Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 13. We’re back to live FPL and fantasy action, finally. You’ve had two full weeks to mull over your key transfer and captain decisions, which is sometimes a good thing, but sometimes not! Whatever you landed on it’s time to see if it was worth the wait and there’s a fair chance that many of your questions will be answered straight away as we begin with a bumper bunch at 3pm with no less than six games going at once. It almost feels nostalgic.
The six said games see Brighton host Leicester with Dunk hoping for 3 in 3, Everton hoping Warnock is in his usual laissez-faire mood, Fulham hoping Ranieri has packed his magic lamp against Hughes’ Saints, Woy hoping that Jose et al get stuck in traffic as usual and finally miss a home game, Watford hoping that Salah doesn’t do a repeat on them and West Ham simply hoping to keep the score down to something respectable against the Pep machine.
The 5.30pm game on Saturday should be a cracker, regardless of any fantasy interest, as Spurs host Chelsea.
Sunday sees us with just the two games as Bournemouth host Arsenal at 1.30pm before Wolves and Huddersfield play out Sky’s premium game of the weekend… yeah, we know #pass
But don’t worry if you fell asleep during that last one as Monday night will be… oh, hang on… Who the hell schedules these TV games?! Go back to sleep, it’s Burnley v Newcastle… #zzzz

If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

I know the preferred ARM formation, but might only be able to do the AR option (either Azpi or Alonso).
Midfield – toying between Hazard, Salah, Mane, Sterling or Sane. Ideally would like Pool midfielder.
Attack wise. Would like Arnie, and either Kane or Aguero (although Aguero cheaper).

Looks good on the whole. I’d modify a bit. Ditch Firmino go with Arnie. Alonso over Azpil. Get rid of Cedric. Maybe TAA. Use the cash to get someone over Pereyra possibly Martial or a City mid
Smash. I already have Robertson in defence for Pool. What about Sterling/Hazard etc?
I have brought in Sterling/Camarasa/Anderson/Digne/Wilson as prices are rises – dont ask me why? (probably as I think it might boost my team value and give me a bit more cash)
I quite like the idea of double Liverpool defence. I almost went with Trent this week and would have if Doherty weren’t injured. I still can’t get my head round Sterling’s points returns
I think everyone is going for Sterling as it looks like his price is going to rise tonight so have got him now before it does.
still not 100% sure how that works which is why I have bought every rising player now..lol just in case. done it as I think it will increase my team value by 0.5million I hope unless I read it wrong. Some of the players I won’t be keeping

You could always take Hazard for Salah this week and switch that back the week after?
Thing is, Chelsea have Wolves and Liverpool have Burnley. City have Watford mid week. There is no way I can accommodate them all

Question. I bought Fraser for 5.9m. His buying price is 6.2m. Do I actually make .3m on that price? Whats the deal as I want to sell him now for my wildcard
You’ll get 6.0 for him

So how is it worked out then?
For every 0.2 he goes up you get 0.1
The thieves at FPL take half your profit. I would only get 5.9 as I bought him at 5.5!

As a quick solution for a few weeks I could do özil to sterling, Anderson to Brooks, Zaha had decent game’s coming up?, I can bench Brooks next weekend play a wan bassaka against Burnley at home?

On the plus side you have a clean sheet coming off the bench with another potential one later. Or if Ozil appears and Wolves concede a 1 point cameo and maybe a 2 pointer. Swings and roundabouts…

Very difficult Igy. You’d have to lose either of Kun/Salah. I wouldn’t lose Hazard ahead of his fixture against Fulham. Aguero seemed off in yesterday’s game. You can do Kun+Camarasa to Success + Sterling. Or Salah to him

Cheers all. Decent week this. But, no City cover is killing me. Want to bring Sane and/or Sterling/Silva. How should I do it? May be play 3-5-2 with Hazard, Sane, Silva, Richarlison and Mane, with Salah and Billing out?
Can also do a straight swap of Richarlison to Sane/Silva. Everton don’t have good looking fixtures ahead.
Yes, you definitely need some City attacking cover in there. Salah or Mane to Sterling seems the obvious move. Can you afford Salah+Richarlison > Sterling+Sane?
