Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 13. We’re back to live FPL and fantasy action, finally. You’ve had two full weeks to mull over your key transfer and captain decisions, which is sometimes a good thing, but sometimes not! Whatever you landed on it’s time to see if it was worth the wait and there’s a fair chance that many of your questions will be answered straight away as we begin with a bumper bunch at 3pm with no less than six games going at once. It almost feels nostalgic.
The six said games see Brighton host Leicester with Dunk hoping for 3 in 3, Everton hoping Warnock is in his usual laissez-faire mood, Fulham hoping Ranieri has packed his magic lamp against Hughes’ Saints, Woy hoping that Jose et al get stuck in traffic as usual and finally miss a home game, Watford hoping that Salah doesn’t do a repeat on them and West Ham simply hoping to keep the score down to something respectable against the Pep machine.
The 5.30pm game on Saturday should be a cracker, regardless of any fantasy interest, as Spurs host Chelsea.
Sunday sees us with just the two games as Bournemouth host Arsenal at 1.30pm before Wolves and Huddersfield play out Sky’s premium game of the weekend… yeah, we know #pass
But don’t worry if you fell asleep during that last one as Monday night will be… oh, hang on… Who the hell schedules these TV games?! Go back to sleep, it’s Burnley v Newcastle… #zzzz

That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

I know it’s a bit early, but would you consider doubling up in City midfield in the coming weeks? Sounds a bit crazy maybe, but I feel there is potential, and due to some injuries (KDB, Mendy), some of them may have more gametime.
I already own Sterling but am having a look at Sane or David Silva. Do you have any preference between these two?
KDB is due back start of December. I have David, but think Sterling and Sane would be my WC picks.

Not crazy at all. I had Silva and Sane earlier in the season and I wish I had hung onto them!
I don’t think there’s a lot between them so I’d probably go for David Silva as he’s the cheaper.
Would you keep Hazard in your team or get sterling?, thoughts on Özil out and Son in?
Aaron, Hazard is currently injured so you certainly need to monitor that for the weekend. On current form I’d take Sterling.
And yes I would take Son over Ozil given Spurs’ fixtures and Emery’s lack of faith in Ozil.
Only got until Friday haven’t we?, I can afford son or Alli which one would you choose?
It’s gotta be Alli. He’s a better player and nailed on when fit. Son will likely rotate with Moura and Lamela
Hazard has a really favorable matchup so if he’s fit, I wouldn’t ship him out yet

A good read there, Kop. Still only 22! I wonder if they will revert back to the “Kane-Alli-Son-Eriksen quadrangle”? They were certainly deadly last year w/ it.
The 4 of them linked up quite effectively against Chelsea. The balance of the team isn’t right when one of them doesn’t play.
True! Hopefully with the injuries, post WC fatigue, Asian Cup, etc. behind them, they will do so! I’d like to see Spurs finally win a title. Liverpool too ofcourse!
What’s your interpretation of that Kop? Mine is that we don’t get him in for fantasy purposes.
That’s what I took from it as well Init. Of the 3 mids I think my preferred option is Son.
Eriksen or Son for me as well. Son a little more likely to be subbed off or rotated possibly tho…

Who would you rather have?
A. Sterling
B. Sane and 1.9 itb
C. Dilva and 2.6 itb
In options B and C I would be upgrading my mid and bringing in the likes of Siggy and try squeeze a 5th mid in there too.
Also what happened to Murray that flagged him?
! For me it has to be sterling but sane did look awesome at the weekend.
Yeah mind says Sterling but the tightarse in me says getting Sane or Dilva will allow a stronger balance.
You got me thinking about sane and the funds that I would have leftover for the Xmas period!

I don’t like a cheap mid and a cheap striker, seems like a waste of an attacking option.
No Spurs will hurt. I wouldn’t bother with Hart, just play Fabianski.
Is Azpi justifying his price tag?
Cookie – who would you suggest as the midfield and striker alternatives?
I do still have fraser that I could swap out.
Do I not need to worry about an alternative goalie? Or is that not needed to after January?
Who else instead of Azpi? Especially as Fulham this weekend.

You’ll need some Spurs in there – whether that is Kane or one of their mids is up to you. Kun to Kane will be popular – which means raising money elsewhere.
Straight away, getting rid of Hart gives you 0.5mln. You don’t need Hart.
Double Liverpool defence? Is that necessary? No. Lose Robbo if you’re confident on TAA.
Get Brooks instead of Fraser if you want to retain Bournemouth coverage.
Maybe even consider Sane instead of Sterling?
Mitrovic has niceish fixtures coming up. Jimenez is an ok 3rd striker.
For cheap defenders, look at Brighton, possibly even Huddersfield & Everton rotators?!
Arsenal also gave some nice matches around the corner.
I’m not saying its easy, its far from it. But with the likes of Arsenal & Spurs have a nice turn of fixtures, the template is about to be smashed wide open and you should use your wildcard to take advantage.
I did consider Sane but thought Sterling would be better, albeit dearer.

will stick with Robertson as he seems to be getting the assists. but will monitor TAA over the next few games.
I have got Arnie up front, and Felipe Anderson in for the Hammers. Our fixtures are good up to Christmas
Who, in all honesty is the better City midfield option? Sterling, Sane or David Silva?
Sterling is the most expensive, has the points etc, but Sane/Silva are alot cheaper and almost have similar points 69/66 .
David Silva has played almost the same game time as Sterling, but suppose Sterling is always in the right place at the right time.
Is it worth the extra to go for Sterling?
How will KDB affect Silva when he’s back? He should be back in December! I think Sterling is the best one!

Yeah, I’d like to squeeze several players in my team as well whom I can’t squeeze in, it’s tough! I’d pick Salah over Hazard to be honest, but yeah he’s more expensive! Why did you sell TAA, he’s one of the best value players in the game! I’m starting to think he’s a must have, a lot better option than Azpi that’s for sure!
I have Robertson, and think he has the edge over TAA. I don’t want 2 Pool defenders as I think it could be a risk in some ways. Yes TAA is cheaper, but Robertson seems to get more assists.
Thing is, Chelsea have Fulham this weekend, so presumed Hazard would be a must, especially as Pool have Everton.
I can get Alonso instead of Azpi (but my rival has him, so need to differ somehow).
Having two Pool defenders is completely irrelevant! Robertson/TAA is a lot better than Robertson/Azpi because TAA will outscore Azpi in Points Per Million by a lot! I don’t have TAA because I have Robertson who is nailed in my team and didn’t want two Pool defs but I’ve now realized that just makes absolutely no sense at all! Plus if you think Pool are good defensively and will get quite a lot of cleanies, then there’s absolutely no reason not to have TAA; if you think Pool don’t keep many cleanies then why have Robertson?
Hazard if fit against Fulham is obviously a very good choice!
ZL, Pool do keep cleansheets, but would rather not have 2 defenders that’s all, just in case. I just thing Robertson edges TAA, that’s all.
Only way I can get Hazard is to ditch Salah.
Fair enough, I was actually thinking of Alonso —> TAA if he looks poor against Fulham

I am hoping Sterling will be rested this weekend, either way he most likely won’t play both games, so I wouldn’t rush to buy him just yet, wait for his rest which is most likely coming in the next two GWs and then rush to buy! Or at least that’s my current plan! 😉
Will play next weeks game by ear. First things first, this weekend!!!
