Fantasy Football 247 at the Football Blog Awards. Last chance to vote!

Fantasy Football 247 at the Football Blog AwardsAs we are sure you are by now aware FF247 have been shortlisted as a finalist for the Best FPL Football Blog Awards (FBA). The finals take place on November 13th at the National Football Museum in Manchester. Voting closes this Friday and it is a close run thing so far so this is our last plea for more votes! We would dearly love to bring home an award for you all as a thank you for your following and dedication. We are under no illusions that the competition is strong and we are honoured to have even made it this far in our first year but with your help you just never know. Details of how to vote follow below and the main message here is that if you have already voted in the first round of voting you need to do so again as votes were reset for the finals.

[clear]

tweetvoteWe would like to thank all our members for being such a huge part of the site – without you we are nothing. We have always aimed to make FF247 a community site, a fun site as well, of course, and an essential all round tool for FPL managers. It is your involvement, comments, banter and engagement that ultimately has pushed FF247 into the realms of being nominated for awards such as this.

So we thank you deeply and look forward to a bigger, better, funnier future together!
Finally, we would like to ask that you vote for us in the hope that little old FF247 may just upset some of the more established names that we are up against. Clearly our age will not make it easy for us to win against other sites that have been around for years, but you know us, we’ll give it a go. Every vote counts.

Voting is very straightforward – all you need to is click on the link below, either taking you to the FBA site or through the twitter button.
In case you’re thinking, “I’ve already voted”, then firstly thanks, it’s your votes that have been responsible for us being nominated but as we say that was for the first round so please make sure you vote again.

If you’re on twitter, then this is the most simple method.

Voting via the FBA site link involves about about two minutes more of your time! Just click this link (or the red ‘tweet your vote’ button above), enter your details and under “categories”, click the FPL drop down menu and you will see Fantasy Football 247 appear. Simply highlight us and click “Vote Now” – you will be sent an email which you will need to confirm your vote.

The FF247 team will be attending the event itself and we will be sure to post pics on here and via twitter of what will surely be a fantastic night out regardless of the results! Tickets are on general sale as well so if anyone fancies it please feel free to come but be sure to let us know so that so we can include you in our party!

Thanks again for your time, patience and support!

All at Fantasy Football 247.

Morning all can I have some thoughts on having Kun to not having him

He is the main focal point of the City attack which in reality is the second best team in the league at present (sorry Southampton). You can go without him but I’d say you’d need Costa instead. In my mind you need one or the other but not necessarily both (I don’t own Costa). I would also say that are other ways into the Chelsea attack but not many reliable City alternatives which means for me Aguero is more important to my attack than having Costa.

Kun could have had a stormer the last two weeks. He was very unlucky last week, could have easily scored 2 or 3 goals. Yesterday could have been great if one or two pens would have been called. I agree Kun over Costa if the choice is only one.

Morning Silvers, Kun is a must have and a season long keeper, barring injury of course. As Gee Pee points out Chelski and Citeh are the 2 best teams in the league, i have both Kun and Costa.

Rather unluckily as it turned out, I had the opportunity to watch the Liverpool game in peace on Saturday. Very worrying. I take the fact Suarez left and Sturridge is injured but should that mean the style of play is altered so drastically? Looks to me that Suarez did more than score and set up all those goals but set the tempo for that entire team.

GP, it really does look that way. Liverpool started out good without Suarez last season. But good points wise, I think I remember them winning their first 3 games 1-0 on Sturridge goals. But they had to hold on for dear life in all 3, including one game where Migs saved a penalty at the end. They then lost to Southampton before Suarez came back. Once he arrived though, they turned into the Liverpool we remember. S&S was born the first game back for Suarez. They were a machine and he was at the heart of everything. Spurs have struggled to replace Bale and looks live Liverpool is suffering even more.

This team is ridiculous. I wouldn’t personally keep that much money on the bench, but it obviously worked out for this guy.
