AJ owners. Keeping or selling?
Delph vs Amalfitano?
Which one to buy as a 5th cheapie mid? A possibility that i would play one of them over Eriksen in DGW.
I’d say Delph
You sure? Delph has been dry since the past 5 GWs despite facing Fulham, Palace, SOTON and Swansea.
Amalfitano has averaged 6 points in the past 5 GWs, from which 2 were against Spurs and City.
Meh, I just rate Delph really, I think he’s looked really good at times. Especially against Chelsea. But form is important when it comes to FPL so your call…
I don’t think I’d play either over Eriksen though.
Evening gents, I ask, which do you think is the best way to make funds?
a) sell Lallana for AJ
b) sell Lallana for Sterling
c) sell Distin for Chester
The first 2 options mean playing Vlaar and the chosen mid, the last gives the alternative option to play Chester instead along with Lallana. ..
A)
I prefer Vlaar over Chester this DGW. Both are actually turn offs to be honest. Chester is just a cheap way to get 4 points in the DGW, 2 away games, cant see cleanies. And AV is just pathetic, so wont bet on Vlaar’s points, but he still has a home game there.
AJ has more potential to score more than Lallana as well.
Thanks – AJ looks decent for the DGW – but it does concern me that Sunderland scored 4 today without being involved…
…I might take him out for Sterling the following week, form dependant, as Raheem has Newcastle at home…
Also I know, Vlaar’a my only/main weak link really.
I wouldn’t bother with bringing Chester in, I can’t see them getting much out of their two fixtures.
If its between Sterling and AJ then I’d go AJ, I reckon Liverpool could struggle at Palace next week following the setback today.
So big moves planned but it would incur an 8pt hit!
Gerrard, Eriksen and Suarez out.
Mata, Yaya and Podolski (or other forward for 9.1 in)
Leave me with a team of:
Speroni (Adrian)
Cahill – Kosc – Vlaar (Coleman) (Chester)
Ramsey – Yaya – Nasri – Mata
Aguero – Rooney – 9.1m striker
Worth the hit for the DGW or not?
Shadow… looks good – except would you not miss Suarez in the last week when he faces Newcastle at home? I appreciate that’s quite a conservative viewpoint, and if you want to gamble, they look like great moves  It’d be grear to hear your thoughts on my post above.
Yes that’s the only nagging doubt I have, but I think Mata and Yaya are a MUST have for the dgw.
I could take Nasri out instead of Eriksen and downgrade Coleman to a cheapie (like 4.1m defender) just would mean getting rid of NAsri who has a DGW
That’s another option, as Coleman’s an expensive asset to have sat on the bench, afterall. Definitely worth considering.
Thanks above by the way, think I’ll go Vlaar and AJ, both have DGWs and it simplifies who to play/bench.
If I leave it another night then with price rises it will probably be Suarez who makes way. 2 goals in his last 6 isn’t that impressive of a return anyway.
That’s what I’ll keep telling myself anyway!
Consider getting Borini.
DGW, in form, and you already have Ramsey.
Team looking like this. Made transfers a bit too early i think.
MANNONE
ZABS – CHESTER – Azpi
YAYA – MATA – AMALFITANO – Ramsey
AGUERO – ROONEY – Suarez
Bench: Marshall – Eriksen – Olsson – Ward
The B – team looks great to me. I don’t know about benching Eriksen though.
