Fantasy Football 247 Site Team News Double Gameweek 25
Welcome to FF247 Site Team DGW25
Our Solanke to Darwin move paid off to the tune of 2pts (Darwin’s 6pts vs Solanke’s 4pts) and whilst Jota (C) looks decent with 14pts, it was the wrong choice as the robot returned with a brace and 26pts for the majority who wisely handed him the armband. Ouch. However, the halftime substitution of Alexander-Arnold was more painful. 4pts was a glimpse of what could have been, and now sadly, he’s out of the double gameweek.
We can’t complain too much though, because whilst we had 4 players returning 3 or fewer points, we also had Saka (15pts), Saliba (12pts) and Palmer (10pts).
We finished the Game week with 85pts, 23pts over the 62pt average. Our rollercoaster journey of recent weeks continues with a green arrow propelling us from 6,588 up to 3,886.
Our Gameweek 24 Result
We have £0.1m in the bank and 2 free transfer to use ahead of DGW25. Let’s go see what was decided….
Our GW25 Transfer(s)
Our team looks well set for the double game week with only the injured Alexander-Arnold a pressing matter. We quickly decided to replace Trent and roll our second Transfer. With potentially 9 players in GW26, two free transfers will be needed to field a full 11 without hits and as ever, we favour the more reserved approach and the flexibility that having 2FTs brings.
The vote was taken and Trent to his teammate Virgil van Dijk was unanimous. Virgil keeps our DGW payer quota to a healthy 6, with a trio from both City and Liverpool favoured over Luton and Brentford players. Haaland takes the armband with the vote to hand him our Triple Captain chip again a unanimous vote.
To confirm then we have SOLD Alexander-Arnold and BOUGHT Virgil van Dijk
Captain – Haaland (TC)

PREDICTED LINE-UPS
Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

Hi guys! Would you rather play Solanke (New A) or Palmer (City A)? Currently got Palmer benched simply because Newcastle have conceded a lot lately.
Start Solanke, that’s what I’m doing.
I’m having the same debate in my head. It really seems like it could be a coin toss to decide. Either and both could score.
Cheers guys, I think I’ll go with Solanke
Great work site team onwards and upwards. I’m torn between vvd and ake for trent. Vvd has better fixtures than ake and is nailed but obvs blanks next week so would have to take a -4.
Or do I go mad and do a -8. Trent, eze, palmer to Braithwaite, kdb and garnacho? Leaves my defence a bit light maybe
Probably just VVD for me.
All
Used my FT and brought in Darwin, good to go or should I take a hit? I have 1m ITB
no hits needed Mitro… Have you given any thought to Palmer vs. Kudus??
Do I stay with JWP or play Garnacho instead?
I think Garnacho edges it for me…. bigger chance of a haul… but that’s a coin flip for sure..
Yeah, I am leaning towards him as well, thanks.

Ok, what would you do here?
Just ditch TAA for, say Ake and bench Porro?
Certainly gives you some wiggle room with the moneys next week.. yeah… TAA to a playing doubler… Ake, VVD or Bradley…
Just worried by going with VVD or Bradley, that I will have a benching problem, especially with Konsa being out long term.
Maybe Ake might be the best option.
Think I would play garnacho
