Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 35 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 35GW35 is live! Another lunch time kickoff? Yes, thank you. The Foxes take on the permanent white flag waving Newcastle side. This a game between a club who is slowly crawling out of the relegation places for one that is falling faster than Suarez in the box. This fixture is followed by five 3pm games. The Villains welcome in the white hot Toffees. Martinez has the side rolling with 16 points out of their last 18. Wonder what has made the difference? *Checks Naismith (Ginger Messi) last start. Hmmm, interesting six games ago he was benched for good. Well that proves one thing. How amazing Everton is of course, to be doing all this without their best player is quite the feat. QPR visit Liverpool in a clash that will surely see the Merseysiders put in 4-5 goals by the London outfit….sorry I forgot this was 2015 not 2014. Maybe Liverpool will eek out a 1-0 win if they are lucky. In another festive affair, the Black Cats look to scratch a Saint. Southampton with the season coming to a close are more interested in readying their club to supply other EPL teams with overpriced talent. (Liverpool, we are looking at you) In Wales, the Swans welcome in Stoke. It is a battle of two teams who have done well for themselves and ahh, yeah that’s about all we have to say. The Hammers have Burnley coming in for a match up of two teams that have only won twice all year long. What?! That’s right these two outfits have managed 23 points between them since Jan.1st out of a possible 90. Our prediction for this game is that both will come away with a loss somehow. In that last fixture of the day, United hope that Pulis doesn’t also figure out like CFC & Everton how to stop the kick it high to the Mop LVG philosophy.

On Sunday we have two fixtures. The Champions to bore, I mean be, see the Silver Fox come in for a visit. Terry and Pardew at the same place should be exciting for all promiscuous women. In the second game Spurs host the Citizens. Pochettino is hoping his side can continue to hang on to their Europa league spot. Because what would a Europa League be without them? We need something to do on a Thursday afternoon just as much as Roberto Soldado.

The game-week finishes off with a Hull team desperate for points so they can get closer to cementing their EPL spot for next season. Arsenal on the other hand would love nothing more then earning a second place trophy to add to their trophy case over the last decade. Surely would become the center piece of that fabulous collection.

    NIN says:

Any thoughts on what to do with this lot? Team has been in freefall recently, and needs some work. Willing to take a -4 if reasonable. 1 FT and 1.1 in the kitty.

      Raziel says:

Well, you will need Giroud, you can let go of Pool coverage imho. I have 3 Pool shitters to get rid of. See you already have 2 Gooners. Just need 1 Gunner and 1 Sunderland player?

      • inittowinit says:

+1 Plan around Giroud. Him for Murray in less than 3 transfers that involves ditching whoever you need to but probably Sterling. Look at the Sunderland mids I suppose – Larsson and Gomez.

      • NIN says:

Cheers Raz/init. Would you’s do it in one go? Murray&Sterling out for Sunderland mid&Giroud?

        • Raziel says:

Hard one. Look at fixtures. Must say, don’t really like the idea of a Sunderland mid but Gomez scored 2 in his last game. Plus, well they must do shit now. Everybody figures they will drop down. We’ll see. They have Everton/Leicester/Arsenal/Chelsea left. SO keep that in mind, the last GW Chelsea.

        • EBC says:

I’m looking at 3-5-2 next week and benching him gw38

        • NIN says:

Hmm, those fixtures are pretty shite, eh? I like the sound of Brooky’s Tekkers idea below..

        • KI says:

          Raz,

I dunno what to do, either, about Sunderland. I have Pants and PvA on my bench, as subs, so they’d be free, but I’m not sure whether to use one (or both). I also have room for Larsson on a gw37 FT. Which way to go?
ps I’d be wary of Gomez; those goals were pens, and pretty dicey call.

      Brookyboy says:

If you do Sterling to Albrighton and Murray to Giroud will that leave you enough cash to do Henderson to Ozil next week ??

Only just had chance to see how I ended up today with my WC team. 57 with Ospina, Ramsey and Sanchez to go.

Should be 5 green arrows in a row, left it too late this season though!

Ouch. 12th in the world, Red Star Donetsk, is on 42, but has 42 on the bench. Feeling for him this morning.

Captain Dicky and His C Men says:

Ok guys am I a little mad? I’m thinking of Kane (not the best fixtures left, seemingly nothing for Spurs to play for) and Murray (what a let down, points dry up as soon as I get him) for Giroud and Ulloa (will his position be under threat? He has been key to the turn around but Nugent is returning soon).

That allows me next week to bring in Ramsey for Sterling

Captain Dicky and His C Men says:

Or Clyne for Wasilewski, and Murray to Giroud and again Ramsey for Sterling next week?

    • 106.2
      NIN says:

Morning Dicky. Hmm, i’d actually keep Kane. Stoke and Hull next two looks good to me. The Liverpool mid’s could be moved on, or at least one of them, before Kane. Cant see them causing Chelsea many, if any, problems.

      • Captain Dicky and His C Men says:

Morning. I think I have decided on getting rid of Clyne, with no clean sheet in 5 and playing against teams in the relegation scrap and City cant see a great return. So im doing Clyne to Wasiewski and Sterling to Ramsey then the following week Giroud in for Murray. Gives me 3 Arsenal players for the DGW, shame though as i wanted to get Sanchez but cant see how I can.

        • Brookyboy says:

I’m doing the very same clyne to was i whatsisname move myself to free up some cash.Double Southampton at the back isn’t working out !

      Mitro says:

I’m getting rid of Kane for giroud for the DGW!

    Morning!!

How is your GW Going so far? Currently on 53 with Rambo and Alexis to play! Kinda hoping they run riot tonight!!

Anyone thinking of tekkers for the remaining GWs? I brought him in sat night and I reckon I will leave him as my cappo for GW36 & GW38

    FPL_Addict_31 says:

Want to bring in Benteke but I don’t know who for!
I’ve got Kane who’s not in great form and Aguero who may be rested now City doing have much to play for? Thoughts please??

    • 108.1
      NIN says:

For me, there’s absolutely no chance that Aguero gets left out when he’s fit and firing. I’d sell Kane before Aguero, but i’d actually keep both this week at least.

      Brookyboy says:

I’m bringing him in for Kane,he looked shot yesterday.Over fifty per cent of teams have Kane, if you wanna move up the rankings it’s a gamble worth taking in my opinion.
