By the way Champions League fantasy kicks off again tomorrow. Don’t forget to sort your teams and you have unlimited transfers to do so.

Pathetic, the way they are running that site. It was actually better last season. Terrible.

      • FC Sanchez says:

+1 Yeah, terrible site. BUT the show must go on. In fact, some tasty match-ups await us. Can’t really call any of them… except maybe the Barca-Arsenal one (haha). Who are you guys looking to bring in?

        • DMC says:

Surely City will win theirs, so maybe Mr. Sergio?

        • inittowinit says:

Not looked yet mate, job for this evening.

        • FC Sanchez says:

True, DMC, although the first leg at Kyiv might be closer than you think (they drew w/ Chelski and Porto 0-0 and 2-2 at home). Futhermore, City have a ton of matches in the next bunch of weeks while I think the Ukrainian League is on a break (which could go both ways I guess, good or bad). Kyiv haven’t concede many in the Ukrainian League either. I’d imagine City will come through in the end though as they do have somewhat of a squad despite the injuries.

Evening all been looking what I’m going to do with the DGW how many players are we thinking of having. Think 6-7 is enough thoughts please.

I want 15 if possible smile

      Silvers says:

Mitro & Init how are you possibly going to go fwd after the DGW with 3 Pool ,Eve City & New I thk not.

Even with the bench boost it won’t work you won’t be able to balance your team again , come on guys have another shout.

      • inittowinit says:

        Ok. Sorry. 16 then?

They won’t be the only teams involved Silvers. Don’t forget that all those that miss GW30 will need rescheduling too. Depends which of the 2 available weeks they all agree upon but at least one of them could be a bumper one if not both as don’t forget there’s the FA Cup semi-finalists to account for also and they’ll have to go to GW37. The early ones may be forced upon GW34 also as a result or they’ll be risking some ridiculous fixture pile up and they won’t want that if they could potentially have a semi-final to contend with also.

        • Mitro says:

I believe we will have two opportunities to use the bench boost properly and like init said it could be either in 34 or 37! I have held patientially onto my chips whilst others above me in my ML have used all of there’s!! GW 34 for BB & GW37 for TC or vice versa depending on what we know closer to the time!! I personally believe this is where I can win my ML!! The fuckers are going down!!

      NIN says:

As many as possible! Wont be fifteen like some but hopefully more than six or seven.

    RedVT says:

Hey guys, how’s it going? I was wondering if people were making early transfers even though we’re almost 2 weeks out from the next deadline. Probably smartest to wait until the Friday before like usual, right?

    • 129.1
      inittowinit says:

Hi Red, not touching mine until then. My targets themselves are both on holiday but even so that doesn’t mean something can’t happen to one or two of the others in the meantime to change things. Plus we will know more after this weekend as to who else will likely have a blank GW30. That could change things drastically.

      • RedVT says:

Thanks Init, that was my gut feeling but I just wanted to make sure. I have a feeling I’m going to take a beating in the price market holding onto Ighalo who will be sold off like crazy, and watching Vardy rise the maximum as well. But I suppose points are more valuable than money in the long run and it seems like this year I can afford almost anything anyway. Budget performers like Mahrez, Alli, Payet, Ighalo, and Vardy have made things pretty easy in that regard this season.

        • inittowinit says:

You might get away with the Ighalo side of it as it’s not like he has a blank and it’s a decent looking fixture for him next.

        • RedVT says:

That’s true, I suppose if worse came to worse and there was a surprise somewhere else I could even keep Ighalo one more week and play him. But everybody and all their mates will be getting Vardy in for those 3 tasty home matches and I don’t want to lose out on those points!

      • Silvers says:

Init Who else is in the hat for blank GW ???

    AT says:

Hi all, nightmare situation: have three on blanks and two suspended!
Not really sure what to do. Fuchs for Simpson is tempting, and I think Firmino would have to be the other victim with Lukaku playing Villa next time round.

Unfortunately only have 1 FT and £0.1m in the bank but I won’t have 11 players if I don’t hit.
Thoughts? What a crappy situation, would any of you be tempted by the Wildcard if you were in my position?

    • 130.1
      inittowinit says:

      Oh dear! laugh

I wouldn’t WC mate just for the sake of avoiding a -4. Aguero to Vardy and Firmino to Alli should make the hit worthwhile. I know the Kun one is hardly ideal but given Vardy’s fixtures and form plus Kun maybe missing both 27 and 30? I’d think carefully about his GW29 fixture though!!! Maybe Lukaku instead? I know it’s still Villa but I’d be willing to chance that Vardy matches him there and he has an extra game too. And defo won’t miss 30.

      • AT says:

        Haha, hey init.
I was thinking about Vardy, just deterred by Lukaku’s next fixture, reckon Fuchs would get a decent return this week too.

didn’t know that about Aguero, interesting. Best thing about Aguero though is that my ML leader doesn’t have him so the best player in the league is a differential.

Hmmm, at least I have weeks to deliberate!

        • inittowinit says:

If they beat Chelsea this weekend in the cup he’ll miss 2 of the next 4 games. 29 is the killer there though as surely you’d captain him at home to Villa. Especially if the leader doesn’t have him. If he’s got sense he may plan to bring him in for that one though I guess. If not then even better!

    • 130.2
      Silvers says:

AT not looking great mate thk I would do either Luk or Firmino whoever you won’t lose the most cash on. I would wait until all games complete.

      Raziel says:

      Looking sexy man. 😉

You need to plan ahead better, next time. For instance, the Borthwick transfer was an obvious waste.

Try to field 11. And from gw 27 on, keep your eyes close on gw 30. Prepare yourself better.

Simpson was bad luck, but Wanya was never going to bring anything anyway.

    Raziel says:

Hey guys. Anyone know how the new Cl league fantasy game will look? Like 4 games this week and 4 games next week. Are those games all part of one gameweek? Or do this gameweek games count as one and next weeks as a stand alone for which we will be allowed to do 6 transfers? I don’t get this fucking game any longer. :-\
