Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 1 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36GW1 is live! What better way to kick off the season than with a lunch time match up with 4th place implications written all over it. United will look to secure an early 3 point advantage over perennial Europa League participators, but non-contenders to win, Spurs. At 3pm we have 4 games on the menu. Recently promoted Bournemouth carry the hopes and dreams of many FPL investors as they take on Sherwood and the Benteke-less eleven. In another game that features a recently promoted side, Watford travel to Goodison Park where Everton will be playing for the only 3 points they stand a chance of winning until Christmas. In an early relegation battle we see the Foxes welcome the Black Kitties from Sunderland. If that wasn’t enough of a preview of the probable bottom of the table this season in the 3pm games, we add the also promoted Canaries to the fray, who play host to the Liverpool dream killers, Crystal Palace. In the last game of the day, Chelsea will look to continue taking the manhood away from Swansea as they look to humiliate the Swans with another pasting similar to those of last season.

On Sunday we have three fixtures. Arsenal will look to impress and have all Gooners excited and proclaiming them Champions after week one. Saints (the Liverpool B team) will travel to Newcastle and hope to make their mother club proud, with an away win. Speaking of mother, Liverpool will travel to Stoke where they look to exorcise their demons and by that I mean the memory of Glen Johnson.

The game-week finishes off with the Baggies looking to stop the vaunted City attack with a taller, wider custom made bus. Can’t wait to see the twitterverse explode about Sterling and proclaim the investment on him a complete failure or success based on one half.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the fanteam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Sterling was less than impressive today. Was considering selling Hazard to fund Aguero if Sterling looked good, that’ll be an easy decision now. Looking forward to my 2 FT after GW2 already, very disappointing start to the season.

Looks like Chelsea is signing a left back for £17m. Do we really think they will buy a bench player for that amount of money?

MNF FPL Watch: (not much yous don’t already know…)
    – West Brom vs Man City:
West Brom: Not a very typical Tony Pulis side at the back and their fixtures don’t ease up to make them anyway appealing just yet. They didn’t offer much in attack at all and Rondon as well as a creative midfielder are badly needed, avoid in full for the foreseeable future!
Man City: Defenders are either too expensive or a high rotation risk although many may get Hart in for Courtois, who did look solid tonight! With 30 minutes under his belt, Kun is likely to start against Chelsea which may get people buying him sooner than they expected and perhaps replacing their City midfielder, of which Yaya looks to be the best value for money option.

So then, our final scores are in, just 28 points here. Dead last in all but one of my mini-leagues. What a start…

To be honest I’m actually kind of excited: the challenge of making a comeback should be fun!

Lots of talk about changes on here. Just because Hazard, Fab, sterling, the Arsenal boys etc have blanked does not make them bad players and need replacing. You have to give it a chance, your initial team weren’t picked on the wim

Keeping Sterling, not going to replace him just yet, saving my FT, got a comfortable 38 points this week so above average which is great!
