I was caught between playing Terry, Dier and Clyne in my final CB spot and I think i’ll go with Terry, just due to how solid Chelsea are defensively and his GS threat. What do you think?
I would go with Dier but I cannot see a spurs shutout.

Hi guys, I am back after a long time away, work getting in the way of fantasy football which is unacceptable and have made my boss aware lol!! just wondering if anybody will be jumping on di Maria or ballotelli or will it depend on prices?

      Hi AJ, welcome back!

I think it will depend on prices and on how well other players in that price bracket are performing. There will be lots who will get them in early but I for one will want to see how involved they will be with their respective clubs.

It is good to be back. I am swayed towards di Maria and I think he is guaranteed to play every week at his price. I am hoping he will be around the 9mil mark but have a feeling he will be about 10.5 sad I have issues with my defence at the moment and even did a draft wc team but chickened out of confirming lol!! Any suggestions as without taking some points hits which I hate doing but I am Struggling for a quick fix. My WIldcard team was

      Krul fabianski

      Ivanovic, dier, Taylor, Hutton, wisdom.

      Silva, Ramsay, Siggy, Fabregas, Henderson.

      Rooney, Costa, Naismith.

      Any suggestions?

    My team;
    DDG* – Gilks
    Pieters – Chambers* – Terry – Hutton* – Baird**
    Fabregas – Mata – Ramsey – Siggy – Albrighton
    Pelle – Rooney – Costa

    * areas that need fixing sooner or later
** areas that need immediate fixing

    What changes would you make?

      * Pelle should also be added there 😉

      Pelle would be my priority

      • Raziel says:

I feel Pelle will come good and they still have great fixtures. Think he will start scoring soon, this week they need to train in bringing the ball to him. ;p

On that note, if Soton do get Townsend they are doomed.

DDG still has good fixtures, I’d hold onto him as it’s not a pressing issue.

Hutton, whats wrong with him? he seems nailed at the moment and for 4.1m you cant go wrong.

Baird, you can probably change for Dummett if you really wanted too.

Pelle’s fixtures are very strong and he is bound to score sooner or later, i’d hold onto him too unless you can see a better option for that price.

It’s a strong team but sooner or later your lack of premium defenders will cost you so you should try to address this in the next few weeks. Perhaps Pelle to Naismith if your desperate, this will set you up for a 5-6m defender next week.

      • Raziel says:

Hmmm. Pieters would be a great scorer once Stoke fixed the defense (so weird, same players, weaker defense). Will get van Aanholt in 2 weeks and he will have a couple of great fixtures, he’s also likely to score high. Janmaat I also consider to be premium, I could do Chambers to Janmaat, he looked like scoring a few times. At the moment looking at fixtures more than anything and the players I just named are attacking backs that will go forward and grab points if you add the favorable fixtures they should do well.

        • Janmaat could be a good move, fixtures are favourable for them and they have been looking good. Perhaps that. I’d also look at getting a Spurs and Southampton defender in there.

Hi all, had a better GW than last week which is always helpful, lots of green arrows going from 527,00 to now 137,000-hope everyone else had a good week too!
Looking onto GW3, i think i might take my first hit of the season, young 100% has to go and bojan is not performing points-wise! maybe i can give bojan one more go, but young is decreasing price so i am thinking of JWP, rodwell or even moses. thoughts? theres not much else in the low priced forwards range, so tempted to just leave it but not overally sure!!

    • 282.1

Eden I think you should definitely get Naismith but theres a plethora of options in the 4.5-5.5m bracket, just look at fixtures and form and you’ll find someone worthy.

      Calvin Clyne says:

I’m giving Bojan another chance. Haven’t seen MotD2 yet, but from BBC yday:

“Bojan is beginning to pull the strings for Stoke now as he drives forward from his own half and plays a slide-rule pass into Peter Crouch. The striker takes a shot, which loops into the direction of Mame Diouf following a deflection off Paul McShane but the striker heads wide.”

“Bojan is showing some real flashes of genius now – putting an almost-perfect ball into the box which Allan McGregor can only parry into the path of Peter Crouch who can’t react in time and the goalkeeper gathers the ball at the second attempt.”

Young to a 5.0 would be my suggestion.
