Fantasy football team tips hints Lovely DGW! You know sometimes there comes a time to quit a cult, which is just another way of saying that we wish we hadn’t been caught idolizing a Liver bird. Never trust Liverpool, never trust Liverpool, never… you get the drift, this was our Gerrard slip. Lucky to stay inside the top 3K, we dropped to 2882nd place. Now here comes the sign from a higher power that we should not trust the Scousers. We dropped 666 :satansmoking: places! We read the sign loud and clear, sell everything wearing red, Sterling, Moreno, Henderson and Kop. But before we sell everything, let us run a quick review of the GW pain we went through.

As expected (somewhat) Ospina delivered a clean sheet for us. You might find it surprising to hear us say that, but CFC haven’t exactly been going for broke lately. So it wasn’t shocking to see the Colombian come up big and by big we mean almost knocking Oscar back to Brazil. Those Colombians are beautiful people. Our back line was fantastic! Well if you only count big John Terry and ignore the other two. With a goal and a CS he certainly did the business in the double. Might even send him a couple of lonely housewives as a reward. Speaking of DGW defenders, what about Moreno you ask? We need a hug :noshake: How dare you bring that up?! Simply said, sometimes we sack up and take a chance and they get chopped off. Oh well, our last defender Clyne did manage to play, but proved almost as useful as Moreno. PvA came in for the Spanish ghost and garnered us 2 points. Please let us now move to our midfield where I am sure our Double LFC and CFC put on a show.

Our Liverpool duo put on an “amazing” display. Hendo & Sterling combined for 10 points over the 2 games. Frankly we should have known better. Maybe if we had a Liverpool fan helping us decide on what transfers to make we would have not committed this folly 😉 The Scousers scored 0 goals in two games vs West Brom and Hull. We would say that is laughable if it wasn’t so painful. Our other 2 mids didn’t exactly show the Liverpool boys up. Our captain Eden Hazard managed to blank over 2 games and only grabbed 5 points, doubled up to 10. Fabregas, if not for a late assist against the Foxes, would have scored even less than his 3 midfield mates. We will now begrudgingly move onto our forwards, who at least have the excuse of having only played one game.

Charlie, Charlie, Charlie… missed a penalty and got a yellow. Thanks for that buddy. Well at least our other strikers did something positive. Young player of the year Harry Kane got us 5 points and was carried off the field by the English press. Argentinian Sergio Aguero scored at the Etihad and we saw all 3 fans applaud. And please City fans don’t write in to complain, assuming that empty blue chair can read and write.

Transfer(s) for GW35 – Sold everyone with Liverpool under their name
We jest of course. We wanted to, out of pure frustration, but they have a stay of execution. Namely QPR at home. The actual transfer was –

Sold Austin, bought Giroud
This was always the planned transfer and a sensible one we feel with DGW37 looming and of course he has Hull this week and he’s hot. (In form, hot). Let’s just hope he makes a better fist of it than our last lot did!

Our team in full…

Fantasy football team tips hints

Captain

Our captain this week is Eden Hazard
We had votes for Aguero and it could have gone either way really as he’s at Spurs and they can’t defend but the majority came down on Hazard to shine, on what should be ‘title day’ for Chelsea.

Our vice-captain is Sergio Aguero

The team in text format is –

Ospina
Terry Clyne Moreno (boooo)
Henderson (boo) Hazard (c) Sterling (boo) Fabregas
Giroud (beautiful) Kane Aguero

Subs: Myhill, Puncheon van Aanholt Baird

Help! Thinking of this squad for this week and saving my FT for next week to get Arsenal players in. Or should I make a transfer this week? The DGW was a big disaster. Cheers!

    Hi folks,

Would you mind rating my team? Had a nightmare DGW and so I’m looking to bounce back and get myself back into the top 10k and get my lead in the ML back to 50+ as it has been slashed to 35.

    My transfer plan is:
    GW35: Nothing
    GW36: Moreno > PVA
GW37: Silva > Rambo and Fab > Sanchez

I’m conscious that I have no Chelsea defence (which cost me big time in GW34) and so one thing I could do for a four-point hit (in the long run) is also take out Clyne for Azpilicueta in this gameweek, but that would also leave me with a dilemma of which three defenders to field out of four.

Let me know your thoughts smile

    afternoon all,

just doing some final tinkering and cant decided who to bench out of Silva, Kane & Henderson.

Currently have Silva sitting there as he has been really poor lately, but then do i need to play both Hendo & Sterling as liverpool have been awful too.

Quite fancy Kane to score v City so am less inclined to bench him

    Thoughts?

Good afternoon gang, how’s everyone doing? Wondering what I should do this week, thinking about dropping Skrtel for an Arsenal defender. Bellerin would leave me funds to upgrade Henderson next week, but his playing time is sketchy. I can just afford to get Mert/Kosc though. Or would you do something else or save the transfer?

    Davis (Mannone)
    Terry PvA Bertrand Skrtel Trippier
Silva Hazard Sanchez Henderson Ki Sung-Yueng
    Aguero Kane Giroud

    1 FT and .1 ITB.

Hey Red, Cookie mentioned Debuchy had a setback in training yesterday which should lockup Bellerin’s spot. I’m settled on going with Bellerin if that helps. Not sure who you’d upgrade Hendo to though, with 3 Arsenal already?

      • RedVT says:

Hey Colriles, what’s up man? I did read about Debuchy on Ben Dinnery’s twitter page, so that is good news for Bellerin. Is Debuchy his only competition? What about Chambers? Would love to save the money but I’m weary after seeing Moreno break a few hearts this past DGW. Not sure who I’d get in for Hendo, just thinking that anyone is better than a Liverpool player right about now- and that’s my club! :/
