We continue our climb up the rankings with another solid performance despite (like many) leaving Tsimikas and his 15pts first on our bench. With new signing Saliba picking up 9pts on his debut for us we would have loved those 15pts instead of the 1 a-piece we got from the Newcastle duo Trippier and Schar.
Thankfully everything else went swimmingly, 32pts for captain Salah, 8pts from Bowen, and 6pts from Palmer making up for the 2pts we got from both Gordon and Mbeumo. Upfront it was business as usual with 16pts from Haaland and 6pts from Watkins.
We finished the game week with 84pts, taking us up to 824 points overall, which was enough to seal yet another green arrow moving us from 2130 up to the heady heights of 1,326th. We’re enjoying this season!
We’re gluttons for punishment and we just had to see where we could have been had we started with Tsimikas, a quick check reveals we would have moved up to 229th. Now that would have been quite something!

If you haven’t realised by now, when we can, we favour rolling a transfer. We could have made a move on Bowen but there seems no concrete evidence he’ll miss GW13 so we’re happy to let our bench fill in should we need it. This frugal approach has served us well and with that in mind, it was a unanimous vote in favour of rolling our single transfer.
We still have our first wildcard tucked away in our back pocket, we have no idea as yet when we will play that, for now, things seem to be progressing nicely and as ever we’re happy to just go with the flow.
There doesn’t seem to be a standout captain this week, so we’re happy to go with the masses and hand it back to Haaland who we expect to start and will likely be the highest captained, that’s good enough for us! Salah take the VC just in case the robot malfunctions!

Our valiant quest for the FPL title continues with yet another green arrow despite a glaring error that thankfully, in the end, didn’t hurt us too badly!
Site team looking in good shape, mine not so much.
What would you do with this lot 2ft and 0.4itb defence is a bit rough and a non playing 5th mid isnt great
Not easy that. Getting Anderson to Palmer is probably the play there. Raising the 0.5m is your issue. I’d suggest Diaby to JWP, Gordon or Eze? But then you’d have a benching headache each week and still have a questionable defence

Just logged into see a few players flagged.
Any suggestions or should I hold, long term plan is to bring in Salah.
Currently have 1FT & 1.2 ITB
Looks like you need a keeper..unless you just don’t mind… not sure I’ve got the answer as to who.. but Haaland should play, Archer can cover Bowen and I’d move Udogie into the starting over Tsimi… the last one is a gut call… struggling with it myself…

Help please… I have defensive concerns… I’ll be starting Trippier and Saliba but can’t decide on the last starter and bench order for Livramento, Udogie, Tsimikas….

Was thinking the following:
Mitoma->JWP and Mubama->Semenya or Archer. (Who would be the better?)
As for captain – was going to have a punt on Bowen, but too risky now. JWP might be a risk as well.
Just Mitoma to JWP. Son probably a good capo shout there.

Sorry, didn’t even consider who Mubama was before, never mind who he actually ‘played’ for!
I got JWP myself anyway, if that’s any recommendation to go by.
Init – it was my intention to get JWP before the IB.
With the assists he has been getting, it was a no brainer getting him in.
Assume its a no to transferring IN Bowen?
I expect him to play but it’s still a risk if it’s for a transfer in I suppose.
