GW16 kicks off at Goodison with Big Dunc in temporary charge of The Toffees and awaiting the second coming of Moyes The Messiah. Chelsea come to town for this lunchtime bonanza hoping to heap more misery on the blue half of Merseyside.

A trio of 3pm matches follow as Champions elect LiVARpool go to Bournemouth, Spurs welcome Burnley and Watford host Palace. The Manchester derby follows early evening as United take the short trip across the city to fill out the Etihad.

Sunday sees four matches with three of them starting at 2pm – Villa welcome Leicester, Southampton take the long trip to Newcastle while Sheffield United take the cross country trip to Norwich. The late game sees Wolves travel to Brighton.

Our game-week concludes Monday evening with another derby as West Ham and Arsenal vie for the title of London’s funniest.

Not looking to make an early move but thoughts here? Had the cash to go Son or Alli and went with the latter! Wish I had got Son now!

I didn’t see ManU v City game, how did Stirling play? Was he unlucky or just not looking like scoring?

I did say this was his last chance, so unless someone can say he was just unlucky not to score a few, he has to go.

Got Ali last week for Martial.

Will probably go Stirling to Son.

With the extra cash I can go Jimenez to Rashford for a -4 hit.

Is it time to jump on the Son and Rashford bandwagons?

35 with 6 to come. Hopefully will see green arrow at the end. Need some Clean-sheets as Soyuncu, Lundstram, Chambers and Doherty are still to play. Really want Vardy to remain quiet after one goal. And a brace from Ings shall be nice.

Thanks GP for positively jinxing Guaita :good2: How much do you charge per GW? 😉

Hey guys – further to my cricket score (16 for 7 – I’m talking about a really bad cricket team here!), I’m envisaging doing Puli for Son & Jesus for Rashford – because of last night’s rush of buying, this now leaves me 0.2 short, but if I get rid of Janmaat for someone at 4 or 3.9, I can just do it. Panic trading I know, but if I don’t, I feel this is the moment of the season where everything can either progress well, OR I can get squeezed out badly. I prefer to take these 2 onboard, with all my cash tied up in assets, that I can sell later on if need be – than to be stuck in a world of ‘What ifs’. My first real impulsive move of the season – but it’s like buying a pretty expensive house – if you strike trouble later, you can always sell it for a cheaper on (whereas the contrary is nigh impossible!).
    Team atm is
Pope – McGovern (looks like he’ll become Martin in a few week’s time!)
    TAA – Soy – Lundy – Rico – Janmaat
    Maddie – Mané – Alli – Pulisic – Kanté
Vardy – Abraham – Jesus (the miracle didn’t occur – now Kun is due back soon, he’ll go for crosstown in-form pick, Rashford!)

    See y’all – here’s hoping for a Vardy hattie & a LEIC cleanie! smile

      ‘cheaper ONE’ !

        I say go for it.

I would view it simply as a -4 for Son and Rashford. Never mind that the Janmaat one is the actual enabler. Two excellent FPL picks coming in for you. I haven’t trusted United much this season but I enjoyed watching them last night and they have a nice run of fixtures until January.

Of course it will be that the gameplan yesterday – playing very quickly in transition – won’t work against Watford, Newcastle or Norwich but pressure football against those sort of teams should work.

Thanks very much GP – reassured me in the logic of my pick (>I had to have a 2nd opinion to confirm that it was not just chasing last week’s points but in fact being able to take advantage of a key moment in the season!). So once again thank you mate – it’s a bit of a worry as I had my first disturbed night’s sleep due to an FPL result! It just irked me that my recent success (was at 11k, then slipped to 17k and came back up to 14k spot, so it was all very exciting until Saturday’s ‘comeuppance’!) had evaporated in one day! Anyway – will make these transfers and try and forget about taking it too seriously. See you round Geeps – are u up early to get to the big game? Best of luck and don’t forget to be gracious in either victory or defeat! Cheerio, AJW. smile

        • Always gracious (eventually) 😯

I’m up and about early in preparation. No ticket so I’m on the sofa today.

24 points with 6 to go. Not looking like a bright GW unless Vardy goes mental.

Due to TAA not playing, I have double Aston Villa defense this GW. :suicide:
