Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34. Its double time!! A huge week of footy awaits, 14 games, starting on Saturday and with at least one game each day until we finish on Thursday. Wow. We kick off Saturday lunchtime with a date on the south coast as FA Cup semi-finalists Southampton and Chelsea have a warm-up for their Wembley date next week. Just four 3pm matches follow as Burnley host Leicester, Brighton go up to Palace, Huddersfield welcome Watford and Swansea and Everton meet at the Liberty. The first evening match, yes there are two, this week is that good(!) sees Liverpool host Bournemouth before the main event sees Wembley welcome Man City as they play Spurs. Don’t book any plans for Saturday evening!

Sunday is a calmer affair – Arsenal travel up to Newcastle before Man Utd enjoy shooting practice at West Brom.

Monday evening sees a night under the lights at West Ham. That used to be intimidating until they moved house. Stoke are the visitors and Arnie gets a go at his former employers.
Midweek sees the 2nd game for our double game-weekers. We start Tuesday as Spurs venture down to Brighton.

Wednesday sees Man Utd also take a trip to the south coast, to Bournemouth before we finish on Thursday with our last two matches as Burnley host Chelsea and Leicester welcome the hapless Southampton.

What’s not to like eh? Go well.

  3. Lol, I’ve sat through all that dross in the 1st half, missed 10 mins and missed getting 2 goals and an assist smile I may just not watch the rest as I always seem to do better when I don’t!

    • Init what’s your thoughts on Everton defensive cover this week? I’m thinking Coleman and possibly Pickford but not sure if they get a CS.

      • Wouldn’t bank on a CS. I’d take Baines or Coleman but only in the hope of attacking returns. I’ve gone Baines because of that and because there’s not a fat lot else in terms of ‘guaranteed’ CS’s really.

        • Yeah that’s what I was thinking. Was leaning towards Coleman but if money needs to be spent elsewhere Baines will definitely come in. I wish we could choose not to have a keeper this week. They all look crap haha

        • I’ve got Ederson as we speak but hopefully someone asks Pep directly about the Bravo medal situation.

    • Think I’m on 23 from 3 from the 1st part of this 2nd phase which is a dam sight more promising than the 1st phase which saw me on 33 from 11! Lukaku needs to step up for me too. A CS would be even better.

          Salah v Son wasn’t exactly a direct decision but yeah taking that as a comparison point isn’t bad and it could really have gone tits up if Salah had gone mad again!

        • I doubt Pogba plays in all honesty. He was borderline embarrassing on Sunday. His decision making for his teammates in the passes he plays them is atrocious. Jose played down the early subbing as due to the yellow but it wasn’t that at all and anyone who saw the game and his ‘performance’ knows it.

          Pogba may never(ever) play for UTD again…
          Apparently he is shortlisted for a “shock” exit…

          He doesn’t like/agree with Jose’s midfield formation and thinks it doesn’t suit his style of play…
          Jose is just being Jose…
          And Raiola is already working on his exit…

      • Pretty sure you’ll be both fine tomorrow, I’m expecting a goal from him at the least. But for Ben Foster you’d be well off the mark already. That was a ridiculous save from the header.

        • yeah. he was superhuman against manu. i do expect the minimum1 goal or assist tomorrow from luka. still it is painful for me to see 26 points from my bench this week and not able to cash it in lol

        • totally. the relegation threatened teams shone this week out of all the weeks lol. 48 so far and my ML leader is 76. 84 behind now although he has 3dgw players left and i got 8(at most 5 if chilwell, willian and lingard is benched)

        • I think they will all play. Lingard certainly will anyway!
