Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 33 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 32GW33 is live! Its not just 6 teams that decided to take the gameweek off, our lunch time kick-off is also on a sabbatical this week. However we do have 4 three o’clock games. The Baggies visit Palace where Pulis will look to not take another beating. Palace averaging more than 2 goals per game over their last 6 and West Brom allowing 2 per game over that same time frame, sounds like a good day to own assets from the Pardew juggernaut. The Toffees see Burnley come in who despite their bad luck this season are still fighting for survival. Last place Leicester host the Swans, the Foxes are all of a sudden back in the fight to stay up with 2 straight wins. Southampton pay a visit to the Britannia where they will unleash Pelle on Stoke. Chelsea and Manchester United close the Saturday games. Interesting match up this, one team scoring for fun and the other only scoring just enough to get by. Hopefully CFC can up their one shot on target output from last week.

Sunday welcomes in the last two fixtures of this light gameweek. The Hammers visit the Etihad, where I am sure the stadium will be buzzing with excitement after City’s recent displays and an opponent that hasn’t won on their travels since December 2nd. Speaking of excitement, Newcastle welcome in over-the-hill Harry Kane and a Spurs side that has lost that spark about them, so much so, that basically they resemble Newcastle now.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Saturday in full…

Crystal Palace v West Brom 3pm

Everton v Burnley 3pm

Leicester v Swansea 3pm

Stoke v Southampton 3pm

Chelsea v Man Utd. 5:30pm

Sunday sees two fixtures…

Man City v West Ham 1:30pm

Newcastle v Spurs 4pm

I’m waiting for injury news, but initial thoughts are to do these transfers for -8:

    Silva > Sterling
    Eriksen > Hendo
    Dawson/Alder > Skrtel

Heard that the early signs are positive for both Silva and Alder. Anyone heard anything more solid?

Same Pool that lost to Villa earlier today?

I’d keep Silva if he gets passed fit. If he happens to be out then those seem like good transfers to me.

Hey Tekkers, looks like Silva may have chipped a tooth or something as opposed to fracturing his cheekbone!

@21LVA: Many thanks to all the messages of support, all the tests have gone well and I’m already home. The 3 points is what was important!

      As for Alder –

@BenDinnery: Koeman confirms Toby Alderweireld dislocated his shoulder which was put back into place “early signs are positive” #SaintsFC

I’d say Silva is fine and Alder may miss out personally but I’m no medic. I’m guessing a dislocated shoulder still means a fair degree of pain and possibly limited training this week?

      • Hm, it would make it considerably easier for me if Silva was out. I might end up selling him anyways, keep Hendo long-term and replace Sterling with Özil. If I’m to keep Silva, then I’ll have to choose between Hendo and Sterling and it also impacts future moves due to less freed up funds.
I remember Given got a dislocated injury while playing for City, and that put him out for a month. Seems unlikely that Alder will play the coming week to me, but I’m no medic either.

    61 points for me B)

A green arrow might be too much to ask at this point.

    2FTs.

Thinking Erik + Naughton > Sterling + Skrtel.

    Would leave me 0.3M

    Decent moves?

How we all do then? I am on 58, which I guess is ok…? Not enough to win my Banterbury H2H though- anyone know if there are still things up for grabs in the qualification leagues? Do the top 2 make it into the proper leagues somehow?

About to trigger wildcard (though doubting Liverpool cover right now!). The one week punts on Murray and Silva didn’t pay off, but you can’t win them all…

Im in H2H League 2, and have won this round’s H2H. I am on 3rd place at the moment, but have a H2H with the first place guy next GW and this is my best chance to equalize points with him. Only 3 points away from top at the moment. B)

      • Pippin says:

Good luck! My league is being dominated by the force that is Mr Albertini, has barely put a foot wrong all season. And Ripcurl, who also posts on here, is making himself comfortable in second place. Hopefully my wildcard can make some last minute difference laugh
