Fantasy Football 247 Site Team News Gameweek 33
The rollercoaster ride continues
Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW33
Our yo-yo season continues as another bad week sees us with our second red arrow on the bounce. 50 points was sadly 6 below the average and we slipped from 1337 to 3145. At such a high overall rank these frequent highs and lows seem to come with the territory, but rather than bring us down, the red arrows only serve to make the green arrows more pleasing.
With Foden failing to make it off the City bench, we were reliant on Zabarnyi off our bench, sadly his 1-point return was not the only one in our back line with both Virgil and Konsa matching the Cherries centre half. Petrovic, Muniz and Solanke didn’t do much better with 2-a-piece. Thankfully our midfield trio all did relatively well, though of the 3 we chose to captain the lowest scoring which is mildly annoying but in truth handing Saka the armband with his recent injury concerns was never a consideration.
So there you have it, a week to forget as we inch closer to the Wildcard. Our bench is lit up like a Christmas tree with Foden Joining Areola, Botman and Hee Chan on the injury list. Will we do anything about it? Well, lets go see what we decided to do!
Our Gameweek 32 Result
We have £1.8m in the bank and 2 free transfer to use ahead of GW33. Let’s go see what was decided….
Our GW33 Transfer(s)
With the potential injury to Foden we did consider moving him on, Diaz and Havertz were mooted but with Pep giving no clarity (surprise, surprise) we’ve decided to keep him for now. So instead we finally turn our attention to the injured Botman. With a budget of £6.3 and an eye on double GW34 we decided to lock in our third Arsenal spot. Gabriel was voted in unanimously and we roll our second FT, giving us flexibility come next week’s double.
Captaincy was next on the agenda with salah and haaalnd the obvious candidates. I went back and forward on this one personally but when I finally decided to give my vote to Haaland it took the vote to 4 votes which was enough to secure him the win. Salah takes the vice just incase!
To confirm then we have SOLD Botman and BOUGHT Gabriel
Captain – Haaland

PREDICTED LINE-UPS
Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

Both leagues will be shut to new entrants as of 01/01/24.
Not sure what to do this week, any suggestions? 2FTs and 0.9 to spend.
What’s the chip strategy mate? FH for 34 or building towards it?
I only have WC and BB left.
Bring in Arsenal defence for the double gw, also bring in another doubling midfielder, Foden can make way to fund these moves
Foden starts so I’d hold that move. Maybe an Everton, Palace or Wolves defender for Lascelles?
Bradley from Liverpool at £4.3 in place of Lascelles, Liverpool have a DGW in GW34.
Morning all.
For two game weeks, would you go A or B?
A. Havertz – AVL / wol / CHE
B. Palmer – EVE / ARS
Havertz
Morning all. Am looking for a Cash replacement that doubles in GW34 and could play this GW? Funds are limited though.
Van hecke
Unfortunately doesn’t double in 34.
maybe a palace defender. chris richards would have been cheap at 3.9 but he is flagged. you can go tyrick mitchell
Bradley from Liverpool who I think I am going to get (My team is reply 10 below) or Gusto from Chelsea, they have 2 DGW.
This okay?
I did Areola > Fabianski as FT.
Foden for diaz or not. Got 2 ft dont want to lose one/. Any other thoughts
foden will be starting this afternoon
