Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14
With barely a moment to catch up or give any real thought to a transfer we are back again as we begin on Saturday and end on Monday with a chance for a quick breather before Boxing Day, but take it while you can as once next Saturday is here we then have a game or more every day on 9 of the next 10 days, spanning multiple GW’s. New Years Eve being the only one sans any action.
On that note we shall give you a quick update on our intentions in regards to publishing articles over this busy period. In short we shall have a bumper Christmas Tips on the 22nd with a Site Team edition on Xmas Eve. Beyond that it will probably just have to be ‘Live Match Chats’ with everybody fending for themselves / helping each other out, as the GW’s do literally seem to fall over each other from one day to the next, allowing us scant opportunity to say anything meaningful in-between. We do intend to post a brief FF247 Site Team update each time but there will be none of the usual Fixtures, Tips, Capos etc as there simply isn’t time or room. Plus we like our writers to have a good rest occasionally too!
GW14 itself begins on Saturday at 12.30 pm and ends on Monday night. The full line-up is in the picture below. Just also bear in mind, to complicate matters even more, that there are midweek Milk Cup games which involve Newcastle, Arsenal, Man City, Spurs, Everton and Man United.

Hi, any “rules experts” out there. I think I that I will FH in GW18. If I were to use the BB in GW19, would I be able to use the FT for that GW, or would I lose the FT? Can’t remember how that works. Any help will be gratefully appreciated.

I am doing that same strategy and yeah you can’t use FTs for GW18 when you’re using the FH chip, so make sure to not have two going into GW18…

Hey guys. Finished at 84 points this week. OK i think. No Salah is killing (also killed) me. How do I get him. Just have this weird feeling about h blanking against WBA.

I think one of Son or Kane can be given out along with Mahrez…(not convinced by him at all tbh) and Bring in Salah + another good asset. There are many in the given ranges I think. Other way to consider is, 84 is a very decent score so why try to fix something that ain’t broken??

I’m not convinced that giving up any Spurs is the best idea with Fulham, Leeds and Sheffield U on the horizon. Even Wolves, given as they managed to concede two to Burnley, which is often a feat in itself.

Do you have enough cash for Mahrez and Grealish to Salah and an enabler? Probably a bit short I guess. Grealish fixtures go bad soon.

Cheers guys. Not very keen on selling either of Kane/Son. Don’t like the idea of selling Mahrez either. Think he’ll start this week and God knows, get a brace or something.
Only option visible is Bruno + DCL to Salah + Mc Goldrick/Adams. What say?

I’d probably get Dallas and a Saint. Then next week take a deep breath and get Son for KdB.

I echo Innit’s suggestion, though I’d double on West Ham over a Soton defender, considering both DGW19 fixtures and the 5 fixtures that follow.
Also likely to drop KDB to Son the following week, though working out the prioritisation of Spurs players, namely Kane and Son, vs DGW players (Mane, Rashford, Vardy) is a challenge im finding rather tough at the moment.

Chilwell to Coufal could be sufficient with just 1 FT? Looking like you may need to avoid BB in DGW19, so TC Salah instead.
