but certainly didn’t deserve to lose.

Billy Gilmour is a superstar in the making.

To wc or not with this crew?

We expecting much uncertainty around starting 11s for the big teams already through?

Cant really afford many good transfers either. Potential changes would be: Simon for Bachmann to have keepers on different days and it would mean losing Bonucci for Mings…

      • Webstar, let’s see how the last 6 teams perform today.
So far we haven’t seen any fireworks tbh. Maybe we can get away with the 2 FT and perhaps a couple of hits if needed.
I still think the WC will be very useful after the last 16 when we’ll have only 3 FT and 8 teams disqualified.

        • That said, I don’t like the idea 10 of my players having games on Monday crazy

        • webstar87 says:

Yeah I’m in a similar boat with a lot of my cheaper punts all on the same day.

Just wondering if the unlimited fts after the group stages will be enough for me to field a good squad and carry it through after the last 16.

Potential draft of wc attached but needs 2m shaving somewhere (probably Mount to fodder or depay to weghorst.)

        • OK, a wildcard maybe it’s not such a bad idea after all.
Manchini already hinted for heavy rotations and if I remember correctly Belgium played their last group game in WC 2018 with almost the entire B team. Then, depends on the outcome today, I still think Spain and Portugal will be aiming for top of the group place. Maybe we should concentrate on Germany who still have a chance to go through and against Hungary they might do it.
These are the teams currently fighting to qualify as the top 4 best 3rd place.

        • Stone Frog says:

Be careful of rotation for Italy, Holland and Belgium if going the WC route.

    Morning all.

I keep getting screwed over by my Captain choices this week
    I now have 3 choices:
    – keep Kane as Captain (2pts without C)
    – Make D.Jota Cap
    – Make P.Torres Cap

Not the best options, but any advice appreciated lads

      webstar87 says:

Definitely not keep Kane as captain.

Go with your gut as neither Jota nor Torres guaranteed a start so it’s hard to advise.

Risking losing 2 points for potential clean sheet or return from Jota is definitely worth the risk.

    • 357.2

Jota is the best bet for you.
He is widely predicted to start and my scape an assist if not a goal.
Portugal will be fighting with France for top of the group place.

Thoughts on this WC? Any likely non starters for MD3? Donnarumma or Pickford?

  5. 359

Well, I meant the long undefeated streak, but they have 10 CS in it.
“With the last game Italy extended its unbeaten streak to 29 matches — one shy of the team record — and kept its 10th clean sheet in that run”.

    Stone Frog says:

It slightly bizarre the 3rd places go through. It makes it possible to win the tournament with 7 successive 0-0 draws and winning knock-out games on pens.
