Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14

With barely a moment to catch up or give any real thought to a transfer we are back again as we begin on Saturday and end on Monday with a chance for a quick breather before Boxing Day, but take it while you can as once next Saturday is here we then have a game or more every day on 9 of the next 10 days, spanning multiple GW’s. New Years Eve being the only one sans any action.

On that note we shall give you a quick update on our intentions in regards to publishing articles over this busy period. In short we shall have a bumper Christmas Tips on the 22nd with a Site Team edition on Xmas Eve. Beyond that it will probably just have to be ‘Live Match Chats’ with everybody fending for themselves / helping each other out, as the GW’s do literally seem to fall over each other from one day to the next, allowing us scant opportunity to say anything meaningful in-between. We do intend to post a brief FF247 Site Team update each time but there will be none of the usual Fixtures, Tips, Capos etc as there simply isn’t time or room. Plus we like our writers to have a good rest occasionally too!

GW14 itself begins on Saturday at 12.30 pm and ends on Monday night. The full line-up is in the picture below. Just also bear in mind, to complicate matters even more, that there are midweek Milk Cup games which involve Newcastle, Arsenal, Man City, Spurs, Everton and Man United.

The GW14 games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 14 from all at FF247!

Thanks for reading Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14.

  1. Any suggestions on bench/pitch order for next GW? Transfer already done (1m ITB for next week).

    • Southampton defender on the bench catches the eye but Fulham are not the pushover they were a number of weeks ago and Romeu is suspended and he does protect the space in front of the defence well.

I think you may have that right SF.

    • Think you have it right

    • You are set. Bed 1st on bench as you have it.

    • It’s a solid starting xi so I doubt you’ll need it, but my preference would be to Look for Ademola as first your first Man to sub in and save your week

    • I have a feeling that Bednarek will outscore Soucek. But I’ll keep it as it is.

  2. How risky is it bringing in Stones? Thinking at his price may still be worth it if he does’t play the odd game? What do you think?

    • Too risky for me in that City team.

      • They are not scoring much, but do keep CS…
Taylor another option but doesn’t play in GW18 and no double in GW19..
Have Bedranek, Zouma, Cresswell and Cooper. Selling Mitchell. What would you suggest LRL?

      • Thanks guys. Will probably go for both Stones and Taylor.

    • Ive gone for it. Even if he plays 50% I’m okay with it at that price

    • 8 clean sheets in the 10 games he’s played. Ake being terrible including the game he came in against West Brom and Laporte being out of favour maybe even fallen out with Pep. Stones heavily praised he seems as ok as any City defender on current form to me

  3. For those keeping an eye on blanks and doubles, the Caribau cup final is moved from Feb to April 25th.

    • I’ve had Jorginho since week 5, lost me half a mil, finally ditched him this week after not starting the last 7 weeks and now he plays! Why?!

  4. Right team selection this week?

  5. Charlie Taylor. The only good thing I had going for me this week, of course he loses his CS in 89’.

I’ve a tally of 60+ odd point, but am still losing massive ground in ranks. Oh what a difference a captain can make smile
