Is this worth a 4 PTS HIT ?

    Sterling & Siggy – Out
    Hazard & Chadli/Downing – in

Hazard in for Sterling, absolutely. I’d captain him.

Siggy out, not so much – only if you need the funds to bring in Hazard.

      • EBC says:

Maybe actually, looking at your bench options. Depends on his injury and the value you have built in him.

If he’s fit I’d keep him.

If he’s injured for a couple of weeks then take the hit and bring him back for Mane when Southampton get harder fixtures.

I’m not sure. My initial thought is yes, but Chadli/Downing makes me unsure. Sterling looked pretty tired against Hull and COULD get rested or subbed against Newcastle. With Liverpool’s attacking issues I think it’s worth getting rid of Sterling now. Even if he plays and scores next weekend it’s worth it. He won’t shine like Hazard until Sturridge is back. Siggy is a little off aswell but so is Chadli and I don’t think Downing is worth getting. Right now I’d say yes, Hazard and Chadli in would be worth a 4 point hit.

I need to get Baines and Fab in my team… Would you say that’s a given ? I think they’re pretty much becoming essential (even if you don’t necessarily agree with the label).

    But how ?

      EBC says:

      Moreno to Chambers this week.
Then Clyne, Tadic and Sterling for Baines, Fabregas, +1 (Downing maybe, too tired to work out how much cash you’d have) over the next couple of weeks.

Demsie – I prefer Hazard over Fabregas. But anyways, how about Costa to Berahino and Moreno/Taylor to Baines and Sigurdsson to Fabregas. If you don’t want to get rid of Costa then I have no idea how you’ll get Baines and Fabregas.

      • I think I prefer Haz too in all honesty but Fab just seems a lot more consistent and he’s cheaper – I know. Only a bit. But cheaper is Cheaper.

Maybe I should just forget about Baines for now and just get in Haz / Fab.

If I got rid of Costa I would have no idea who to bring in… That’s the main reason I didn’t get shut this week…. Maybe I’m just being a wimp. There are plenty of options…. I just feel safer with a more expensive front 3. Always have… Always will no doubt. Maybe that’s my downfall……

        • Cody says:

Demsie – Yeah having an expensive front 3 gives a safe feeling. But honestly if Costa isn’t fit then he really isn’t worth holding on to. If your gut feeling says Fabregas, then you should go for it. I had a gut feeling on friday saying I should cap Alexis, but I was too afraid of not capping Aguero.
So how about a direct swap, Sterling -> Fabregas. With your .8 in the bank that should work.

Looks like there is a mad scramble of Di Maria to Sanchez moves. Interesting!

      Cody says:

Are people really getting rid of Di Maria? Ahahahaha let them. I want him to become a punt for me.

      • Cody says:

If you tell me that people are getting rid of Angel because of United’s fixture against MCI then I will be speechless. His magical crosses and 1v1 dribbles makes him fixture proof. Always a threat and could earn an assist in the blink of an eye. Not to mention that MCI have been average in the back this season.

      • EBC says:

FFF predicting he will drop tomorrow.

        • Raziel says:

He’s allowed to drop, bought him at 9.5m meaning a drop to 10.1m is ok. Crazy, since it will be much harder to buy him back and it’s not like he’s injured like a Costa/Falcao. Anyway, people dropping Di Maria is just crazy. In all honesty, in my opinion he had a very poor game for his standards today, very poor.

        • Cody says:

Yeah I doubt he’ll play like that again any time soon.

So, this is my team. I’m looking for ways to get Baines in, but it’s not possible without downgrading some of my front 7. Does Clyne -> Baines and Sterling -> Mane sound good? Looking at Soton’s fixtures after GW 12, I think it’s perfectly fine to drop Clyne.
And of course, I won’t do anything until we get some updates on Costa and Siggy.

Looking for Costa/Hazard cash. Is Ivanovic going down; is Steven Taylor likely to be around for a few more games? Thanks-I’m still figuring out the new price change algorithm-the FF247 is very helpful on the general logic-can’t figure specific applications.
