Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 8 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW8 is live! We start the week off with a lunch time affair between Palace and West Brom. Palace brings the almost all useable, but none consistent enough to be used in FPL mids versus the Baggies all useable defenders as long as they are playing away. After that early kick off we follow it up with five, 3pm fixtures. The Villans battle Barca B (Stoke City) in an early relegation battle, newly promoted Watford pay a visit to the Wilson-less Bournemouth side, in other action Newcastle take on a Manchester City side that is playing like…well, Newcastle. The Canaries tangle with the recently perch dropped Leicester side after Mahrez and company got beat down at the hands of Arsenal. 3rd place West Ham gets their chance to fill their boots when they face the criminally inept Sunderland defence. In the last fixture of the day we see the strangely enough fun (funny at times) as heck Mourinho side face off against Southampton who is known to at times get into up and down affairs. Expect a 0-0 now.
On Sunday we have three fixtures. The Merseyside Derby gets us going. A surprising Everton side takes on the evil genius Brendan Rodgers. By evil we mean funny and by genius we also mean funny. After Rodgers finishes up with his party trick formations, we get some more when LVG takes his first place side to visit a 4th place side. Any idea who could be in 4th? Just guess, it is very obvious… that’s right Arsenal!! Wenger will feel relieved knowing he has already taken control of his ultimate objective and undoubtedly will have proved naysayers wrong again. Who needs a striker? Not Wenger! In the other fixture the Swans play host to the resurgent Spurs. Spurs of course are in 6th place, perfectly in line for a Europa spot, again.

I’ve just used my wc before prices go up.Will mangala keep his place in city lineup, please help with this.
Risky one. I would like to see Zab-Komp-Otta-Kolarov. But I’m not Pellegrini, but we’ll see.
Selling value of my team already 101.1m. Now Pedro will drop another 0.1m and probably more it would be much lower. Do I just keep him? Also have Gomez to worry about. My team:
Buttland – McCarthy*
Richards – Francis – Kolarov – Gomez* – Steven Taylor*
Pedro* – deBruyne – Sanchez – Mahrez – Westwood
Kun – Martial – Vardy
* Problem players. Either not playing/injured/not good enough. Think defence should be main worry in this team. Also, Chelsea facing Villa after the IB. Two weeks away might do Chelsea good. Ideas? I shouldn’t worry about players like Martial/Gomez/Pedro dropping right?
I would wait for IB to finish and see if Mane is healthy then transfer him in for pedro. I wouldn’t mind the drops.
I find that the hardcore players jump on bandwagons on the previous weekend, and then nothing will happen for the next two weeks till the Friday before the next game week, so maybe Pedro will be safeish (he says).
Although, after a horrific performance against Saints, Jose might bring him back in and could hit a big haul against Villa. My thoughts were the same, but I wanted Sanchez (transferred Sanchez out before his hatrick against Lei
).
I’d just say that you’re right about your defence, Gomez/Taylor sitch needs addressing before you think about Peddy.
Would you guys do Payet to Mane? I;m really considering it. I know it is sideways but… listen up,
West hams next 4 fixtures: cpa CHE wat EVE
Southampton’s: LEI liv BOU sun
I;m most probably not gonna do it but I wanna hear what you guys have to say…
NO! NO! NO! Sideways. Also, I heard Mane might not start the first game after the IB? Something to do with the Africa trip? I don’t know.
Thank you! Insightful news, that is what i was looking for.
What’s consensus on Pedro? Has he lost his spot for sure? I feel I need to be rid of him.
1. Straight swap for Eriksen?
2. Take a hit to get KDB? Who else should go?
Gomis is also deadwood. Can you do Pedro & Gomis to KDB & Vardy?
Yes, but I really need to make some changes at the back. Total of 5 points from the 5 defenders if you add the last two weeks together :/
I also don’t know if I’m ready to give up on Gomis yet.
Mane or payet?!I’m on wc
Difficult one – Mane has the easier fixtures but I read further up this page he may miss the first game after the break!
I’d say Payet but with Pelle up top.
Mane won’t be about for GW9 apparently. Not sure how or why it’s happened but evidently they have a very late game in the #IB Haven’t actually verified it yet but just going off posts on here.
1FT 0.8m Thoughts on this team please!
I am looking to get KDB for YYT but I would need to raise 0.9m and it requires a hit which doesn’t bother me!
YYT – Mane is another option
Thanks
I’d axe Darmian to a 4.5m defender and go ahead with that hit. After the break of course…
Thanks – that was my thinking someone like Dann?
For me, best 4.5m is Davies. Cheap way into Spurs def.
