Fantasy Football FF247 Team Gameweek 36
Continuing our downward trend, probably as further punishment for having invested in Liverpool the previous GW… we managed to drop 1741 spots and landed in 4623th place. You sorta know is not going to be your week when you have a 17 point keeper sitting on the bench. We hate to do this, but let’s quickly go over how our team performed or didn’t perform in GW35 before we discuss our transfer plans for the upcoming week.
Damn you Ospina! You just can’t trust a Colombian to deliver…well at least not in this realm of work. If leaving our huge score (Myhill) on the bench wasn’t enough, we had a poor showing from our back line to compound things. Clyne only brought in one point and PvA who came in off the bench for Moreno (boooo) only amassed two points. Our last defender John Terry was able to put up a respectable showing, but far from spectacular. Please let us move on to our wonderful midfield.
*$%#*# is about what we have to say about our double Liverpool mids. Hendo and Sterling have been a big disappointment since they were acquired. In fact we can see the plane flying over our team headquarters asking for the sacking of the two. Cesc hasn’t exactly gave us the kind of returns we hoped for since he re-entered our side. It seems the only one we can consistently count on is Hazard. Although he did scare us a bit there when he missed the penalty.
Leading our line we the had washed up Harry Kane who scored a yellow and nothing else. He was complimented beautifully by Giroud who was ignored by his Arsenal mates, as they looked to keep the play away from both Hull and Olivier in equal respect. In our last spot we had the always dependable Sergio Aguero who has now scored in 4 straight. Now please let us move along to GW36 and our plans, as 35 makes us noxious…

Transfer(s) for GW36 – Sold Clyne and Fabregas. Bought McShane and Sanchez
We could have made 9 different transfer combinations this week in all honesty as that’s how many were proposed initially and probably sums up the dilemma that most managers have this week. The Arsenal / Sunderland DGW ahead confuses matters somewhat for this week as we feel that any transfer not involving a DGW player may be a waste.
The weekly team meeting itself was an odd one as we had one board member cry off due to an imminent birth (welcome to the world Theodore, AKA Ed, Ted or even Teddy P), one cry off with a suspected coronary (seriously), and one just brazenly leave to watch cricket in the rain and get drunk! #Irish 😉
The initial plan was to get Benteke and leave Sanchez until next week but it was thwarted by a small price rise so instead we went straight to Plan B and brought Sanchez in for Fabregas. In order to do so we needed funds and so Clyne was the sacrificial lamb. We opted for a cheap and cheerful McShane at home against Burnley who haven’t scored for years. Knowing our recent luck they surely will but in theory a clean sheet covers our hit and sees us into Monday night happy to welcome Sanchez into our team with a goal or two against Swansea at home.

Our team in full…

Captain
Our captain this week is Sergio Aguero
No need for heroics this week when the main man is up against QPR at home!
Our vice-captain is Alexis Sanchez

Lads what’s the vibe on Ramsey as been away from my Tablet all day?
If you had him would you start him?
Or bench him and play safe?
Potty
He’s rated as 50/50 and word is he won’t be risked unless necessary so take from that what you will.
Cheers
Its a ankle knock which is worrying me, so I’ll bench him.
I see you’ve a slight lead in your CL 1st Leg semi?
So close so don’t blow it
Potty
Already did by transferring Messi out for Goofy. I deserve to be beaten just for that. Stupid, stupid.
Skrtel vs Chelsea
Rose vs Stoke
Wasilewski vs Southhampton
Terry vs Liverpool
PvA vs Everton
Which 3 defenders would you start this GW?
Or/Plus a 4th defender instead of my 5th midfielder Hendo??
Rose, Wasilewsksi and Terry for me
+1 for Rose, Was, Terry
Morning all. Man, i have quite a few articles to catch up on! Before i do, any hits seem worthy here? I’m expecting Ramsey to miss out and don’t really want any Liverpool players coming in. Still, worthwhile hits are hard to come by this late in the season, eh? 0 FT, 0.7m in the bank.
morning mate . I’m a bit behind in 2 leagues and thinking something a bit different. Will cisse play from the start today and can Newcastle play any better ? Elmo for Henderson ? or even albrighton or Gomez . but then I think it’s better to do no hits and save it for next week when Ramsay plays double . I currently have Sanchez anyway for this week .
NIN,
you think Murray will play 90 minutes?
I’d say it’s 2 trfs or none Nin. Benteke for Murray funded by Ivanovic.
Hi folks,
Did my transfers too early this week hence the made-of-glass Ramsey appearing there. Will bring in Sanchez and PVA next week as things stand to hopefully have 5 DGW players. Come on Ramsey, lad, get better asap!
Would you mind rating my team for this week?
Cheers!
no Sanchez is a bit of worry but apart from that looks good
Morning all. I’d appreciate any thoughts on my team please?
Zero in the bank but unlimited transfers (forgot I had WC until last night!)
If I was on a wildcard I would be tempted to lose some Chelsea coverage now that they have won the league. Who knows what mou will do now. Maybe look at Benteke and Silva also
