Fantasy Football 247 at the Football Blog Awards
Fantasy Football 247 is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted as a finalist for the Best FPL Football Blog award (FBA). The finals take place on November 13th at the National Football Museum in Manchester. This is an immense achievement for us, bearing in mind we only went live in November of 2013 and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the team at FF247 for all their hard work, given freely and in their own time, for making the site what it is today.
[clear]
We would also like to thank all our members for being such a huge part of the site – without you we are nothing and the site is irrelevant. We have always aimed to make FF247 a community site, a fun site as well, of course, and a useful tool for FPL managers. It is your involvement, comments, banter and engagement that ultimately has pushed FF247 into the realms of being nominated for awards such as this.
So we thank you deeply and look forward to a bigger, better, funnier future together!
Finally, we would like to ask that you vote for us in the hope that little old FF247 may just upset some of the more established names that we are up against. Clearly our age will not make it easy for us to win against other sites that have been around for years, but you know us, we’ll give it a go. Every vote counts.
Voting is very straightforward – all you need to is click on the link below, either taking you to the FBA site or through the twitter button.
In case you’re thinking, “I’ve already voted”, then firstly thanks, it’s your votes that have been responsible for us being nominated. But from now, the votes have been reset to zero and we start again.
If you’re on twitter, then this is the most simple method.
Voting via the FBA site link involves about about two minutes more of your time! Just click this link (or the red ‘tweet your vote’ button above), enter your details and under “categories”, click the FPL drop down menu and you will see Fantasy Football 247 appear. Simply highlight us and click “Vote Now” – you will be sent an email which you will need to confirm your vote.
The FF247 team will be attending the event itself and we will be sure to post pics on here and via twitter of what will surely be a fantastic night out regardless of the results! Tickets are on general sale as well so if anyone fancies it please feel free to come but be sure to let us know so that so we can include you in our party!
Thanks again for your time, patience and support!
All at Fantasy Football 247.
DDG has let me down again. Why the hell do I persist with him
Me too. Seriously thinking of transfering him out. His upcoming fixtures look difficult
*impossible
Utd were always set for an ‘easy’ set of starting fixtures for 8-9 weeks after that it really gets a bit more difficult! De gea is 5.4, Forster of soton is 5.1 and they have stoke, hull, leicester, villa next 4 games!
@ Dreamers
Can say United have been quite unlucky with some goals they got against them. This was another cracker.
No excuses though, their defense is terrible.
the thing is, I can see them getting it right in time and there always seems higher priorities.
Shaw has looked the weak spot and he has given it away a bit. Other than that, not like they are LFC (and I support Liverpool) :hangshead:
must figure out this icon business too one of these days
Come on Angel!!!!!!
RVP lost it
MATA F-ING IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What’s up with Foster? Minor injury?
minor calf complaint that what they said
Cool, hopefully he’s back next week.
guys can you focus your madness by rating my team lol
who do you think i should bring in for silva ?? diame zaha … idk
Jedinak
Baunsir – who have you already brought in and whats the rush?
i believe diame’s price is going up tonight so i was thinking about him and just wait until man city’s champions league match before getting aguero….
its just idk who to get for 5.7
FFS, FELLAINI IS COMING ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LVG!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dare to say Fellaini would’ve scored from one of those Di Maria crosses though.
Ahahhaahahahha Fellaini was fantastic last season. Or not. You really can’t know with this guy. Don’t know if he’d score, but he would be closer than RvP has been.
Thing about Fellaini is his last 6 months at Everton he was unplayable, ball to him chest down and then lay off,or a monster with a crossed ball!! I’m not an expert especially with man Utds systems but does anyone know why he hasn’t been so effective at Utd???
Herrera hasn’t been great
He’s been terrible, lol. Which is unexpected since in the first 3 games he was probably their best player. Too many players have been shite: Her/Mata/Januzaj. I hate to say it but RvP did ok considering. Though, he should have been in position for at least one of those Di Maria crosses. Di Maria was their best player by far. ZOMG, the Mata free kick summed it all up. TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I knew I shouldn’t have cap ADM still got 45 so need him to do something
who is getting subbed for fellani?
Half the team?
haha i love it epl drama/ fpl drama
Hererra has been subbed, good thing he was piss poor. However, Fellaini was that last season almost every game, still, more chance of Di Maria assist now.
