Well GW30 plus is in the books (cue the fake crowd noise) and onto GW31+ we go.
As always we shall endeavour to post the line-ups prior to each phase of the relevant GW and our usual FPL Countdown Timer (to be found above the latest comments section) is once again be active.
Tips will be dispensed in the chat below but feel free to get involved in said chat, whether that’s asking for advice or answering others.
FF247 SITE TEAM GW31+
This is where LMC takes a slight twist. Given the lack of opportunity to post any full or meaningful articles it is our intention to simply post our weekly transfer and Captain choice on here prior to each deadline. As a result this article will be posted way in advance of when it usually is, probably not long after any given GW ends.
Our GW30+ Result, in brief
Yep, we nearly got there but some combo of Pep, Aguero and Egan defeated our 100 point ambition. We landed on 96. Captain Kun managed just 55 minutes across his DGW, albeit with two assists. Sterling was the only one of our City boys to actually register 90, albeit all in one game. Doherty somewhat rescued us with his 12 in his SGW and clearly we should have captained KdB as he top scored with 15.
As for our rank we have risen about 25k this week, a green arrow is better than a red arrow so we will take it. That makes 4 out of the last 5 GWs that we have risen, so the trend is good, now we just need to get inside 100k and make a late push up the overall. The site team now sits in 141,956th place. Here is the side that almost made us triple digit proud. 
GW31+ TRANSFER
We have SOLD and BOUGHT…… nobody
We may be doing this in a slightly unorthodox fashion but one of the reasons we played our Free Hit last week was that we liked our team, as it was, for GW31+. Turns out we liked it that much that we felt we may be somewhat justified to play our BB this week. That was until Leno (or more accurately Maupay?) put paid to that thought. We could have replaced him but in all honesty whoever came in would probably simply end up playing second fiddle to Pope for the remaining games. So we’ve left that thought for now and feel we have a strong XI for this week.
GW31+ CAPTAIN
Our Captain for GW31+ will be Raúl Jimenez
Jimmy got the majority of the votes and it’s easy to see why for anybody who witnessed both his and Bournemouth’s performances in GW30+.
Our Vice-Captain will be Bruno Fernandes. Should Jimmy fail to start we’re confident that Bruno can step into the breach as he’s faces a Sheffield United defence shorn of Henderson, Egan & potentially O’Connell.

That looks suspiciously auto-filled in places to me – forgive me if it isn’t.
I wouldn’t have any non-players in this time of speedy GW turnarounds.
I would ditch Cantwell to a cheaper playing mid and get Traore in as the Wolves’ mid.
Holgate in as a defender instead of Aarons.
If you need more dosh then think about Martinez in goal.
That’ll be £750 please (I offer a discount for the first piece of advice I give).

Got the basic shape right but you need to pimp your defence.
Rashford Cantwell and Moutinho to Nketiah Martial and Guendozi/Luiz/Hayden should raise you some funds.
AWB, Aurier and Saiss all look good and have great fixtures.
How about a 4-3-3 formation? Could this work?:
Martinez
TAA, Lascelles, Doherty, Holgate
KDB, Fernandes, Salah
Rashford, DCL, Jimenez
Bench: Button, Davis, Guendouzi, Kilman
Wow Kralin, as you can already see, I’m quite cash strapped at the moment! So I hope that you offer £750 discount!

I am not planning on doing any transfers and that’s me this week (just waiting for team news and injury updates – mainly Salah).
The captain will be decided by a coin toss because evidently, I clearly suck at choosing the right one.

Looking good! Your goalkeeper’s fixture isn’t ideal, but if that’s the only thing you have to worry about, I’d say you’re doing alright! Hot to trot!
I have 0.5 itb which is just enough for Pope if there are no price changes. That was the initial plan but between all these 5 players who are negotiating their contracts and tonight’s performance, it kinda threw me off a bit.
Pope could go up soon, over 90k transfers in this round.

Hi all, have activated my wildcard and have my FH should I need it. How does this team look for the run in? I’m not sure about the Mane / Salah pick. Quite like what I have seen from Bergwijn too. Any help very appreciated.
@SpecialK, Think you have a lot of the players that people will want over the next few weeks. Your keeper situation does confuse me a little, I am not sure I be willing to buy a second keeper for that price when you can just buy a much cheaper one who still plays and save money,
I’d drop Foster (or Pope, depending which you wanted to keep), Saka and Baldock for cheaper players. Say you went for Button, Guendouzi and Kiko Fermenia, that would free up £2.5m, so you could possibly upgrade Armstrong to Bergwijn with a bit left over if my sums are right!
Depends if he has a BB left, may be looking to set up for that. For eg, ref. no Button like characters.

Used my BB in GW30+ and landed on a very happy 117 points but my team has no playing keepers, a suspended Egan and too many Villa/City players lol so WC’ing to reset.
That was an earlier draft, I actually had Martinez but it probably does make more sense to just bring in Button and then reduce the costs of my Bench fodder. I really have forgotten how to play this game lol

That’s a nice looking team. It’s not ideal to be without Mane or Salah, but then bringing them in would then mean big cuts elsewhere. Not great when it’s all for one player, as the culmination of who you have instead could bring in a better points tally.
I like the Spurs DEF pick, remember when they were great source of points? I have Salah/Mane (keep switching between the two on a WC too) because I’m too worried to not have one of them. Its risky but could pay off too like it did last weekend.
Who is your goal keeper? I have Pope, but seriously worried having about him on WC. :scratch_one-s_head:

Too much of money on the bench. And a bot extra on the def. May be play 3-4-3 with 2 cheap defs and a cheapo MF on the bench.Then upgrade Grealish to Saalah/Mane, if possible.
