Fantasy Football Fixture Tracker FPL 2019/20
Welcome to our FPL Fixture Tracker for the 2019/20 FPL season. And so it begins…
It’s baby steps at this stage as we don’t know any player prices or indeed have a game to play yet but the Premier League released their fixture schedule earlier today and so we have started the ball rolling by creating our first Fixture Tracker of the season.
What is it?!
Regular users will be familiar with the simple and easy to use layout of our FPL Fixture Tracker. For anyone new to it, it simply does what it says on the tin; it’s a straight forward and easy to follow guide as to what fixtures lay ahead for each and every team. There are vastly more complicated versions of this available in other spheres (mainly on twitter!), some of which seemingly promise to tell you who will be subbed on 59 minutes with a clean sheet in the bag in GW4. Ours is not so prophetic.
When we do our weekly Fixtures Analysis article we typically present the next 6 fixtures and that is exactly what this version shows. There will be a fuller one available showing all games from GW1-19 in the next few days for those who like extreme planning.
We colour code each game in line with the key below it to reflect our opinion on the difficulty or otherwise of each fixture. At such an early stage, with no form or indeed transfer news to go from, this is of course pure guesswork, based mainly on last season and simply classifying the promoted teams as being just that. We shall of course update this as we move closer to the season beginning in August.

It’s more difficult not to locate our tracker than it is to do so but just to be clear the latest version of it can be found at the end of almost every article each day of the season.

We have deliberately swerved any actual fixture analysis here as that will come in due course, as will our usual analysis of all three promoted teams and also our take on the summer signings (whenever anyone wakes up and begins to actually make any!) in a series of articles as we slowly build up to GW1.

Is there no free hit this year or is just not playable in gw1?
Yeah it’s still there. Nothing has changed this season, which is why we haven’t jumped in with a ‘It’s Live / Rules’ style article.
So I have hung on in the U21 euros scrabbling around the bottom 3 of the FF league. Looking at the points and it seems that Waldschmidt didn’t get an assist and Dahoud didn’t get a penalty awarded. The W assist is every where you look on the web yet these Polish guys can’t see it.
I haven’t paid attention to their site to see if they adjust or don’t adjust afterwards. They do have a twitter handle.
Just checked and they have come through with both. Just seems to take a long time.
They are in Polland mate, get a grip. Also, they are smashing us all in our league so their probably just trolling you (us) in the process with those delays!
Siggy or Richarlison
Siggy without doubt for me
Last season the prices made it debatable, but at the same price point I don’t think there is much doubt, Siggy for me.
Bit early to say. Siggy has a lot of fans out there but I’d give it some thought. Richarlison has a tendency to start brightly.
Word is that Richarlison has the mumps. Apparently he has been isolated from the rest of the team in Brazil, assuming he recovers in the next 1-2 weeks, but I know nothing about it, so could be really wrong on that.
You should be more creative. ‘Word is Richarlison has got the jack’.
It may be no bad thing, in fact, to spread a few false rumours (‘Sanchez has a superstition about the number 7’), in order to make us feel relief when we realise the player is safe and well and bound to start for us and score us points. Not that I’m saying the mumps is a false rumour, though you don’t cite any source, suspiciously.

A couple of notable absences (at least for now). Rondon didn’t do too badly on loan at Newcastle last season. West Ham are currently most likely to sign him. Tielemans did me proud at the end of last season, and it looks likely Leicester will make that loan move permanent, and if the price is right I can see him in my team.
My first RMT of the season. It’s amazing what you can get if you ignore Salah and Sterling.
Yeah, but trying to get by City’s and LFC’s fixtures with only KdB as the only attacking player from those sides seems a bit too daring for me to start the season.
Yes – I can see where you’re coming from with Bournemouth (until it comes to a screeching halt in GW3) – have King myself at the moment (and Brooks is on my radar, wish he was a tad cheaper). I’m not sure I’d over-egg my side with three of their players. However I suppose as cheap placeholders for the always tricky GW1 and 2, not a bad option at all.
As per Mito’s comments I think you may regret being thin on City/Liverpool attack, though I imagine you’re hoping Kane and Auba will cover that (and hopefully they will). If I go big up top it may well be Kun (though to do that I may have to pick a 3/5/2).
Spurs aren’t far from my mind (am thinking Moura). But Liverpool and City dominate my current thinking.

My first real draft. It will ofcourse change it always does. I thought I would have Sterling but then I saw that Kane price and can’t really go with all three.
Anyway onto it I have Heaton in goal. Burnley won’t have Europe this year and he made the place his own last year. Could Pope be number one this year possibly but I will take one of them. Historically Burnley keepers pick up a load of save points. Other one will just be a fodder.
In defence I can’t really choose between Robertson and TAA. Liverpool have a great start and these two are crucial in their attacks. I just think they are worth the extra cash because of their attack threat. Plus they are not too much more than the competition defenders. Then I have Mendy, City have said they won’t be signing a LB and if fit he should be number one over Zinchenko. He’s great going forward and should in theory be over those injury problems after a long break. I think there is a possibility of some 4 million options so these could change. Gibson is strongly linked with a move, Kelly could play at RB now or at CB if Palace still have injuries. Reid missed last season but was a regular before. Rico was signed for a fair amount of money and should be fit now.
In midfield I have Salah. Should be on pens as Milner will get less GT. a price reduction and a soft start plus only a bit more expensive than Mane. KDB will be fully fit now and prove to be a regular again after his long break. Can he cover Aguero and Sterling, maybe not but may come close. Sanchez has found some form in the Copa America and at 7 million could be a steal if he gets game time. Yes he could be Zaha easily if this does not look likely. Gundogan is in there at the moment but I don’t really like it and could be someone else. When he plays he’s pretty good value. I have had Jorginho (will we see more pens) in there as well. I quite like the look of Hudson-Odoi price now Hazard has gone but will he be fit and I’ll need an extra 0.5. Dendoncker is the chosen fodder as he became a regular last season at Wolves and does get in the box.
Up front I find it hard to ignore Kane’s price. Always there or there abouts when it comes to the golden boot. Bournemouth have a kind start and though King might not be Wilson I do not think he’s 1.5 million off and is on pens. Arnie/Giroud rounds it off currently. Will have to keep an eye on if West Ham sign a striker and his fitness. I also like the look of Giroud at that price a lot so he might easily be in. I’m expecting him to be first choice over Abraham to start.
That’s my initial thoughts feel free to rip it apart
If the season were starting today, I could see many fielding a team similar to that. Will watch Alexis close tonight to see if he really does pass the eye test. Watched him a little vs Uruguay and he looked like United Alexis with the occasional little flash of Arsenal Alexis, but it wasn’t a great effort vs a top defence. He plays another strong defence tonight, let’s see if he improves in his contribution to Chile tonight.
Kane strikes me as cheap, could be just me. I get the price drop, but if fully recovered and he should be, he should do well.
Yeah I would have been all set on Sterling instead of Kane as was expecting them to be both 12 but 11 for Kane seems too good to ignore. As for Sanchez yeah it really is wait and see and if he finds any sort of form but that could be so cheap
I really like the team, was reassured to see someone else playing a 3/4/3, and can see many people nicking that side – came close myself. I’ve jumped in on Kelly after getting excited about the possibility of a 4m player.
Looking at some obvious differences between my side and yours: I’m currently and possibly unwisely on Ryan in goal, after a quick look at Brighton’s fixtures, not that that means much; I slotted in Moura but take your (and others’) points about Kane (I currently have Vardy). I don’t know a lot about Gündogan and suspect you may have him as a placeholder.
Man U and Chelsea – and to some extent Arsenal – I want to have a look at first so maybe an Everton mid – two good choices there, mumps or not, if you can stretch to that. Or B Silva and ditching Gündogan.
But it’s a good solid start and if you suddenly lost internet access would get you plenty of GW1 points I’m sure.
