Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 5 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are now final! This could actually be a tough week for fantasy managers. A lot of the usual, ‘obvious’ candidates are away from home and even those that aren’t have difficult games on paper. Arsenal, Liverpool, Southampton, Man Utd and Chelsea are all on the road while Swansea and Man City are at home but are by no means guaranteed anything, facing Southampton and Chelsea respectively. QPR and Stoke kick us off at 12.45pm in the early Saturday game and even that ones hard to call given the inconsistencies of both. We then have five 3pm kick offs and the day is rounded off as West ham host Liverpool in the evening game at 5.30pm. Sunday sees Leicester vs Man Utd and Spurs vs West Brom, both at 1.30pm followed by two 4pm games as Everton host Palace and the big one of the weekend that sees Man City square up to Chelsea.
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.
Good luck for GW5 from all at FF247!
Evening all, not the best of weeks for me. Any ideas here, quite stuck actually. 2fts and no moola. Thanks
Krul,foster
Moreno,pieters, Bruce,Clyne,Taylor
Mata,Ramsey, Siggy,Sterling,Fabregas
Costa,Rooney,vaz te
Migs, I think the strategy is obvious, but you’ll need to do some homework on the personnel. I would lose Vaz Te and either Mata or Ramsey and get a 3rd striker and a cheaper midfielder. Possibly who rotate nicely?
Migs I assume you are 3-5-2 so priority for me would be Mata to ADM and to facilitate that Moreno to anyone who does!
Can move to 3 up front if need be. i really wanted to get di Maria in ASAP. Initially I was thinking mata Rooney and Ramsey out for aguero di Maria and a 6.4 mid. What do you mean by obvious strategy cookie, am I missing something?
Was not expecting that ranking change at all…very happy after this week and next week looks like a goalfest!
Fantastic ranking! Nice one
Ahhh damn, my first set of red arrows tonight, always a shame…
Anyone else keep benching the wrong players? Terry / Clyne here.
Jamesimmo,
If i had played my best XI each week, I would be ranked 1st in the world.
Just how this game works…
I think many of us would! Imagine where the current #1 could be…
You’re right though. On to the next! Feeling optimistic.
Jamesimmo,
One lesson I have learnt is don’t bench Clyne…ever!
Same! I’ve done it twice now. That’s 17 points lost alone!
How many of us left Mannone on the bench
I took Krul out at about 10.30 Saturday morning!
Great call Nath really good score well done
Thanks, just need a few more good calls to make up for the bad ones I’ve made in the past few weeks
FINALLY a decent week with 74pts…..But look like I need to change Moreno to Duff maybe for next few gwks? 2FTs 0.1m in bank
Mannone (Krul)
Janmaat Clyne Moreno (wisdom, Hutton)
Fabregas, Siggy, Di Maria, Sterling (Ward Prowse)
Welbeck Costa Falcao
74 points in this gameweek is exceptional, well done.
I’d focus on your defence. Janmaat / Moreno don’t seem good value.
Thanks, the score has given me the boost up I needed in my leagues, choosing the wrong captain in a few games has cost me…
Yeah, I’m thinking both transfers need to be in my defence but not sure who to go for…i’ll probably wait till later in the week though.
Well done Nath, that’s outstanding!
I wouldn’t swap Moreno for Duff seen as though you already have two ÂŁ4.0m defenders. Look for more expensive defenders.
