Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW19. We have finally got a red arrow unfortunately. For what is a rarity this season but our 42 points, while above the average of 36 points was not enough to get us a green arrow. We have dropped from 1,992 to 3,456 (we love order). This is still an amazing rank and we will keep pushing for that number 1 spot!

We have £7.1 in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of GW19. Let’s go see what was decided… nothing. We decided to do nothing and just roll. Or did we…

Our initial thinking here was to simply do a Fonzie and walk away with the 2 FT’s. That was until the sharper ones amongst us (essentially just the sober ones on Christmas Day!) realised that having 2 FT’s, along with a use it or lose it Wildcard was a bit overkill / daft!
As such we may as well do a Hail Mary. Son was considered but all of our other mids look ok for this one. Trent, with Burnley away, and him on form, seemed to be the other obvious one. Along with having cash to burn, and a WC to fix any budget balancing issues by Saturday.
Konsa away at Man United looks like our only real weak link, potentially. But we decided to keep him anyway, albeit on the bench, as we would most likely want some Villa coverage on the WC, plus he’s gone up 0.1m this week. Always thinking… Branthwaite was decided on as the fall guy instead.
To confirm then we have SOLD Branthwaite and BOUGHT Trent

Which of these directions should I head in… got 1 FT and 6.1 ITB.
1) Attack this week. Tsimi/Cash to TAA. Means a hit to get Erling back for GW20.
2) Keep it simple. Tsimi/Cash to Gusto. Leaves enough for a Darwin to Erling straight swap for GW20.
3) Any other ideas?
