Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 8 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW8 is live! We start the week off with a lunch time affair between Palace and West Brom. Palace brings the almost all useable, but none consistent enough to be used in FPL mids versus the Baggies all useable defenders as long as they are playing away. After that early kick off we follow it up with five, 3pm fixtures. The Villans battle Barca B (Stoke City) in an early relegation battle, newly promoted Watford pay a visit to the Wilson-less Bournemouth side, in other action Newcastle take on a Manchester City side that is playing like…well, Newcastle. The Canaries tangle with the recently perch dropped Leicester side after Mahrez and company got beat down at the hands of Arsenal. 3rd place West Ham gets their chance to fill their boots when they face the criminally inept Sunderland defence. In the last fixture of the day we see the strangely enough fun (funny at times) as heck Mourinho side face off against Southampton who is known to at times get into up and down affairs. Expect a 0-0 now.
On Sunday we have three fixtures. The Merseyside Derby gets us going. A surprising Everton side takes on the evil genius Brendan Rodgers. By evil we mean funny and by genius we also mean funny. After Rodgers finishes up with his party trick formations, we get some more when LVG takes his first place side to visit a 4th place side. Any idea who could be in 4th? Just guess, it is very obvious… that’s right Arsenal!! Wenger will feel relieved knowing he has already taken control of his ultimate objective and undoubtedly will have proved naysayers wrong again. Who needs a striker? Not Wenger! In the other fixture the Swans play host to the resurgent Spurs. Spurs of course are in 6th place, perfectly in line for a Europa spot, again.

Morning guys, right I was going to do Gomis to Pelle and maybe Haz to Sanchez but held off last night because I wasn’t sure about the hit but now I need to take a hit to do Gomis to Pelle because of that bloody price rise!! What do you guys think I should do??
Morning Matt…
I know Gomis had poor PLF returns in the last few wks…
But, he has a nice schedule ahead…
And for a hit – > I would say no…Keep !
Matt
I’d say hold. They’ll be a way to get whatever player you need IF you desperately need him after the internationals. Too risky to go in just now I think.
Hold your nerve. In any event, Gomis has Stoke and Villa coming up – decent chances for him to get back on it.
Morning Matt, and all. I say go for it mate. I ended up taking a hit last night myself to sort some issues. The Pelle/Alexis moves sound spot on to me.
Morning NIN I also took a hit Diouf (my patients gone with his injuries) > Vardy , & Martial > Pelle just because I needed cash for a def.
My problem is I have 3 City & Lei players in my team which could cause me problems.
Who did you put in ???
Pedro&Wilson –> Tadic&Pelle. Hate making moves this early in a break but decided to take the risk this time.
Cheers to all of you. Some contrasting opinions there but I think I’ll go with the Doctor and GP(sorry NIN 😛 ). Didn’t know about the fixtures but they do sound good, also just seen that Sanchez went off with a groin injury yesterday so will need to keep an eye on that.
Morning all! Hope the weekend was good to everyone. I achieved my best ever score of 109 (and it’s nearly twice my best score of this season so far…). Thinking about sitting tight on the transfer as I have a few players who should rise in price, but alarmingly Sterling and Muniesa seem to be dropping (hopefully they won’t go down again).
I was thinking of Ben Davies or a Palace defender in for Muniesa, or maybe Silva/Walcott in for Sterling (cannot afford De Bruyne).
Pippin
Good score mate congratulations.
I would sort out a defender and leave Sterling a bit longer purely because you look a bit thin at the back. Muniesa to Souare sounds good. Let’s hope Naughton will be OK in two weeks time.
Thanks GP. Do you know if Naughton was injured? I missed that… Sterling is also likely to keep playing, and should get in amongst the goals at some point. Muniesa is definitely the one to make way I think, and I like Soare’s attacking potential.
Hi Pippin, Naughton missed the game due to personal reasons.
Morning Init
I missed that. Thanks for sharing.
Re: Soare…
Ward & Delaney are expected to be back on 17 Oct…
Suggest to keep an eye on that…
Hi HL
I think Hangeland is keeping Delaney’s place and Ward is right back (being covered by Kelly). I think Souare is OK for now. Although the way Pardew is rotating, what do I know? 😉
Hey GP…
Tnx, mate…
Posted this mainly bcs I was not so sure myself who would lose his spot…when those 2 come back…
Soare or Hangeland…
Now it’s more clear…
